Fluff did such a great job on my hair and makeup. Brittany listened to exactly what I wanted, and my hair looked better than I could have imagined. I let Dasha know I don't wear alot of makeup, and she made my makeup look so natural. I never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. My mom and sister were both stunning.
The salon is beautiful as well. When I arrived, they brought me to the courtyard. It is so cute! We then went upstairs and had the area to ourselves while we got our hair and makeup done.
I would recommend this salon to friends and family over and over again. Brittany and Dasha did an incredible job and were so easy to work with! -

I booked Fluff for my wedding weekend glam for myself as well as my bridesmaids. Some of the main selling points when I first booked was the flexibility with payments & services and the amazing aesthetic of the salon. I had no idea how much I would actually love the services I booked as well! The months leading up to the event I had so many questions and last minutes changes and Brittany was always so quick to respond and so overly kind. When it was finally time for the trial Ethan was scheduled to do my hair and Jami was doing my makeup. After sending an inspo picture and having a quick chat they both got to work. They were both so fun, relaxed, and we connected quickly. They put me at ease for something I was honestly a little nervous about. I couldn’t believe how much I loved my trial! It made me even more excited for the day. The day of the wedding came and we had so much fun getting ready at Fluff! We brought some breakfast and mimosas, played our own music and had the whole upstairs all to ourselves! A lot of the bridesmaids got blowouts and they were so happy to have this as a service to choose since usually that’s not an option. Everyone looked stunning! Ethan made my hair even more whimsical and romantic than the trial and I couldn’t believe how much I loved it. Jami really listened to all my concerns (and I had a lot haha) and I have never felt so beautiful! As someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup, she made me feel natural yet so glam and I felt so comfortable all day! I barely had do any touch ups. I’ve already had a few brides reach out asking about my hair & makeup because they both photographed so well. We had the best experience and I would recommend Fluff to any bride. Thank you Jami & Ethan for making me feel like the most beautiful bride! You guys are the best! -

Marissa Sent on 12/21/2017I eloped last weekend and Fluff Bar accommodated my hair and makeup needs In less than a week. Alise did a beautiful updo on my short hair using clip-in extensions, it was exactly what I wanted! Erica was my makeup artist! I was looking for a dark smokey eye and full face makeup. Even though I had a couple different inspirational pictures Erica was able to do my makeup better than I could ever imagine! It was such a simple ceremony but Fluff Bar was able to make my wedding day special! -

They were great Mary made my dream makeup look into reality and Alise was great with my hair. Highly recommended! -

All of the women loved their hair and make-up, it lasted through the night (and a LOT of dancing) and the hair and makeup artists were friendly and fun. The studio is also beautiful and made for wonderful getting-ready photographs. -
User2507704 Sent on 01/16/2016Fluff was amazing in one word. I had a big wedding party of 22 people for hair and makeup. I was a little worried with such a big party size and it was really hard to get everyone on the same page, but it was an almost perfect experience as it turned out. Everything from my trial run to my extensions then my day of hair and makeup was so wonderful I wanted to give almost perfect scores. I gave a 4.5 stars for value because a few girls thought it was expensive, but they don't usually get their hair and makeup done... I personally thought it was a good value and there was no up-selling or pressure and the price in our contract was what we payed. The makeup they use was really good too... I can't remember what is is called right now, but it was really good.
If you want to use a real makeup company with a beautiful location, definitely go here. They have champagne and cocktails too. I wasn't drinking on my wedding day but I did get to try their champagne during my trial.
A nearly 5 star experience I was excited to write about and I will definitely go back to you guys! Jody -

Carrie Sent on 04/29/2018*I love Fluff. I had my wedding hair and makeup done for myself and Mom, MIL, and three bridesmaids! Everyone looked so beautiful and they made us feel like stars.
*I live in Salt lake and Brittany squeezed me in last minute on a Sunday, which they don’t usually do, for my hair and makeup trial. Brittany was my contact there and responded to my emails super fast. I really appreciated it.
*My hair and Makeup was done by Erin! She was great. Fun and really professional. I loved my hair. She even did a last minute airbrush trial on me because the first trial with regular makeup felt heavy. The day of we used regular makeup and it turned out perfect. She went with exactly what I wanted and matched my color to my own foundation, because the previous colors were a bit off.
* I never wear makeup and the way she did it on my wedding day felt light and easy and I still felt like myself, even with huge eyelashes!!
* I loved having the whole upstairs to ourselves. We were able to spread out and enjoy our girl time.
* The only thing was it ended up being a little pricy for my mom and mother in law and my bridesmaids. I mean they were gorgeous but it all adds up. My mom and mother in law didn’t have much done with their hair and still paid the full. I still feel it was worth it just pricy. -

User2779363 Sent on 09/22/2016I used Fluff for my wedding hair and makeup, as did my bridesmaid and mother. We had mixed reviews throughout the process, but in the end, everything turned out beautiful. My trial was a little rocky. It was difficult to communicate to both a hair and makeup artist (often with one eye closed, head tilted to the side...) while being rushed through a one hour "consultation and trial." I HIGHLY recommend separating your hair and makeup appointments for BOTH your trial and wedding day. On a positive note, there's no pressure for up-selling, and loved the all-inclusive bridal package (lip gloss, eyelashes). In the end, I added extensions ($150) but they made a major difference in my hair. Have your appointment onsite in their upstairs bridal suite. There will be music and champagne, and you can bring your own breakfast along.

User1448273 Sent on 11/21/2013I booked Fluff for my bridal hair/makeup as well as appointment for my mom, MIL, and sister. I went for my trial, and was pleased with my results. In the midst of my planning and appts, Fluff changed their prices and packages. When I contacted them, they did work with me and honored the original package. Then two days before my wedding, I got an email saying that the two people who did my hair and make up weren't employed there anymore! The representative at Fluff said the lead stylist would take over and assured me that with detailed notes and pictures from my trial, things would be fine. I was concerned, but I didn't want to trust a new place with such short notice. Well, my hair went from curled to completely straight before I even left the salon! Another stylist had to recurl it (as my original person took off to go somewhere else)... and after about an hour it fell again! I ended up having to try and curl my own hair while getting ready at the venue! It was very disappointing and frustrating-- I paid a lot of money to have someone else take care of my hair and I was trying to "fix" it moments before our event. I can see where it would be a fun place for a night out with your girls, but I would not recommend it for your big day. -

I honestly wish there was an option to leave zero stars for this review.
I recently went to Fluff Bar for a Bridal hair and & makeup trial because they consider themselves a top Bridal Salon.
I left the salon in tears because my trial was so disappointing, the stylist didn't take my inspiration into consideration AT ALL. She brought me back and left me there for 20 minutes before we started, she didn't let me look in the mirror during my makeup, and rushed me downstairs for a photo in a dark room before deserting me for another client. I looked at the picture because it was the only way to look at my makeup and it looked ok, but my hair looked awful.
When I got to my car and saw my face in the light, its was AWFUL! The foundation was the wrong color and totally splotchy, my eye makeup was non-existant, and blush was SO harsh it looked like I was punched. She didn't contour or touch my brows at all. It honestly looked like a child had gotten into her mom's makeup bag, and not anywhere near what I would expect from a professional. I also got feedback from hair and makeup professionals who agree the work was unacceptable from someone who calls themselves a professional.
I didn't know what to do so I called the salon and asked to talk to a manager. After talking on the phone to an unsympathetic manager, I emailed her the pictures and asked her if it was up to their standards. She was EXTREMELY condescending and unprofessional, and blamed me for the terrible trial. Insisting I needed fake lashes (they said they had latex-free glue when I booked, but they didn't so i obviously declined the lashes..) and and highlights to feel beautiful. Plus, I should expect AT LEAST 5 trials ($170 a piece) before I was satisfied with my look. However, the issue wasn't the style of the look, it was the application that was no where near what you would expect for a bride.
I shared my experience with other brides in the area on a local Facebook group for brides to be and they were completely outraged with the service I received, and even more outraged with the way the manager spoke to me (I shared the emails). Over 100 brides in the area insisted I post a review of my experience because it was totally unacceptable, and that it isn't fair to other brides looking to feel beautiful on their wedding day. This salon, and the owner Brittany Chambers made me feel the opposite of beautiful, she made me feel little, defensive, and that my opinion as a customer didn't matter.
Please, please, please think twice before you book this salon for your special day. -

Don't waste your time. I had so many issues with Fluff bar from the beginning. It's not worth bringing all that negative energy in for your big day, especially if you're only going to look "OK." After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like this salon has several ongoing issues: communication professionalism, and all in all, the salon is exceptionally overpriced for the mediocre hair and makeup they provide you. As a place advertising itself as a salon catering to brides, I expected much better.
1) The trial did not make me feel like I would be beautiful for my wedding day, I wanted to cry. And even after communicating with my stylist about what I wanted, what I disliked about the style she gave me, and her trying to do some tweaks and fixes, I was only told that it'd be better if I had extensions on the wedding day. Which I wasn't planning on buying initially, but after that hair trial experience, I felt like I had to because they said they could only do so much with my hair which is 4 in past my shoulders.
2) Spring 2021, I called the front desk to get pricing quotes for their services; I was quoted over the phone 350$ for a wedding package which I understood to be a bride trial and day of hair and makeup. I then asked the salon to book my wedding date and send me an official SLA. I waited nearly a month for an SLA, and I had to follow up with them constantly to make sure things were in order. I also asked Brittany several times to confirm the package pricing matched my understanding, which she confirmed it did. When I was paying for the trial run, it was around 520$; mind you, I ordered extensions, lip color, and the trial run. The price seemed to match my bridal package plus those additions. I wanted to confirm that I would have nothing else to pay day of the wedding. The front desk said yes they don't like having brides pay the day of, but I should speak with Brittany to be sure as the package pricing has changed. After talking with Brittany, turns out turned out I still owed 520$ a day of my wedding for my event hair and makeup (320) and my MOH's hair and makeup, which did not match my understanding of the bridal package pricing or SLA.
3) Whenever I spoke with Brittany, I felt she was condescending and rude, especially when I had questions or things I was not satisfied with, like the pricing on the bridal package the front desk quoted me did not match what I was charged. When we discussed the pricing over the phone, and I explained that there was a disconnect from the front desk and her, and I only booked the package because it was in my budget/price range, she replied "We can't honor that price; we have to feed our stylists," This REALLY rubbed me the wrong way. Pay your stylists a living wage don't put your lousy business practices on me.
4) They CANCELED my appointments without a confirmation from me then said, "Have a nice married life" I asked Brittany, "could you walk me through the process of canceling," I had so many bad vibes and was feeling super negative about the salon. I wanted to know the details around canceling: if I would be charged if I could keep one appointment instead of canceling them both, etc. I get an email back saying she canceled both my MOH and my appointments and have a nice married life. I didn't ask to cancel any appointment; I just asked what the process of canceling was. At the bare minimum, you should confirm or clarify that a client wants to cancel before just DOING IT.
