Mayra was unbelievable!! She runs everything! Could not have a more caring person to make the wedding day a breeze. My phone screen literally got water damage 2 hours before the wedding and she found an iphone repair place, had it ubered to them, fixed the screen, and ubered back to the hotel within an hour! Rain delay came in last minute and she had an amazing back-up venue that looked even better than what we had imagined on the first venue!! Highly recommend! -

If you want to feel more relaxed on your wedding day, then hire Mayra and her team to help prepare you for the big day! Her and her team paid attention to the smallest details like where the cocktail hour was held and created a detailed timeline of events so that I and the wedding party knew exactly where to be and when. She met with all of the vendors and provided coordination and direction so that all services seamlessly integrated. Her high level of professionalism was shown when she communicated with other vendors and the way she spoke to my family/the guests. My favorite part of her five-star service is when we returned to the bridal suite exhausted after the long day and all the flowers and gifts were already in the room. She is kind and has a strong ability to solve problems in a tactful manner. For example, my father can't walk on his own but she found a way with the help of my brother's for him to walk his only daughter down the aisle on the beach. This company and service is worth every penny and Mayra’s years of experience in the industry really made our special day one to remember until the end of time. I can’t thank her enough for all she did for us and her calm, supportive personality. -

Mayra made it her mission to make sure my wedding was a true fairytale. She succeeded 100%, not one thing went wrong the whole day, I was truly speechless! I can’t thank her and her team enough for making sure the day went effortlessly. Mayra also made sure as the weeks and days got closer that we had everything we needed and all details were seen through! I would highly recommend to anyone 100 times! Mayra you are such an amazing kind soul and again thank you for all your work! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mayra. She worked tirelessly to make our wedding day incredibly special in each and every way. She saved us money, she tended to every single detail, she followed through and followed up, she was calm and classy, she was easy to work with, she was affordable and she was AMAZING on the day of too!. My wedding dress needed replacing - no problem she had a vendor for that and found me a wedding dress just 3 days before my wedding day. My mom's make-up artists cancelled on the day of the wedding - no problem she had a solution for that and my mom looked like a movie star. It rained on our wedding day - no problem she had a plan A, B, C and D for that. I do not recommend anyone else as a wedding planner - she is THE BEST!!!!! -

Amanda Sent on 12/17/2015Mayra from Exclusively Yours Inc. was a real joy to work with on our wedding. She's organized and kept track of all the details! She was able to follow up and coordinate with all of our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page and on time. We had so many ideas but she was able to keep us focused and honed in on what we wanted our day to look like. She has a large network of vendors and was able to refer me to the make-up artist we used as well as gave me insight on the venue, photographer and florist. She truly cares about making sure you have the wedding of your dreams. -

Mayra starts off amazingly, full of energy and good spirits and positive affirmations all the way through the planning process. She gets in touch with vendors, event-coordinator, and attends phone and Zoom calls. She has you fill out all kinds of lists and asks for floor/setting plans. Wonderful! She always has words of encouragement to minimize stress and reminds you she and her staff are great at what they do and to leave everything in their hands! But BEWARE...
My wife and I spent 6 months meticulously planning our daughter's wedding. We hired Mayra and her company based on reviews to handle the last 3 months of planning. Timelines, specific seating charts/plans, vendor selections, and processional and music selections were all discussed and updated up to the last minute. As this was a large wedding of 150 guests being held outside in the evening, her staff's responsibilities/duties were discussed and determined. However, on the day of the event, it was as if we were dealing with a 'completely' different person! Mayra never introduced us to any of her mysterious staff, aside from one gentleman introducing himself hours later to us as a helper working with Mayra.
Both my wife and I were very stressed during the event as Mayra seemed to be in over her head, running from one issue to another, with no assistance we could see. As issues arose, we addressed our concerns with Mayra and asked that she take care of them. She would smile kindly and proceed to provide an excuse not to correct something, often saying it was too late or passing blame to a vendor. This was odd as all vendors knew that Mayra was in charge and that she had the last word in any situation as per our previous vendor meeting/conversation the week before. Additionally, all vendors were provided the same timeline and seating charts/plans by Mayra and knew when and where everything was to be and at what time. Mayra merely needed to remind them when things went awry and have the vendors do what they were paid to do.
It was all my wife and I could do to keep smiles on our faces in front of our daughter, pretending everything was perfect and wonderful. Although, it is rather hard to ignore 125 guests being served their dinner on the lawn in the dark, or to not notice the wilted, petal-dropping flowers of entire bridal party's bouquets, or to have the late-night Café Bar for our guests shut down and removed before they had a chance to utilize it before making their way to their cars. Of note: Mayra provided MC services during our reception dinner (for an additional $200) but originally told us that these services would be performed by one of her colleagues who inexplicably was not present. When questioned about this, Mayra said that both my wife and I had ‘misunderstood’ her emails and Zoom conversations, and that there was no ‘colleague’ to perform the MC work for the evening, only her. Right… I suppose this would explain why we were never introduced to ‘any’ of her colleagues or assistants that afternoon/evening. She was doing a solo act, although we were told for several months prior that we were paying for her and her staff’s services for the entire evening’s event.
Believe us when we tell you, the lack of attention, service, and professionalism during my daughter's wedding indicated to us that Mayra and her company's mission statement, "Our mission has remained the same for the past 13 years; to take a vision and bring it to life while ensuring an enjoyable planning phase. Our clients deserve it all! We make sure the day they have always dreamed of is realized and free of the unwanted stress that comes with planning even the most intimate event." is tragically inaccurate and she has proven NOT to be the 'totally prepared' wedding planner that she promised us she would be. If you have a large wedding or event planned with many moving parts, EY Events is not for you!
