    Thank You Brian

    Through all of the stress of 2020, Brian kept us sane and on track. We were not even sure we would be able to have our wedding but Brian kept us on top of the very changing details, never let us lose hope in our day but also letting us keep realistic expectations for how we could celebrate safely.

    SIMPLY THE BEST :) Brian was awesome to work with and had me smiling and laughing the entire duration of planning. My day was literally FLAWLESS and if it anything did go wrong, I did not know it. Please do not allow yourself to be fooled by choosing a planner because of their social media following--- Brian is THE BEST hands down. I am so happy I chose him he truly was a blessing. I have recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so.

    While the wedding itself did look nice, there are were things throughout my wedding day & planning process that upset me. He has good eye for design & great vendors, but as a planner lacks attention to detail.

    -Wanted to take a family photo in the ceremony space. response was "no, we have to flip the room" - I was really sad about this one because I'm the first to get married on my dad + mom's side, and really wanted a nice family photo. We ended up just doing this in the lobby in front of some stairs + a railing, it just took a few minutes.
    -Heard from different people he snapped at my MOH (sister) twice.
    -asked for scissors - fulfilled after asking others around, but surprised he didn't have this in a day of emergency kit ?
    -Timeline could've been done better, no direction on photography locale, when I asked where we would be shooting, he said the vendor would take care of everything. Ended up only with 2 locales and rushed up to wait around for 40 minutes , could've been used to taken more photos with at least an option of another different location.

    - Only 1 option for each vendor -- which makes sense & is completely fine when dealing with decor, or music. Doesn't make so much sense with photography or video?
    - Kept pushing me to use his stationary vendor after several convos back and forth, stating it would be very hard to find a better deal elsewhere, rather than figuring out a cheaper route for me + getting my much wanted photo booth instead. 1400 for 70 save the dates, 70 invites, 90 place cards, 90 menus, 45 ceremony. This vendor was also very LATE. Emailed them in March , got a mockup late MAY, for a destination wedding in November. Also approved "day of" stationary the night before my flight.

    Inflexible

    While I could go into the nuances of "he said, she said" the bottom line is that due to COVID the wedding was changed from a large soiree to a backyard wedding of the same date (fraction of the original size). We canceled Brian Green's contract (which was only for services the last two months before the 3/21 wedding) 8 months ahead of time. Brian Green, despite having had to do little more than answer a few emails regarding the initial contract, refused to refund any of the deposit. While I fully understand the contract is legally binding, his unwillingness to compromise in these tough times came off as greedy, particularly in lieu of his assertions that his business remained brisk. We have since contracted with others, including a lovely planner, all of whom we discussed the loss of prior deposits were aghast at a competitor's unwillingness to refund any monies. While we were willing to contract with Brian Green, despite his exorbitant prices, we were ill prepared for such an uncaring end. Such a disappointment from someone that acts like they care.
