  Gorgeous Cake & Gorgeous People

  Our experience with Farina has been absolutely lovely! From our pre-pandemic plans to our downsized wedding during the pandemic, they have been a joy to work with from start to finish. Their wedding cakes are beautiful, delicious (their pink champagne and vanilla buttercream combo is magical!), and their aesthetic is beautiful. We now also go to Farina for all of our birthday cake needs. Highly recommend!

  Wonderful!

  I didn't know which cake to have for our wedding. There were way too many delicious flavors but we managed to narrow them down to 2 favorites. We had the blueberry buttercream chocolate cake and the strawberry buttercream chocolate cake. Both were delicious! We ended up with a lot of leftovers, which worked out for us since there were some of our friends and family that were unable to attend. And we had enough to save for our anniversary! Both were 12 inch cakes (I underestimated the actual size of the cake) well worth the price! Farina Bakery, you are awesome! Keep it up! I will definitely recommend to everyone I can!

  So easy and sweet

  Such a great experience from being to end. The tasting was fun and easy. They even made frosting for us last minute. The. Cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Everyone loved it.

  Most delicious red velvet, and wonderful team!

  We loved meeting with Farina and creating our cake. They have THE MOST delicious red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and their other flavors are just as impeccable, I'm just a sucker and a high critic of red velvet. They took our Pinterest photo inspo for the decoration and brought it to life flawlessly. We went with three different flavors in tiers and our guests said every flavor was amazing. They are extremely affordable and professional. Amazing bakery!

  Absolute Art (& tastes good too!)

  Thank GOODNESS we found Farina’s Bakery for our wedding! Not only were our cake and macaroons beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious! You can tell this company is not just about trends, they will seriously make you a good product. I wish we lived in Portland because I would always be stopping by!

  Yummy cake

  Laura and the rest of the crew at Farina Bakery were a delight to work with. We felt like we were chatting with a friend when we arrived for our tasting - Laura met with us and asked us what we thought about each cake/frosting/combination in between asking us questions to get to know us better. She was also super helpful with pricing - she was transparent and provided us with information that would help cut costs here and there, instead of focusing solely on making a profit. The cakes were delicious too - we ended up with three flavors (pink champagne cake + strawberry frosting, vanilla cake + buttercream, chocolate cake + vanilla frosting) and our guests loved the flavors (as did we)! Along with delivery, Laura also decorated our cake, and it looked beautiful :) Highly recommend.

  Laura is the most amazing human being on the planet! We met with her and planned out the most beautiful macaron display and two side cakes for our wedding. She was easy to talk to and she was eager to make our display as glorious as I had envisioned. The price was well within budget also. When we had an unexpected hiccup (2 actually) that made us have to bump up the wedding and replan just about everything, Laura and her team were extremely helpful and accommodating. We downsized our order, but still maintained the beauty we had planned. Everyone raved about the cake and macarons. There isn't a better baker in all of the Portland area. Highly recommend.

  Delicious and beautiful cake!

  Laura was so easy to work with. Being from Chicago we didn’t taste or have any in person meetings. Everything over email. Always answered emails promptly and delivered a delicious and beautiful cake. Highly recommend farina bakery!!

  Farina Bakery made us some ridiculously delicious macarons (my choice) and hand apple pies (my husband's choice) for our wedding. Our cake was absolutely beautiful, and we received lots of compliments on how yummy it was! Communication was easy, we received exactly what we were expecting, and Farina is so affordable!

We picked our flavors and colors and showed her a photo of what we wanted and that was it! The process was simple and fast and the results were phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for better, it was the main attraction at the wedding, besides the bride of course. Thank you so much Farina Bakery!!! We'll be back at your shop when we're craving sweets. :)

  We served Farina Bakery macarons for dessert at our rehearsal dinner. We had 64 guests plus a dozen kids and not a single macaron leftover! They were a HUGE hit - especially with the kids. They are delightful little treats and people loved the colors and various flavors.
  
  Farina Bakery also did our wedding cakes and they were delicious. Laura worked with us on flavors and vision and we decided to have five cakes of various sizes and different flavors. They tasted great and everyone raved about them! Also the decorative abilities of the bakery are incredible - the cakes looked awesome in photos :) I would recommend Laura and her crew at Farina Bakery to anyone looking for beautiful cakes and macarons that taste as good as they look!

  Laura made our cake and it was such a hit with our guests! We did 4 tiers with a different flavor for each tier and they were all incredibly delicious and dense. Be sure to visit her sweet little bakery on Hawthorne and try her amazing French macrons!
