Dream Wedding Venue

Fireseed Catering truly went above and beyond for our wedding day. The communication was impeccable right from the start—Dave and Dawn were always prompt, clear, and incredibly organized, which put our minds at ease throughout the entire process.

Their dedication and passion for what they do were evident in every detail. The beautiful grounds of Fireseed provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. The food was INCREDIBLE, and we have had multiple people sharing how great it was. Dave and Dawn’s love for their craft shone through, adding a personal touch that made our day unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Dream Venue!!!

Fireseed Catering is an absolute dream venue and staff to work with! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more- the grounds are gorgeous (we heard it described as a 'fairytale' over and over), Dave is so responsive and helpful during planning, Anna and Dawn run the day-of perfectly, and the food was the best I've had at any wedding! It's amazing that you get the venue for the whole weekend too- it makes it so easy to decorate on Friday, have everything you need at the venue on Saturday (hair and makeup, photography, etc), and then clean up only your own items on Sunday. I can't recommend Fireseed enough!

The best part of our wedding!

WOW! I think I left a little piece of my heart at Fireseed after our wedding. This place and the atmosphere that Dave, Dawn, and their team create are truly special. If you're considering visiting, make the trip. If you're considering booking your wedding, do it now. I could ramble at length about everything I loved, but I'll try to organize it as a Top 10 (and honestly, there are more), in no particular order:

I could ramble at length about everything I loved, but I'll try to organize it as a Top 10 (and honestly, there are more), in no particular order:
1. People: The team at Fireseed is incredible. We primarily communicated with Dave until our wedding day, when Dawn took over as the most effective day-of coordinator I’ve ever seen in action. She was assisted by Anna, who was amazingly level-headed and efficient, and a great group of catering and bartending staff (Wendy took care of the head table and she was awesome!).
2. Preparation: Pouring rain? No worries, they have 150+ golf umbrellas, plus fancy umbrellas for the couple. No power for 14 hours before the wedding? They have two big generators. You didn't bring the right bucket for the sparklers? They have one.
3. Food: I am hoping I have friends get married at Fireseed just so I can go back as a guest to have their amazing food again. We got countless compliments on the food, and it wasn't just lip service--it's genuinely delicious.
4. PNW vibes: As two born-and-bred Washingtonians, we wanted our guests to experience everything we love about the PNW. I can't imagine a place that does this better than Fireseed.
5. Thoughtful touches: As one example, the Fireseed team laid out two of each appetizer and two of each drink for us in the bridal suite for a private moment after the ceremony, and it was such a thoughtful touch that created a special moment of stillness for my wife and me.
6. Responsiveness: In the weeks leading up to our wedding, we were sending nearly daily emails with questions, and Dave always responded quickly and cheerfully with the perfect amount of information to answer our question and calm our nerves.
7. Constant upgrades: Over the course of our long engagement and several postponements, we got to see several upgrades and additional features added to the Fireseed property, including a new patio and a corral for their adorable mini horses (which they bring out for photos)! If it wasn't clear already, they are not phoning it in--this place gets better by the year.
8. Grace during COVID: My wife and I had to postpone our wedding twice, and I know the Fireseed team was juggling many moving dates while forgoing a full year of revenue. Despite this, they graciously moved our date from 2020 to 2021 and then later in 2021 with no additional deposits needed, and they kept us updated on COVID protocols and requirements throughout the pandemic. I can only imagine their stress, and yet they never let that affect their interactions with couples, and instead they calmed our nerves about how things would work out.
9. Flawless execution: Everything went SO well. Like, shockingly well despite a power outage the night before, rain, and a pivot to an indoor ceremony. This was a testament to Fireseed. I never felt stressed once the wedding was underway because I knew we were in such capable hands.
10. Coordination: I loved having the rentals from CORT coordinated by Dave, as well as the catering in the same hands as the venue. It removed a layer of coordination from my task list, which was hugely helpful during wedding planning.
All in all, I cannot recommend Fireseed strongly enough. We are still glowing from the atmosphere they helped create on our wedding day.

The Perfect Venue

We had the best experience working with Fireseed. It is such a hidden gem! I feel like if all Seattleites knew this place existed, it would be booked for years out. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID by one year. Fireseed was so accommodating and was able to get us rescheduled right away with no added expense. Dave was so great at checking-in and handling all the small details related to planning, that it made it easier for us to coordinate and work through the process. We didn't even have to think of all of it and it helped the whole weekend feel less stressful. The food was amazing and anytime I mention the wedding to any of our guests, all they say is "that cake was amazing! can we get more?" The property itself was so so beautiful. We got so many amazing pictures, people on social media have been flabbergasted by how nice the property is and the pictures. There are lots of opportunities here. Finally, the price was so incredibly reasonable. While it is customized for the type of food you want, we felt really satisfied with the pricing. Would 100% recommend for everyone! Fireseed helped our dream wedding come true!

As the groom I did not expect to write a review. Dave and Dawn at Fireseed are amazing. When planning a wedding things can get stressful, Dave is calm, collected, super responsive and very helpful with any questions you might have. Dawn helped during the rehearsal and day of the wedding, she helped us look polished and stay organized without being overbearing. The FOOD is amazing, as a big food family we loved their cuisine. The venue is gorgeous. As a business owner myself I can't say enough about this venue and the couple that run it.

Perfect experience at Fireseed

Having our wedding at Fireseed was a truly incredible experience. We felt so cared for by Dawn and Dave and staff. The food was INCREDIBLE and they catered to some dietary restrictions with such ease. The venue was immaculate and the service was perfect. My husband and I left feeling like Dawn and Dave felt like part of our family after the event. I couldn't recommend this venue more.

The catering staff was unbelievably attentive. The venue was clean, cozy, and overall perfect. AND, to top it off we had the venue for 3 days, which is unheard of and it was a game changer (Friday for prep, set up and rehearsal; Saturday for the big day and tons of fun; Sunday for clean up!) So, I want to thank Dave and Dawn for helping us out and being so thoughtful and attentive venue hosts--we are so thankful!!

Fireseed is such a quintessential Pacific Northwest venue, and has a little bit of everything—beautiful, immaculately maintained gardens, an organic vegetable garden, a lake view, a forest area with large pine trees, and a tastefully decorated barn that does not feel like any other barn! The grounds alone would have been reason enough to have our wedding there, but then we learned that Dave and Dawn are Culinary Institute of America graduates, and make THE most delicious food in the universe. Throughout the year of planning, Dave and Dawn were incredibly responsive and helpful, and are endlessly knowledgeable about every single planning logistic you can think of. On our wedding day, things ran absolutely perfectly, despite the rain that fell and then stopped about 5 minutes before the ceremony. Dave and Dawn took the rain in stride (and had endless umbrellas for guests), and were respectful of our desire to have the ceremony outdoors, despite the downpour that was occurring when they asked us our preference. The food was some of the best we have EVER had, hands down, and it was wedding food for 150 people, to boot. The fried chicken (we opted for a Southern menu, as we are currently living in Tennessee) truly was to die for. The desserts, made by Dawn, were also incredible—so much so that on our 2-month anniversary we decided to buck tradition and have a slice of our wedding cake! We could go on and on with endless praise for Dave, Dawn, their food, their venue, and them as people. We would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to all of our friends, and to anyone wanting a quintessential Pacific Northwest wedding with grounds, food, and service guests will remember for the rest of their lives.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Fireseed Catering and Dawn and Dave. They are the gold standard of Pacific Northwest weddings and their professionalism and flawless execution made our wedding better than I could have ever imagined. Their venue is stunning (and affordable!), the food is to die for and the support we received was out of this world. Dawn and Dave made our wedding so special, I can't even imagine getting married somewhere else. Fantastic vendor, fantastic people.

We never felt rushed, and we had plenty of time to set everything up according to my vision. The space is so naturally beautiful that we could have had no decorations and been perfectly fine.

Dave and Dawn made sure that the day of the wedding flowed smoothly and naturally. Everything went off without a hitch, and we got nothing but rave reviews on the location! The venue set up allows for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour at the rustic outdoor bar, dinner and dancing in the barn, and plenty of trails and benches for guests to sit and wander. The rustic grounds are filled with trees and colorful flowers which were the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos.

Oh, and the food was AMAZING! The dinner was delicious, and the pies and Whidbey ice cream were to die for.

Suggestion: Don't forget to test the mic. It kept cutting in and out during our ceremony.

We have nothing but great things to say about Fireseed. Recommend it without any hesitations!

Most amazing location and staff!

Dave and Dawn are absolutely incredible to work with! Due to Covid, we changed our date … too many times. They were extremely helpful, flexible and understanding. I am so thankful we got to have our big day at Fireseed! Every detail was perfect and stress free. Our guests are still raving about the amazing food and cake! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but our day went so smoothly and nobody had to stress about any detail or timeline. I would absolutely recommend Fireseed to anybody! Staff was exceptional, food was incredible, scenery was stunning. Thank you endlessly, Dave and Dawn!

The barn where we held the reception is also gorgeous, and we really like that it had a separate lounge and bar area where our guests could sit and chat away from the dancing. I really cannot emphasize enough just how beautiful Fireseed is.
2. You will not find better food than at Fireseed. Dave and Dawn are professionally trained chefs, and everything from the passed hor d'oeuvres to pies were to die for. Most of the produce is grown locally on site, so everything is super fresh. Do not miss out on the ice cream sandwiches!
3. The staff provided outstanding service. Our day of coordinator Anna was so on top of every detail and made us feel so special. They took all of the stress out of the day so that we could just enjoy ourselves and take it all in.
4. Dave and Dawn! They are so easy and fun to work with. All of our vendors also love working with them and were very excited to be able to return for our wedding. They helped keep us organized and on track with planning and went out of their way accommodate last minute changes. We truly cannot thank them enough for helping us pull off a dream wedding we thought might never happen due to COVID.

Fireseed is a truly special place, and we are now on a mission to convince all of our friends to get married there so we have an excuse to go back!

Professionalism and Excellence

Our wedding at Fireseed was absolutely incredible, and I owe so much of it to the expertise of Dawn and Dave Noble, the owners and caterers. Dave handles most of the email communication leading up to the wedding, and he is so prompt with his replies. No matter how many questions I sent to him, I would have a response from him by the end of the day at the latest, and sometimes within the hour. It alleviated a lot of wedding stress to have Dave coordinate the party rentals, since I didn't really have any idea how many tables, glasses, plates, etc. to order for the amount of guests we had, whereas Dave has experience in this and knows how many to order.

At our tasting, despite having my parents there with me along with my fiancé, Dave spoke directly to me and made sure that the food was what I wanted, despite the other voices in the room. Initially, we thought we wanted to have a casual rehearsal dinner at one of the big houses we rented for the wedding party, but the owner of the house said we couldn't have more than 14 people on the property. When I mentioned this to Dave, he said, "Oh, I've catered an event at that house for 60 people before and know the owners! Let me talk to them and see if we can work something out." Sure enough, Dave emailed me a few days later and said that the house would make an exception for our rehearsal dinner! While we ultimately went another route and had our rehearsal dinner at a local restaurant, the fact that Dave was able to arrange that option for us shows how above and beyond he is willing to go for his clients.

Dawn is so on top of coordinating the rehearsal the day before, and the day of the wedding she is a force to be reckoned with (in the best way). She kept everything running super smoothly and was able to wrangle our large wedding party into listening and following instructions. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because I could trust Dawn to take care of any issues or answer any questions that came up.

Lastly, the food and service was incredible. Many people commented on how it was such a delicious meal, and many said that the cake was one of the best they had at a wedding. Dave was very flexible with creating the menu and was able to create my specific requests, and had plenty of suggestions of his own when I didn't know what to choose. The servers were kind and helped me have the best time at our wedding -- one saved me one of the specialty cocktails before they ran out so I could have a chance to enjoy one.

Overall, I contribute the smoothness of our wedding day pretty much all to Dave, Dawn, and the staff at Fireseed. Everything was wonderful and I can say it was the best day of my life. Thank you so much to them. I cant recommend Fireseed highly enough!

Look no further!!

My husband and I visited Fireseed and knew right away we wanted to book our summer wedding there. The gardens are stunning and extremely well maintained. Dave and Dawn(the owners) were great at keeping us on track and extremely responsive to all of our questions along the way. The vendor list they provided was also super helpful. Dave runs the kitchen and Dawn acts as day-of-coordinator and makes the desserts. The day went off seamlessly, Dawn had everyone in their places and was great to work with. Our guests raved about the food and the ice cream sandwiches, everyone is saying it's the best wedding food they have ever had. We can't recommend this place enough!

The Perfect Wedding

Fireseed is such a beautiful venue. We were greeted with kindness and respect the from the first visit all the way to the day after with clean up. Dave and Dawn are amazing at what they do! Their appetizers, dinner, and desserts were all our guests could talk about after the wedding, especially the ice cream sandwiches. Dave was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding and was always in communication with us. When it came to rehearsal, Dawn made sure we were prepared for both an outside and inside ceremony depending on weather. Fireseed is such a beautiful venue. We were greeted with kindness and respect the from the first visit all the way to the day after with clean up. Dave and Dawn are amazing at what they do! Their appetizers, dinner, and desserts were all our guests could talk about after the wedding, especially the ice cream sandwiches. Dave was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding and was always in communication with us. When it came to rehearsal, Dawn made sure we were prepared for both an outside and inside ceremony depending on weather. She made sure everyone knew exactly what to do, where to stand, what to say, etc. On the day of the wedding, Dawn was right there to make sure we stayed on time prior to the wedding and gave us warning times for when things were about to happen and directed us where to go at that time. Dave and Dawn really make you feel like part of their family, not to mention their staff are enjoyable and willing to go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We are so glad we had the opportunity to meet such amazing people and have the dream wedding we had hoped for. Thank you both for everything you do!

Magical dream

Fireseed is a wonderful gem and we had the best weekend of our lives. Dave was like our wedding guru who made the whole process smooth and calm. He is super responsive and attentive. On the day itself, Dawn steps in to ensure the event runs smoothly and the couple can relax and enjoy the experience. Wish we could do it again :)

We would recommend Fireseed to anyone!

Fireseed coordinated our rentals, servers, most of our set up and clean up, food and dessert! Dave and Dawn provided amazing recommendations when asked, but also made sure to emphasize that it was our day and we were free to make almost any decision we wanted. Having so many parts of our wedding coordinated by Fireseed allowed us not to have to worry about how things would come together—wedding planning is what they do all the time, and they are fabulous at it. We were completely stress-free on our wedding day thanks to Dave and Dawn. I can’t say enough positive things about them!

Perfect Venue

I cannot praise Fireseed Catering (Dave and Dawn) enough. From the amazing food and desserts, to the gorgeous gardens and mind-blowing flexibility, this could not be a better place to get married.

I don't even know where to begin so a few highlights:

Food: My husband has some very serious allergies, and a lot of minor ones, so this was an area of nervousness for us. Dave made sure we felt comfortable with all the food, even with the long list of foods to avoid. It was so fun being able to design our own menu, not picking from a set variation of a menu. I cannot praise Fireseed Catering (Dave and Dawn) enough. From the amazing food and desserts, to the gorgeous gardens and mind-blowing flexibility, this could not be a better place to get married.

I don't even know where to begin so a few highlights:

Food: My husband has some very serious allergies, and a lot of minor ones, so this was an area of nervousness for us. Dave made sure we felt comfortable with all the food, even with the long list of foods to avoid. It was so fun being able to design our own menu, not picking from a set variation of a menu. Further, the food was INCREDIBLE. Our guests have all commented along the lines of "Your food was amazing, like not "for a wedding good", but restaurant really good". We had beef tenderloin, salmon, spetzle (an unexpetected favorite of guests), and seasonal vegetables. I also recommend getting the Key Lime Pie for dessert. I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life.

Venue: The gardens and venue is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice, seriously breathtaking.

Time: Dave and Dawn were so flexible. My mom did all of our flowers, and they let us prep them at the venue on Thursday (not in the contract, just extra time). Then within the contract is Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. It makes for the most stress free weekend just because the coordination isn't so tight for deadlines.

Communication: I was absolutely the communication problem, however Dave continually followed up, made sure I didn't feel pressured, and helped keep me on track.

Recommendations: We used a DJ that Dave and Dawn recommended, and found their list of other vendors to be so helpful and wonderful.

Day of Coordination: Dawn is so phenomenal. She kept everything on track and completely stress free. The timing of the wedding felt effortless, even though I know it wasn't. For example: I dropped a bunch of stuff on the Sign-In/Gifts table planning to go back and organize it later. By the time I got back to it, Dawn and her team had completely set it up grabbing props from their own stash to make it look stunning. This happened in so many other ways, they are mind readers.

Rental coordination: Completely handled by Fireseed, so easy.

I cannot recommend Fireseed enough. Our pictures are so stunning thanks to the beautiful grounds, the food was incredible, and the day was so amazing. Dave and Dawn are the very best.

We had the most incredible experience at this venue! Dave and Dawn helped us manage the entire event, taking the stress and pain out of our big day away! Our wedding couldn’t have been more of a success in a more beautiful setting. We are so thankful that we started our life together here, and can not recommend Fireseed enough!!!

I cannot express how amazing Dave and Dawn were to work with! The day of Dawn ensured that everything went smoothly and on time. The Fireseed wait staff were fantastic and were able to set up and then quickly move indoors due to rain. The food was delicious - highly recommend the fried chicken and salmon. Our cake was perfect as well. We were so lucky to have found Fireseed for our wedding venue!

If you have a dream, an idea, or half of an idea, then Fireseed Catering can make it come true. This venue is worth every single penny because the quality of service is absolutely outstanding. Our wedding guests are STILL raving about the beautiful venue, delicious food (that can literally fit any budget and palette), and professional staff. The couple who runs the business have successfully put on over 300 weddings, and their experience is evident. They handle every rental aspect, act as your personal wedding planner, cater each part of the event--including decadent desserts! Selecting this venue was the second best decision of the wedding (second after saying 'yes' to my now-husband :)
