My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Figge Art Museum and have nothing but praise for Dave, Dave and all their staff. They worked beautifully with the other vendors we hired, set up and tore down everything for my family, leaving only the loading of the decorations into the vehicles for us. The food was AMAZING and they even prepared extra food for my husband and I to eat later on! Dave worked so well with us as we were planning this wedding from 200 miles away. He responded to emails and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride that is looking to have their reception in the Quad Cities. It was worth every penny we spent.

The Figge was the perfect place to have our wedding reception. They have a beautiful view and was a great location for our out of town guests. The David's were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and willing to accommodate any request we had. We would highly recommend this location for any special event.

My husband and I got married at the Figge Art Museum on 9/21/2013. We had both our ceremony and reception in the front reception area.

The venue was fabulous! Dave Mickelwright, the wedding & catering coordinator, and David Perkins, the day of coordinator, were both fantastic. I worked with them to do a special lighting arrangement (strings of cafe lights) that turned out beautifully. Both were very organized and it's clear they are professionals who have been doing this a long time. We also did the option of having the museum open for several hours during the reception, which our guests really enjoyed.

The food, through Thunder Bay Grille, which does all the catering for Figge events, was fantastic. Our guests raved about how good it was. It was very easy to coordinate and easy to accommodate special dietary needs.

The Figge is a fantastic venue if you're looking for a beautiful, modern space that you can customize with decor. The outdoor patio overlooking the river was a great asset as well. We also loved that it was in easy walking distance to two hotels, bars, restaurants, and the Freight House Farmer's market. Made it easy for our guests from out of town to have lots of fun things to do and not have to rent cars!

The Figge is a beautiful rental space. Unfortunately, due to the experience I had with the staff and the lack of communication throughout the process, I cannot recommend the Figge. Don't settle for anything less than 5 star service for your big day!

Had a disappointing experience with using the Figge as my wedding reception venue. A month before my wedding day I received a phone call letting me know that the executive chef and wedding coordinator that I had been working with had unexpectedly resigned. Then I received messages telling me that they did not have any of our contracts or payment on record. It ended up getting worked out but the entire situation was bizarre and poorly handled. At the reception, they forgot to provide toasting flutes and champagne for the wedding party - awkward. Guests had to give up their champagne to us because they seemed indifferent to the situation as though it was the wedding parties fault. Some tables were served dinner at 8:30 as planned while others did not receive their entrees until after 10PM - completely unacceptable. They forgot bread and butter on some tables as well. While the venue is beautiful - I would not recommend the Figge to other brides after my experience.
