  Above & Beyond!

  After speaking with many florists, Sumitra was the only one who instantly understood the vision for my wedding. She regularly sent me updated pictures of flowers, greenery, colors, and decor to ensure her choices matched my vision. I felt totally in the loop every step of the way! Sumitra flawlessly matched the flowers to my MOH's dress and husband's tie. Everyone commented on it! The night before the wedding, she unboxed our flowers shipped from California to discover that they were all covered in mold. First thing on our wedding day, she proactively drove to Pennsylvania to find the perfect shade of peach roses to ensure our arrangements were just as we originally discussed! Still arriving in time to set up without a hitch. Sumitra truly is committed to her craft and will give 110% to ensure your wedding is the day of your dreams! I am so impressed with her and would definitely recommend her to any bride in the DMV looking for a florist. Thank you so much, Sumitra! 11/10 experience.

  COVID Wedding Pivot Made Beautiful Thanks to Sumitra!

  We booked Sumitra for our June 2020 wedding long before anyone had heard the word "COVID" . We had to postpone the celebration, but still wanted to get married. Sumitra worked with us as we changed plans and decided to have a mini ceremony instead. She was so easy to work with, listened carefully to what we wanted, and was very flexible. She delivered a beautiful bouquet, boutonniere, and even a flower collar for our dog! Plus, she made sure to test the dog collar while she was here and - when we discovered it was too large - made on-the-spot adjustments to make it fit our little dog better! Our wedding day would not have been the same without her work - looking forward to working together again for our wedding 2.0!

  Made our day extra special.

  We worked with Sumitra and her team for our wedding and it turned out AMAZING! She was quick to respond and work with our budget and her team is very professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. They even gave us a toss bouquet and cake flowers for free. Thanks!!!

  I had such a fantastic experience working with Sumitra at Flower Girl Designs. She is generous, attentive, creative, and a visionary. She did a masterful job of listening to our ideas and not only making them work within our venue space, but also within our budget. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the day-of was fantastic, but you know you’re working with a quality business when they check in on you weeks and days before the wedding to make sure you’re doing okay and have everything you need. I would highly recommend Flower Girl Designs for your wedding/event floral needs.
