  Amazing location!!

  I had my wedding ceremony at the bailey palms and it was amazing. Lori helped me all throughout the way up until the wedding ended! So thank you Lori! For your kindness!

  Beautiful Location

  Fairchild is a wonderful place for an outdoor wedding. Our wedding planner worked with Fairchild’s event coordinator and everything ran smoothly. This is the best place for a garden wedding in South Florida because it has various scenic locations for gorgeous photos.

  Fairchild Garden is the Dream Backdrop for Your Special Day

  The photos, video, and memories shared were made all the more magical by being at the beautiful tropical botanic garden! We had an outdoor wedding ceremony in the Bailey Palm Glade, and then an indoor reception at their McQuillan Arts Center. Our guests were treated to a tram ride through the garden as we took our photos after the ceremony. The cocktail hour was in a gorgeous outdoor courtyard in front of the Arts Center. Everything was spot on spectacular and it wouldn't have been possible without the amazing team at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Book this location - you'll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful venue with a top-notch professional team in South Florida!

The location is truly magical and took our breath away. Our guests could not stop raving about it. They also provided us with extra service such as shuttling us and our photographer around the grounds for photos, allowing my dog to be in the ceremony, and making it easy to have a rehearsal. It was truly a dream to have our wedding there.

  We had our wedding ceremony at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in Coral Gables, Florida and it was simply GORGEOUS!! The event coordinator at the Fairchild, Anna B. was a sweetheart! She returned all my emails and phone calls. She was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure our day was very special!

  Fairchild is a perfect place to get married as it gives you a beautiful setting but also an indoor and outdoor options. I was so lucky to have good weather too. And my pictures turned out fabulous -- it helps to have a gorgeous place. Chihuly was just the cherry on top!

  The grounds of Fairchild are BEAUTIFUL. I had dreamed with a Fairchild wedding since I was a teenager. When the time finally came for me to pick a wedding location, I hardly looked anywhere else. I had fallen in love with the Bailey Palm Glade area of the garden. This is a spot many, many couples choose for their ceremony. We signed papers for the location a year in advance. 7 months before my wedding, however, the gardens installed a Chihuly art piece at my ceremony location. We wouldn't find out about this until 4 WEEKS before my wedding. They took out all the grass, removed the flowers and plants, and installed the large, bright blue, glass spikes all over the sides of the aisle, with a very large ball of blue spikes in the back. The entire location didn't look at all how it has looked when I booked it. Additionally, the spikes were positioned in such a way that our guests would not be able to see the ceremony, and they overpowered the look of the ceremony. We wanted a GARDEN wedding, not a desert-and-glass wedding. Even though they had known about the installation for months, they conveniently didn't inform us. In fact, we just happened to find out because we did our food tasting at the garden 4 weeks prior to the wedding. I was shocked and dismayed. Had I known about this with enough time, I would've changed venues entirely. With only 4 weeks to go, and invitations already sent out, we had no choice but to choose a "second best" option within the gardens. Finding a location that did not have any Chihuly pieces in it was incredibly difficult. We did eventually settle on a shaded area surrounded by ficus trees. Fairchild did give us a "discount," but it by no means makes up for the stress, disappointment, and sadness I experienced just weeks before my special day. The wedding turned out beautiful because I had a phenomenal decor and catering company that would be able to make any location look spectacular... but beware going into a contract with Fairchild!

  We loved having our wedding at Fairchild. The space is really beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The rental only includes the space - gorgeous outdoor ceremony sites and great indoor space for meals and dancing. The cost is pricey, but truthfully worth it because the setting is so great. You can rent tables and chairs from the venue, but otherwise you have to work with outside vendors for everything else. If we were rating just the location I would give it all 5s. But the service of the event staff left a lot to be desired. We planned our wedding in 7 months and in that time our point of contact at the venue turned over 3 times. And with each person we had to "re-approve" anything we had covered with the person before. Each person we worked with was nice, but none were good with follow-through. If they needed something from us they were quick to ask for it, but we often had to reach out several times before getting a reply to our questions. On three separate occasions we provided them with information they needed (ie - vendor contacts) but our emails were overlooked and then we received requests from them saying we had missed their deadline. It was frustrating and disappointing. We had our own wedding planner who handled a lot of the issues and without them the challenges with the venue coordinator would probably have been even more frustrating. They provide an event person during the day for set-up and for a few hours in to the event. The day-of support was good but didn't make-up for the poor customer service earlier on. I still recommend the venue because the location is amazing, but it's important to know the challenges you might experience working with the venue.
