    Fish is such an impressive restaurant. The food and service are always spot on. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Southern hospitality at its finest! The menu changes based on what is in season. We love going here for dinner!

    We had our wedding reception at Fish on 11/7/15. Cal did an amazing job helping us with every detail of the reception. He is very responsive to emails and had great ideas. FISH has a fantastic employee in him. We had an open bar at our reception. All of the guest raved about how fun, Rashad, the bartender was. Everyone loved the food and how intimate the reception was! We will continue to tell all of our friends and family how much we love your restaurant!

    When we selected the River House at Lowndes Grove for our wedding/reception location, we decided we had to sample the food that the Fish Restaurant would provide. Our evening then was so perfect we decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there. The staff were knowledgable, responsive, and the food was delectable. A very creative menu, providing a French/Southern/Asian fusion that everyone in our family was able to enjoy.

    What a great location for a rehearsal dinner in Charleston! Cal Goodwin did an amazing job making sure we had the perfect night! Great food! Private upstairs with outdoor balcony provided the perfect Charleston southern atmosphere for our guests!!! Everything was exceptional!

    Fish catered our wedding at Lowndes Grove last month, and the food was AMAZING. We do not live in Charleston, and were unable to do a tasting, however I was assured by so many positive reviews and praise from our vendors that we would not be disappointed, and we definitely were not. Everything was so great, and we were excited to give our New Yorker guests a taste of the South :)

    I used Fish Restaurant to cater my wedding at The William Aiken house on May 23, 2014. The food and beverages were perfection. I would recommend the gouda grits on an edible spoon for appetizers and all my guests were raving over the braised short ribs station we had. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu! Also, they do an amazing tasting prior to the wedding where you can try anything on the menu and sample the wines.

    After looking at several venues in Charleston, Fish Restaurant offered exactly what we were looking for to host our rehearsal dinner. We first came by to check out the restaurant and met with Cal (the Manager). He was very friendly and informative, showed us the second floor where they host events, walked us through the set up and provided us with all of the info and more to confidently make our decision. The second floor was perfect, with plenty of space to accommodate more than enough of our guests, an awesome balcony that would be prime to have a drink and a bar right in the middle, couldn’t ask for more! During our tasting, everything was amazing so it made it really tough to narrow down, but with Cal’s help we gathered great choices, especially the bacon fries that everyone adored! The day came and they had everything ready to go on time and as explained. The hors d'oeuvres were being passed as our guests began to arrive and we could tell everyone loved our options. Many people enjoyed the balcony especially as it started to down pour, it made a nice touch for cocktails before and after dinner! Dinner was served and the compliments started to get to our table as the food was brilliantly presented. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal to share with our friends and family! The service and attention proved their worth as how extremely flexible they were with us. We had 2 guests who were driving from Miami and they happily accommodated them with meals as they arrived way past dinner time – additionally management allowed us to stay an extra hour to have after dinner drinks with desserts while the rain subsided. The staff without a doubt was extremely professional and friendly! We can’t thank Cal and team enough for pulling it all together for us! We truly appreciate everything he did, he went well above and beyond for us and he truly made the place sparkle for our special night!

    Planning a dinner for 60+ people was challenging, but Sarah Copeland and Taylor Moore were wonderful to work with and the end result was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. We could not be happier with our experience with FISH (and the PPH group in general) and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have great service at a very reasonable cost.

    Fantastic food! We can't stop dreaming about the amazing southern cuisine they provided for us at both our rehearsal dinner and reception. Wonderful cake, as well!

    From the hors d'oeuvres to the wedding cake, and everything in between, FISH served our guests outstanding food.
    What we liked most about FISH were the never-ending choices to create a custom wedding menu.
    Being from the north, we decided on a sit-down meal with choice of a beef, chicken or vegetarian dish. The boneless beef short ribs were amazing! The rosemary chicken was a hit too! And we can't forget to mention the ice cream sundae bar!

    Chef Nico and his staff are incredibly accommodating and sincere. The food is innovative and absolutely delicious. They prepared passed hors d'oeuvre, food stations, and desert for our reception. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and we couldn't be happier!

    Yum! The food was soooo good! Not at all your typical "wedding" food. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was amazing. I loved to hear how good it was from our guest. They especially loved the crab cakes.

    FISH restaurant is the caterer for the venue I had for my reception - The American Theater, which is owned by the Patrick Property Group. I was a little disappointed at first that I couldn't use my original caterer when we decided to move venues, but I do NOT regret it now at all because FISH was absolutely AMAZING and their food was BEYOND amazing!! All my guests are raving about their food -- the first course we had; their caesar salad- was *to die for* it was that good!! I totally recommend them and I am SO glad that we were able to use them! They even made my wedding cake and it was beautiful!!! You will *not* be disappointed the food is SO worth it!!

    I loved the food served out our wedding! The appetizers were my favorite part. When we sat down for our tasting, everyone was so helpful and flexible. It was so hard to choose because everything tasted so good! I would recommend fish restaurant to everyone!

    Food was unbelievable!! We had many guests tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! A bit pricey....but worth every penny!! Presentation was great and staff very professional.

    One of the benefits of working with Patrick Properties Group and the William Aiken House is that all food and beverage is catered by the nearby Fish Restaurant, part of PPG. The entire experience of selecting food items, choosing favorite bites at the tasting, and sitting back to enjoy the meal on the big day was seamless.

    I appreciated the PPG girls' research on gluten free specialty cocktails and the pastry chefs absolutely wonderful gluten-free vanilla cake!

    For hors d'ovres, we had sweet potato biscuits with gouda and ham, fried green tomatoes and scallops wapped in shrimp. The latter were soooo succulent! Yum! As the bride, I had the caterers sneak me in some after we wrapped photos so I wouldn't go hungry with all the chatting expected.

    The entrees were local snapper, beef, and the vegetarian option of stuffed portabellas. All were served with a sweet, crisp haricot vert and completely decadent potato gratin.

    Our dessert was a beautifully-crafted, formal, tiered wedding cake with fondant bows that the pastry chef matched to a swatch -- vanilla with cream cheese frosting and lemon curd!

    Later in the evening we did fun comfort foods like spicy tater tots and boiled peanuts and sweet potato fries.

    No, noone left hungry. It was over-the-top, but delicious.

    Did I mention the chef is an award-winning young Frenchman who has put an eclectic spin on traditional Southern favorites?

    We had our wedding through PPGH and FISH is their exclusive caterer... which I was thrilled about! Our food tasting was great and the chef was amazing. We chose to have an early wedding and served a huge southern brunch. The food was delicious (especially the appetizers) There was enough to go around and it was presented really well. The only thing we had issue with was the Eggs Benedict. It was cold and the english muffin was very hard. The wait staff was great and very polite. The cake they made us was so delicious and exactly what I asked for

    Fish provides delicious food! Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted great! The staff was super helpful during our tasting and throughout the menu planning and many changes. They can do such a great variety of food and their southern dishes are divine!

    Fish Restaurant provided my guest with some of the most amazing food that I have ever had in the south. I would recommend them for any wedding or special occassion but make sure that you are willing to fork out the money before booking them. It's just not that cheep to eat in Charleston anymore these days. Other than the price we absolutely loved them!

    Fish catered our reception through Patrick Properties. The food was fantastic! We had crab cakes with asparagus and gnocchi, filet with triple stacked potatoes (sweet, basil and one other) and asparagus, and spinach ravioli and that was just for the main course. All of the options were very unique and special. There was one thing- they were not very flexible in setting the tasting times- my husband is in the military and that made it very difficult for us. However, the food was so wonderful I am glad that we went with them and would definitely recommend this caterer to anyone who is getting married in Charleston.

    Fish food was great! The service was amazing as well. The only down fall, at the time we were in town they could not give us a tasting and they also make you use certain rentals etc for their service which adds up cost wise in the end. We might have chosen a different option for one of the dishes is we would have a tasting but over all everyone said the food was AMAZING!     Our wedding was at the William Aiken house so you have to use Fish catering. We'd heard great things so we were not worried. Our food tasting was incredible so we could not wait for everyone to eat at the wedding! For a Saturday wedding the food and beverage minimum is pretty high, especially considering it does not include the service fee or tax-which surprised us a bit, however we knew about the minimum from the start. Cocktail hour food was really good as far as apps go, we also had a raw bar which was really cool with oysters and shrimp. I didn't get a chance to eat much but did hear the oysters were a bit grainy. We had a sit down dinner and the short ribs and fish were both over cooked, but the risotto and green beans were really good. We also did late night snacks and would highly recommend the truffle fries. We had the platinum bar package which is the best option and one thing that surprised me was that there was no tequila. I'm not sure how I didn't notice this beforehand as I drink tequila myself. Also we sent in a design for our wedding cake-it was just a small cake because we also had mini cupcakes, and they forgot to actually put the design on the cake, so it looked pretty silly. It did taste really good though. All in all we were happy, there were just a few small bumps
