  The flowers and table decorations were beautiful. I described what I was looking for and she delivered on everything. The bouquets were breathtaking and the table arrangements were stunning. She did an amazing job and I would recommend her to anyone.

  Maricel, owner of Flowers by M fromHamilton, Virginia did a phenomenal job planning, organizing, communicating and facilitating our daughter's wedding held at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg. She has a natural sense for Flower design and works with the customer to provide the highest in customer service. The flowers were absolutely stunning. What I liked best was her promptness and follow through. She said we have nothing to worry about and she made sure this was true.
  
  I made a custom wooden cross 12' tall for the backdrop of the wedding ceremony. Maricel spent considerable time making sure the floral arrangement attached to the cross was perfect. This as well as all of the Flower arrangements were gorgeous.
  
  Maricel, you are the best! We hope others see the true professional that you are when selecting a florist in the Nothern Virginia area. Feel free to utilize my family as references. Kudos to you for assisting with making our daughter's wedding an event to remember.

  Using Floral by M was one of the best wedding decisions I made! Not only is Maricel easy and fun to work with, but she's also AMAZING at her job. She went above and beyond my expectations! I'm honestly having trouble thinking of words good enough to describe her work. She does more than most florists can offer. I had everything from bouquets to a huge floral and wooden branch arch - she does it all! My wedding would not have been the same if we'd used a different florist. Not to mention, pricing is completely reasonable! I would highly recommend anyone to use Floral by M.

  Booking Florals by M was the best decision I made while planning my wedding. I spoke with a handful of other florists with very good reviews and ratings and was unimpressed. When I met with Maricel, however, we immediately clicked; she is creative, artistic, dedicated, and extremely passionate about her work. My bouquets and centerpieces were amazing. I lost count of the number of people who raved about the flowers and asked about my florist. Maricel can and will make literally any floral creation you could imagine. She is easy to work with, reliable, and reasonably priced; there is no better deal out there, and I could not possibly get more for my money with any other florist. I cannot say enough good things!

  Maricel is a creative genius. Her ability to create something out of nothing is truly impressive, and she does everything with a smile! She came up to Toronto to do our wedding for us, she definitely set the tone and is the reason why our venue looked phenomenal on our big day. She's flexible and was able to work within our wedding budget. I recommend her to absolutely everyone!

  We found Maricel through our wedding planner and she did an AMAZING job, and was super affordable. My sister who had a really expensive wedding could not believe the price we paid for our flowers. Everyone loved her arrangements and especially raved about how beautiful my wife's bouquet was. The photographer kept joking that he had never seen one that big, and by the end of the night, we were calling it Thor's Hammer!

  Maricel was the absolute BEST! Do yourself a favor and hire her RIGHT NOW.
  
  I knew from the very beginning that she was going to be a cut above the rest: she replied promptly to emails, asked better questions before our initial meeting- ie. for pictures of the church and the reception venue, what ideas I had, a politely frank discussion of budget, and was willing to drive all the way into downtown DC during rush hour to meet with us. As a total surprise, she brought to a bridal bouquet and boutonniere she made based on what I told her we wanted, which was by far the best pitch EVER. I looked at the bouquet and I knew "That's the one!"
  
  Maricel's designs are elegant and stylish yet totally fresh and unique. I was blown away by the creativity. She is a real artist. Other florist shops and designers I met with seemed eager to tell me what I should want, but she really listened and understood our vision.
  
  Our wedding was in a beautiful church and historic home, so we wanted something formal yet bright - Maricel made it work perfectly. She has experience providing flowers for her own church, which made me feel comfortable that she would select something elegant, appropriate, and long-lasting. The reception flowers were just right too.
  
  The bouquets and boutonnieres were gorgeous, and her suggestion of nosegays rather than corsages for moms and grandmas was right on-point. Maricel is great about thinking of small details, like having empty vases at the reception site for each bouquet and nosegay.
  
  One detail I really liked was that each arrangement had succulent flowers in them (echevarria), which could be saved after the wedding in water and actually grew new roots! It's a living souvenir of my bridal bouquet that I treasure.
  
  Gorgeous work, reasonable prices, incredible talent and customer service - what more could you ask? Next time I need flowers for ANYTHING I am giving her a call!

  Maricel is the best!!!! She was recommended to me by a friend that used her for her wedding in 2014. I was going to make my own bouquet but my mom insisted I get one professionally made and with Maricel's beautiful work and incredible prices, I couldn't say no. She is absolutely the sweetest person and was very kind throughout the planning. My mom lives in California and Maricel easily kept in contact with her to figure out the arrangements. She made the most beautiful bouquet and perfect matching boutonnieres. My husband loved it and he isn't big on flowers at all.
  The most amazing part is that she dropped off the flowers at the wedding venue in Leesburg and helped my mom finish centerpieces that she had made on her own. She was an angel to my mom and did the most beautiful job! I will be recommending her to all my friends! For someone who didn't want to even budget much for flowers, I say that she is worth every penny spent!

  Do yourself a favor and hire Maricel as your florist and you won't even have to worry about the flowers. Maricel was so easy to work with and her talent is unbelievable. She was the only florist we met with who showed up with 2 sample bouquets she created just after asking which colors I liked. And she let us keep them!
  
  We weren't quite sure what we wanted as far as centerpieces so, I gave her a couple pictures of arrangements we liked, that I wanted sunflowers and tulips and our colors were purple and yellow. The centerpieces & bouquets she created were amazing! She went above and beyond by picking up the lanterns we were renting from another couple, and then stayed through the ceremony so she could move the arrangements from there to the reception. There was an extra table at dinner that we weren't sure what to do with, and when I arrived it was covered in a beautiful arrangement Maricel had created without even being asked. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Not only the bouquets, but large flower arrangements along with church pew decorations, as well as all our center pieces, flower girl flower crowns, etc. Maricel is unstoppable and the most creative florist I have ever met and worked with. She will make anything possible and come alive and will patiently work with you and your budget. She has gone above and beyond. We love her!!!   I told someone I work with that I was getting married and she mentioned that her daughter in law was great at floral design. We had already met with numerous florists but decided to meet with Maricel and I'm so glad we did! She met me out at our venue and within moments of meeting her I knew she understood our vision. She went above and beyond by providing a beautiful sample centerpiece, ceremony arrangement, and bouquet! They were amazing and weren't even all the flowers we wanted since we had just experienced a big snowstorm and deliveries were delayed so not all the flowers were available. It was a no brainer at that point that she was our florist! She continued to go above and beyond when we found out that we needed to move up our church ceremony because we had an opportunity to meet the Pope. She provided flowers for that ceremony and a month later helped complete our vision at our vow renewal and reception. I was at a loss for words when I saw the flowers and ambiance she created.   Maricel was so great to work with on my wedding day! We worked on pictures together to achieve the look of my wedding, and met and spoke a lot about what my vision was. I wanted romantic, and I definitely got that! Maricel has some really great ideas, and was a complete joy to work with. I definitely will recommend her to other brides!

  Marciel was a joy to work with and our flowers were beautiful! The bouquets and boutonnieres were just what I wanted and the flowers were fresh. She delivered the flowers in really pretty boxes that we actually kept for wedding (and now baby!) mementos and keepsakes :) I highly recommend her!

  Maricel is amazing. Her work is stunning, she is exceptionally pleasant and flexible, and her prices are reasonable. I showed her a photo of a custom arch made from branches and vines that I saw on a wedding blog, and she built one for me! I met with several other florists who were too expensive and told me 'no' to most of the things I wanted. Maricel found a way to make everything I asked for work. I'm so lucky to have found her.

  Maricel's work wasn't good ... it was fabulous. As I told her. It is rare that someone else can make the image in my mind come true. This was one of those rare times that occurred. She brought to life the exact vision that my bride and I had for the flowers and setting for our wedding. Her artistry in putting all of the arrangements together was masterful. Getting exotic flowers from Hawaii that appeared as fresh as if we just cut them ourselves? No problem. In addition, she was an extremely kind individual who never pushed back on any ideas we threw her way. We had an outdoor wedding which ran into significant weather challenges. She never flinched or complained one bit in having to set up in those conditions. On top of that, she so very kindly assisted with tasks which were not in scope of her direct responsibilities. In short, our wedding would not have been nearly as wonderful without her.
  
  I don't give out praise often, but she is certainly deserving of it. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a florist for a special event.

  Maricel was very accommodating! And incredibly willing to help with so many aspects of the wedding. She helped with set-up, dance lessons, you name it! Although there were a few things that were a bit of a let-down: one was that my bouquet was not a cascading bouquet which I had asked for and the other was that one of my primary colors (purple) was off from the described color I wanted. It was more of a violet when I wanted a plum or an eggplant color. :( For these reasons, I sort of fish that the majority of her energy has just been focused on the flowers. But nonetheless she did a beautiful job and is very well priced! :)
