  Overall experience with faces by Mel was amazing. Her prices are reasonable and not crazy over the top expensive

  Melissa is so sweet! I’m so grateful she did my makeup/hair services last minute! I was having a hard time finding someone I wanted for my wedding and glad I picked her! :)

  Melissa did an AMAZING job on the make up for my bridesmaids, mom and I! Everyone looks absolutely stunning. I received compliments on my make up all night - plus it stayed on my face through the early morning hours waaaay after the wedding. Mel made sure to ask about our wedding theme, colors and bridesmaid dresses, so my makeup with fit perfectly.
  
  Also, Mel is extremely flexiable! I was very last minute in my request for a makeup artist and she was so responsive and willing to help. Originally, we agreed to just do my mom's make up and myself but teh day of, we added a bridesmaid plus some bridesmaid lashes. She was very accomidating and everything turned out perfect in the end.

  Melissa was amazing and so great to work with! I wish I could have her do my makeup every day. She made me, my mom, and all my bridesmaids look beautiful and flawless. She is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing talent for what she does! It is obvious she has done this for years and knows how to give you the exact look you want with just showing her a picture ! She’s very professional, knowledgable, and easy to be around and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Melissa!

  Melissa has done my makeup for a few different occasions and every time she out does herself. I can't say enough about her talent, let alone her professionalism and charismatic personality. She has a way of calming you down even in the most stressful of situations, which makes for the best pictures. I would recommend her to anyone.

  Melissa has the perfect and gentle touch. Never have I felt more comfortable with anyone touching my face. She made me look absolutely gorgeous and did it so kindly! You would not be disappointed!

  I have used Mel many times over the years. She has done my make up for graduation parties, special events, when I was a bridesmaid, and even for my own wedding. I wish I had more excuses for her to do my makeup! Not only is she great at what she does, but she is very easy to work with.

  Melissa is not only amazingly talented with makeup, but quite the professional! She did a flawless job with my makeup for my daughters wedding, and she did just as great on my daughters makeup too! She's also done my daughters makeup for previous special occasions and my daughter was always very happy with the result. She is a must have for your special events! I definitely recommend her!

  I 100% recommend Mel for any occasion makeup! She has done my makeup on several occasions, including my wedding and a photo shoot. She also did my bridesmaids and my Mom for my wedding. Mel uses quality products and her work shows so beautifully in photographs. She is not only a talented and professional, but she is super sweet and wonderful to work with.

  Melissa did a wonderful job on the makeup for my wedding day. She worked on my sister, my mom, my mother-in-law, and me. She was very receptive to any changes we wanted to make and remained extremely patient. Before she left, she touched everyone up and made any last minute changes required. My makeup looked beautiful and it held up even though it was 94 degrees outside and I was wearing a long gown with sleeves through the outdoor ceremony and outdoor portraits. The only teeny, tiny concern I have is regarding the hair stylist that was working with Melissa. Through no fault of Melissa's, the hair stylist arrived quite late, but at least she brought a second stylist with her so we were still done on time. She didn't quite style my hair the way I had requested, but I adored my hair style nonetheless, and it, too, held up through the heat and humidity. I highly recommend Faces by Mel for any special event.

  We had a great experience with Melissa as our makeup artist. We had a makeup trial and she was punctual, efficient, and very responsive to my vision. The makeup turned out even better on the day of the wedding and I received a lot of compliments on how good I looked, both live and in pictures. She was so fantastic that after doing two members of the bridal party, the other members (who NEVER let people touch their face), asked her to do their makeup as well. The only suggestion I would have is that if you book hair through her, firm up the time of the hairstylist. Due to what seemed like a miscommunication, the hairstylist booked another event the same day and ended up coming at 7:30am for a 4pm wedding. Despite this, it was overall a positive experience and I would highly recommend Melissa's services.
