  The best wedding decision we made.

  Selecting the Fashion Island Hotel as our wedding venue was the best wedding decision we made. We met Claire, the Catering Manager, early in our venue searching. After viewing about 15 viewing venues, and coming very close to signing a contract with a different venue, we ended up moving forward with the Fashion Island Hotel. The main reason was Claire's level of professionalism and exceptional service. She followed-up with me numerous times and was willing to work with us on various requests that we had. Many venues have added fees for simple requests, but Claire really worked with us to balance out costs.
  
  Through the 10 months of planning, Claire was a critical partner. She answered every question with a sense of urgency. She was flexible and willing to work with numerous opinions from our families. She was both knowledgeable and respectful our family's cultures and traditions.
  
  We met with Claire and her team for our food tasting about five months before the wedding. The entire catering staff was highly knowledgeable, extremely customer-oriented, and had mastered their craft. Candidly, we had a hard time making our food selections since everything was so wonderful. Ultimately, we selected the filet and the sea bass - both of which, our guests raved about. We also selected their champagne cake which was incredible!!
  
  As our wedding day was approaching, the team went above and beyond. The front desk helped us prioritize early check-ins and room upgrades for our VIPs. Our honeymoon suite was exceptional. Our rooms for getting ready with the wedding party were fabulous. Note, almost every other venue that we viewed only included a room for the bridal party (if that), and we would have needed to purchase a separate room for the groom and groomsmen. Additionally, our rooms for getting ready was massive - perfect for hair/makeup, etc. and had the best view of Newport!
  Every detail on the day of was virtually perfect. All of our vendors liked working with the team. The wait staff was highly professional and we had no issues with any of the staff the entire day.
  
  I can't say enough good things about our experience! From what I have heard, many venues promise the world, and don't deliver on much, especially once you sign a contract. I can honestly say that was not the case with the Fashion Island Hotel. THANK YOU!

  This weekend we had the wedding of the century (in our eyes) here for our daughter and her wonderful husband. From the first meeting with the event coordinator and the service coordinator we knew this was the venue. What a gorgeous hotel. Tons of photo opportunity areas for the bridal pictures. My daughter's only request was beautiful Chandeliers and this they had. The ceremony area was beautiful, heaters for our winter outdoor ceremony. The ballroom was beautiful. The staff from the valet to the bellmen to the restaurant staff.. All amazing. The coordinator Kelly was amazing to work with. Yes I'm sure she is glad she won't be getting 80'emails a day but not once did she ever complain. So helpful. And Lauren who worked on all our room blocks and getting our guests rooms, thank you for all your help. This Hotel is gorgeous. First class. Thank you for everything. The FOOD was amazing (no dried out chicken) and people are still talking about it. The bakery chef made the wedding cake which not only was gorgeous but so so yummy!! So to all the brides looking for a venue, come to the Island Hotel. Fabulous people!

  We recently had our wedding at the Island Hotel and I have to say the entire staff made our entire planning process so seamless and perfect! We specifically worked with Deanna Jones and she is amazing! She is extremely easy to work with, paid special attention to all details and worked with us on all our needs and our budget. She went out of her way and spent so much time to ensure everything on our special day was perfect.
  The staff and service at the Island Hotel was flawless and we could not have imagined our wedding day anywhere else! Everyone is extremely kind, friendly, helpful and overall a pleasure to work with.
  
  We will miss our weekly phone conversations with Deanna and recommend Island for anyone who is venue shopping for their upcoming wedding/event.

  We had a company hosted training session for our clients at the Island Hotel and could not have had a better experience. The staff were warm and welcoming and very observant to our needs and wants. They knew what we needed before we even asked, which is very much appreciated when you have clients of your own to think about and make happy.
  
  I would suggest using the hotel for any event/party/meeting that you need space because this venue is perfect!

  The Cabana room is perfect for a ceremony and reception all in one location!!! Very convenient and couldn't ask for a prettier setting!

  The food was EXCELLENT. For the rehearsal dinner I asked for “comfort” food so my bridal party can relax and just enjoy themselves… everyone raved about Island Hotel’s star Truffled Mac n Cheese.. I mean, it is to die for! The chili was amazing and the burgers were juicy and mouth watering! I had zero complaints from my “foodie” friends… For the reception we had the sea bass and beef duet with side salad & mushrooms… again, it was delicious! All of my guests were going on about how it was the “BEST banquet food”. My guests are not easily impressed by good b/c they are picky eaters.. especially on my husband’s side of the family… My cake was not only delectable, but beautiful as well! I gave the pastry chef a photo of the design and he nailed it! You will NOT have any complaints with the food at Island Hotel.
  
  Service… you can’t go wrong with service.. they will bend over backwards for you. Not just me and my husband, but our entire bridal party & guests were treated like kings and queens… my guests were telling me how amazing the costumer service were and how floored they were by the attentiveness. One thing I was worried about was the wait time for people getting their food and then clearing and cleaning up for the next plate… I didn’t want there to be a lag between dishes… the staff was extremely speedy serving 200 guests… they were quick … they were quick with serving and clearing and setting up the next plate. Administratively, it was a prompt and brilliant execution.
  
  I was very hesitant about having our wedding but I’m so happy we booked with the Island Hotel and if I had to do it all over again, I would again book the Island Hotel. The main thing I wanted was to somehow make the ceremony room and reception banquet room to not look like a hotel but instead a beautiful elegant ballroom… Island Hotel accomplished this..
