Best DJ Experience!

It was a pleasure working with Megan and the Fig Media Team. She was fun to work with in the wedding planning process and was very helpful in assisting us with music selections and a general schedule for the evening. The music at the wedding couldn't have been better, providing a great variety, which kept all ages on the dance floor for the whole night. Megan does a great job reading the room and brings a lot of energy to create the best vibes possible. Many guests were raving to us about the DJ the next day. We would definitely recommend Megan and the Fig Team at any future event!

Great Job!

Very responsive throughout the planning process and did a nice job on wedding day! Followed through with my song list requests for each activity. Brent also was able to show up to my final venue walkthrough on short notice so I really appreciated that and it reflects great care and responsibility on the part of Fig! It was nice to work with a nice, trusting team!

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost gratitude and admiration for the incredible DJ services provided by Marcus at our recent wedding.

From the moment we first met Marcus, it was clear that we were working with a true professional. He not only listened attentively to our musical preferences but also offered valuable suggestions to create the perfect ambiance for our special day.

Best DJs in Chicago!

If you want curated vibes rather than a traditional "wedding DJ" plus incredible customer service, go with Fig! The entire team, including Michele, Brent, and Mukta, are a dream to work with and made everything super easy. Our DJ Betty absolutely killed it as an MC and with the music selections. She incorporated the small playlist and must-play songs we provided along with some real crowd-pleasers. We had way more guests out on the dance floor than we expected, while keeping the volume manageable enough for our family and friends to continue their conversations throughout the whole reception. Definitely recommend!

Exceptionally Memorable!!!

Hire this team!! Fig Media was a delight to work with and made our evening wedding just as magical as we imagined. We would hire this team 100X over. We wanted a fun, energetic, yet intimate "party" for our wedding guests for our indoor/outdoor reception. Little did we realize in the beginning of our wedding planning, the DJ is the MOST important vendor of the event! We didn't give Brent much direction on our music choices, we just provided a short list of songs were enjoy and described the atmosphere/energy we were looking for. He made our night exceptionally memorable by reading the room, and keeping our guests dancing the night away!

Megan Taylor - Simply the Best

Megan Taylor is simply the best DJ in Chicago, and Fig Media were a joy to work with. We were lucky enough to book Megan for our wedding, and although she is more expensive than your average DJ, she is worth every penny. She provided such great energy for the event and kept the dance floor packed all night. Since the wedding, everyone - from our grandparents to our friends - have been raving about how great she was. Not to mention the saxophone accompaniment that she recommended, who played over the top of her music and provided an energy boost for an hour in the middle of the night. Our special day truly would not have been the same without her.

Hire brent rolland

BRENT WAS AMAZING! He kept the party going all night long. The dance floor was packed from start too finish and we received so many compliments - even at other weddings where the guest overlapped! One of our friends even hired him at the end of our reception. Brent is incredible!

As thorough of a party as you can have

Working with Brent and Fig Media was one of the best parts of the wedding process. The team was prompt from the start, open to our suggestions, and had guests asking for the wedding playlist days after the wedding. Highly recommend working with the team if music and a rocking dance floor vibe is important to you.

The Perfect Wedding DJ

I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Brent and the Fig Media team! From the very beginning of our search for the perfect wedding DJ Brent was amazing to work with. We met with him initially via zoom and could tell instantly that his bubbly, caring and energetic personality was what we were looking for in a DJ. He truly cared about our story and what our wedding vision was and that came to life on our big day. From start to finish Brent brought all the perfect vibes that we were looking for through out cocktail and into the reception/dance party. From the first song to the very last we didn’t leave the dance floor once and neither did our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are forever grateful we had Brent and the Fig Media team as a part of our big day! Thank you!! ❤️

The best wedding DJ

We loved our experience with Fig Media for our wedding DJ. Brent did an amazing job. He was very thoughtful and thorough in the meetings leading up to our wedding to ensure we were on the same page and he understood the vibe we were aiming for. He listened to everything we expressed and executed the evening perfectly. He made the reception run smoothly, we didn’t have anything to worry about that evening. Our dance floor was lit the entire evening and we received so many compliments from our guests regarding the DJ and music. We 100% recommend going with Fig for your wedding DJ.

DJ Megan Taylor from Fig Media

DJ Megan Taylor was the most AMAZING DJ that we had the pleasure of having for our reception in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. She brought such amazing energy and kept everyone dancing until 2AM. I cannot imagine a better vibe and dance floor. She kept everyone engaged and had music spanning the age range of our guests, which was 18 all the way to 93.

Amazing experience with Fig Media

Fig Media (specially Brian Carey our photographer) did an amazing job shooting engagement photos and our wedding. It was such an easy experience working with Brian and Fig Media.

Fig was amazing!

Amazing!! The Fig team across the board, but especially Brent and Alvin, were AMAZING to work with! From start to finish, they were communicative and caring - they truly wanted to make our wedding as special as possible. We were probably their most annoying clients - we knew what we didn't want to hear but not exactly what we did want to hear and they did such a great job. They worked with us to make our ceremony music work - they had helpful suggestions that weren't in a way pushy and we loved them. The night of, Alvin listened to me and my husband when we wanted to hear certain things and really prioritized what we'd asked for. We are both so grateful we chose to go with Fig!! 10 out of 10, 12 starts, would absolutely recommend going with Fig for any event!

Highly recommend Fig!

A DJ often makes or breaks a wedding reception. Our experience with Fig and Brent as our DJ helped make our day even more special. Brent is a true mixture of professional and personable. Working with him every step of the way provided an amazing experience. He listened to our input and made great suggestions during the entire process. We were the first wedding ever in our venue (Ford Hangar in Lansing, IL). As it is an extremely large, open space, Brent utilized his expertise to ensure we would have no issues and the best sound quality. He accommodated a non-traditional request, working with a friend who performed our first dance song. He also did an amazing job reading our crowd and keeping the party going all night. We highly recommend Brent and Fig!

Perfectly matched our vibe

We decided to go with Fig after seeing that they were tagged in an Instagram post for another wedding held at our venue. We met with Brent and he was delightful to talk to, he was very personable and genuine, it was an easy choice to go with Fig.

Chris was our DJ day of -- we got lots of compliments on the music and folks have already reached out to us to ask who our DJ was. Chris did a great job reading the vibe of the room ESPECIALLY during the Mother/Son and Father/Daughter dances. Chris must have heard me and my dad saying "wow this is a very long song" as we entered into the third minute of awkwardly dancing in front of a room of people because he faded it out perfectly and you couldn't even tell that wasn't where it was supposed to end. Would definitely recommend Fig.

11/10 Experience

Fig did the photography and videography for my wedding in September 2022, and we couldn’t recommend the team more. Specifically, we worked with the dynamite, dynamic duo James and Brian.
Pros:
- They are incredibly talented. They captured every moment with artistry beyond what we could’ve hoped for.
- They invest in you. They meet with you before shooting your event and make sure you’re a good fit before even agreeing to work with you. Then, they meet with you to talk about your vision, what you like and dislike. Personally, I’m not very artsy, and so having James’ expertise in helping to provide direction was incredibly comforting. James was always available for questions, etc. He went back and forth with me on engagement outfits and picked us up in his car to take us on our “engagement experience photoshoot”. You will feel like a priority to them, not just another client. They also will make sure they know about your traditions to perfectly capture the special moments. For example, we’re Jewish, so it was important for us to have a team that understood all the parts of traditional jewish ceremonies to make sure they knew where to be and when. This allowed the day-of to go so smoothly.
- They are the perfect balance of get-shit-done and flexibility on wedding day. I didn’t realize until the event how many competing voices start to arise. Jame and Brian made sure to get all the pictures we talked about beforehand and then also took requests from others. They even pulled us aside for a solo picture shoot during part of the dancing and we got photos that we’re in love with!
- They are professional. They showed up on time and ready and were professional (yet themselves, which you’ll love) through the whole day. Caveat to this is that I didn’t deal with any of the scheduling/coordination, since we had a wedding planner who was great and worked with them in the past. Also, plug for Joyce’s Events…Joyce Feuer was the best wedding planner and has done many events with Fig!
- They don’t work by the books. They won’t say you have X-hr event and when X hours is up, we’re out. I don’t even remember our exact contract time, but they showed up during getting ready when we needed them, and when the wedding was dying down, they said hey we got it all, we’re gonna leave. For the engagement shoot, same thing. This could be a pro or a con, depending on your personality. I am type A, so at first, I was worried about how unstructured this felt, but it ended up being way better than the alternative. I wasn’t worried about hitting a time, and having the crew leave on us. I felt like they were part of the family and dedicated to capturing our day perfectly, so if they felt they were done, I trusted that. It ended up working out perfectly.
Cons:
- They are artists, so they need time to do their thing and for you (or your wedding planner) to be organized. Our wedding was the second week of September, and we started to get photos back at the beginning of August. We got the rest at the end of November and are doing a gallery review with them in December. We’re expecting to get the video back soon too, but we haven’t yet. I don’t think this timing is unreasonable, but if you’re someone who values fast turnaround time, you may want to have that conversation with them ahead of booking. They will be honest and real with what they can/cannot do. That’s truly the only “con” I can come up with.

Hands down our best wedding vendor

Could not have had a better experience for our wedding than we did with Fig Media and our DJ, Brent. From inquiry to the party itself he was so organized, understanding, and truly brought something extra to our big day! The team is proactive and really wants to get to know the couple and what they are looking for and then executes perfectly. He even DJ'd our morning ceremony and nailed our Indian/Western fusion needs. You know it's a good DJ when multiple people text you afterwards asking for the playlist (which Brent of course sent us a day after our wedding!)!

My favorite vendor! Brent is the best DJ

Brent was the DJ for our wedding and he was the most wonderful person to work with. Not only did he capture our vision for the musical backdrop of our brunch wedding, he really took the time to get to know my husband and I to create the right energy for our wedding. Brent Rolland is a Superstar!

We worked with Brent Rolland who was our wedding DJ. He was so professional and responsive to our constantly changing needs. And the atmosphere he created for our dance floor was legendary. Our wedding planner came up to us and said it’s rare to see a dance floor as popping as ours was and that was all Brent absolutely vibing with the crowd and knowing what to play next to keep everyone on the floor.

Amazing dj!

Fig Media was great to work with in terms of coordinating the logistics and payment for the DJ we selected. Our DJ, Megan Taylor, is also AMAZING. I can't tell you how many compliments we have received from our wedding guests about her - she truly stole the show. We practically had to drag people off the dance floor at the end of the reception!!

Best wedding DJ in Chicagoland !!!

Pretty quickly after we spoke to Brent for the first time we knew selecting the DJ for our wedding was going to be even easier than we had imagined. Whereas other DJs we had talked to focused on what they were able to bring to the table, Brent had a different approach in wanting to get to know us first, and what we had envisioned for our wedding. Brent has a warmth and empathy about him that makes bringing that vision to life that much easier.

During the planning process Brent was very responsive and provided a lot of advice on everything aspect of the wedding - many of which we hadn’t realized involved his services. Every step of the way we had guidance on how to bring to life the day that we wanted to share with our friends and family. We couldn’t recommend Brent & Fig Media enough to anyone planning their wedding!!
