The Best decision EVER!
Wedding planning is so stressful, is all I heard when I got engaged. Me, being me said "How hard can it be, you're just planning a big party, right"? Boooy was I wrong. Hiring MzFabo and her team was a life saver to say the least. I cannot Thank them enough for my AMAZING wedding, and the Design Concierge team is like no other. They went well above my expectations. Husband Approved! Lol
My planner, My planner, My planner! Lol MzFabo is Everything. First off let me tell you my (now) husband (yaaayyy) is not the easiest to convince, so when MzFabo and her team convinced him at the consultation meeting and won him over to book, hell I was impressed. Only because he is so hard to sway his made up decision and he was dead set on not spending the extra money to hire a planner. I knew then we had came to the right place, lol MzFabo, I just love her energy and willingness to make it all happen. Oh and I love her name, ask her the backstory of how her clients gave her the name “MzFabo”, very inspiring. My husband as well as I was so impressed that he asked me to set up a dinner once we got back from our honeymoon with MzFabo and her FWE team to show our appreciation and Thanks once again. Our Jan 6, 2024 wedding was Amazing, if I didn’t love my husband so much I would do it all over again (just kidding babe, in case he sees this) lol.My planner, My planner, My planner! Oh gosh, where do I began…I, by this time had previously met with 6 planners and she still wasn’t quite feeling that “Umph, yes this is the one” yet. After continuing my search, I came across FWE site and Amazing photos. I booked a complimentary consultation (loved that), and was blown away by the hospitality that I received at our meeting. I mean they just catered to me and was all ears and chiming in with all my crazy ideas no matter how bizarre they sounded (I loved that). Safe to say, I booked with them instantly, I just felt safe. From start to finish, when they say just sit back and sip champagne and taste cake that’s exactly all I needed to do (I loved that). My wedding was astonishingly beautiful. I cannot tell you how many times I heard that and was asked for Shawnda and her FWE team contact info. I am forever grateful, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Wedding Day
Shawnda and her crew did a really good job. My wedding party was really impressed they kept telling me how my wedding planner was good at her job. But to set the day off, Shawnda's Fiance went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were good, he even danced and had a good time with us. So being the super type A person that I am, I thought that I could plan my wedding entirely by myself... well about 2 months before the big day, I accepted a new role at work that required me to travel every single week across country. Obviously this made it tremendously hard to finish planning the most important details of my big day, but Shawnda and her team did an amazing job of making me feel at ease, contacting all my vendors to schedule meetings and conference calls, setting up and picking up all the decorations that my mom and I purchased and really taking our wedding to the next level. Shawnda personally was by my side giving me water and fanning me as I danced the night away with my friends and family. They handled any little mishap so that I didn’t have to worry about it, kept us on schedule the day of and I seriously felt like the most special bride in the world... my only mistake was not hiring her sooner! An Exquisite Experience to say the least...
Let me just say I am not the most pleasurable person to work with only because I am a Perfectionist! Lol However, when I say MzFabo never took any of my bridezilla moments personal, her and her staff stay professional throughout the entire year of planning. I must say when they say “If you can dream it they will make it happen!” That is an understatement not only did they bring my dream to life but MzFabo added little personal touches that I didn’t even think of that tied my wedding together phenomenal. I am a forever client and all my friends and family was amazed, I think the staff may have ran out of business cards, lol. Fabulous Weddings/ Events is the perfect name. Working with the owner was a pleasure because she is confident in her decisions, event planning knowledgeable and extremely efficient and professional. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The owner is a visionary who can transform any space. With every detail provided, Fabulous Weddings and Events turned the recreation center to an elegant venue. I LOVED the services provided. Where do I start?! Teshawnda and her amazing team did a great job. There were weeks upon weeks of planning (as any wedding). Teshawnda had quick and immediate response times. Even when I thought there were something’s that my wife or I needed to plan on our own, she was there pulling vendors, costs, different options, phone numbers, and anything else someone would need. It would be times I would even email her at night, and I would get a response in minutes via email. She was on top of her game.
As for the wedding, that's when their true colors showed. They were awesome once again! I could tell this is not the first time they planned a wedding. The wedding experience was perfect and they played a part of that. Teshawnda and her team were behind the scenes and prevented many possible mishaps from happening. After my wife and I watched our wedding video, we saw how her team was doing things behind the scenes that we never would have thought to do.
Teshawnda and her team were very professional. She was never rude, pushy, or mean. She was always there for us when we needed it and was more of a friend helping plan a wedding than a hired wedding planner. She catered to our schedule and was there whenever we needed her.
I honestly believe Teshawnda loves what she does and is very passionate about her business. The cost was very affordable and the service provided was much more valuable than we paid. Thank you Teshawnda and I hope anyone reading this will consider her for your wedding. It’s definitely worth it.

I let her pick out my dress, shoes, decor for the ceremony and reception, the DJ, and the cake. I just paid her for everything. Teshawnda Herbert and her staff did a superb job with the decor in our church dining hall as we celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Our guests were in such amazement.
