After searching high and low for a venue in Orange County, none of the hotels were able to accommodate simple requests that I had. Some hotels weren't able to guarantee us an exact room until a month before because they wanted to see whether a bigger wedding would book our date and would prioritize the bigger wedding over mine. Fairmont Grand bent over backwards to fulfill every idea and request I had. It was an absolute dream to work with the Fairmont, especially Victoria, who coordinates the weddings there. They were flexible with costs, set up, providing tables, stands, event rooms, signs to direct guests, dietary restrictions for all our guests, literally everything. Something unique about this hotel that no others do, is they made our reception food to order. We didn't have to give our food orders ahead of time. The servers came out and took each person's order. It was so classy. When I toured the hotel, I came across a beautiful garden courtyard and immediately knew that was the spot I wanted to get married in. It would be the garden wedding of my dreams. I had zero expectation that the hotel would actually allow me to do a wedding in that area given that it's surrounded by hotel rooms and doesn't appear to be a wedding spot. However, Victoria agreed!!!! They don't normally do ceremonies there but they accommodated my request. The service at the hotel is unparalleled. They even allowed me to throw a Welcome event in their Library Lounge in the front of the hotel. The hotel already had live music that night so it was amazing for our guests. I am SO grateful I picked this hotel. My guests commented over how stunning the hotel grounds were and my photographers said it was the most beautiful spot they ever shot at. Originally, we booked the wine rooms, which is affordable. However, Victoria upgraded up to the Manchester Suite at no cost because our wedding was the only one booked for that day. My wedding was on July 13th and the wedding was perfect. We even had a pool party the day after the wedding and again, the hotel staff bent over backwards and allowed us to bring tacos. When I got back to our hotel room, they had Veuve, chocolate covered strawberries, two pieces of our wedding cake, and a card waiting for us. The hotel is a class act and I cannot thank them enough for making my dreams come true. It was worth every single penny and the only hotel I looked at that didn't brush me off or make me feel like they were doing me a favor. THANK YOU VICTORIA AND YOUR AMAZING TEAM!!!!! -

Romantic Wedding Venue
Let me just say that Fairmont Grand del Mar is breathe taking.
I am so happy to have my dream wedding at this hotel.
I had a big Persian wedding, and all my guests we telling me how beautiful the venue was.
It was a perfect setting for my wedding and I did not regret choosing it one bit.
The best part was that they only do one wedding per day, so you're not sharing this venue with other brides.
It's so intimate and is truly a hidden gem.
I am from OC, so I wanted a venue that was different, and coming from an architectural background (both my husband and I), we did not regret picking this place.
Paige to every staff were honestly professional.
We had our sofreh at the Aria lawn with the beautiful backdrop of the lush hills and architectural arcade, and our ceremony at the Elizabeth Capella.
The reception space was truly beautiful that we didn't have to over decorate the space.
I am so HAPPY that I chose Fairmont Grand del Mar. This venue has so much class. -
