Incredible caterer! One of the best parts of our wedding

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Fogcutter for our Sept 2019 wedding at Ru's Farm in Healdsburg. The food was delicious across the board, and many of our guests complimented us on it! We loved how the team was so attuned to what was in season and what would be in the spirit of the wine country, casual family dining approach that we were going for. And the way they plated and served everything was gorgeous. The staff was helpful and professional at the wedding itself.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Fogcutter for our Sept 2019 wedding at Ru's Farm in Healdsburg. The food was delicious across the board, and many of our guests complimented us on it! We loved how the team was so attuned to what was in season and what would be in the spirit of the wine country, casual family dining approach that we were going for. And the way they plated and served everything was gorgeous. The staff was helpful and professional at the wedding itself.

The process of working with Caroline and her team couldn't have been more pleasant and easy. We had great email communication with them over the course of a year, and Caroline was always prompt and helpful in answering all of our questions and getting to a good solution together. The tasting at their SF location was a) yummy, and b) a productive way for us to talk about what we liked and what we didn't like, and the team developed some tweaks on existing menu items based on that discussion. And, as we got down to the wire and realized that we had to deal with an insane number of dietary restrictions (including one person who requested no salt) the team could not have been more gracious and willing to deal with those special requests at no extra charge.

We were also happy with the way we were able to negotiate items to stay within our budget, including doing family style salad instead of plated to save $$, and bringing our own wine because we were required to purchase from the venue instead of doing their wine package. It certainly wasn't cheap but we felt the final total was entirely reasonable for what we got.

TL;DR we would HIGHLY recommend Fogcutter and only wish we had more reasons to keep working with them!

Amazing! Just the best!

My husband and I hired Fogcutter for our July 2019 wedding in San Francisco and I don’t even know where to start with how wonderful they are!

The food was beautiful and delicious. Almost every single one of our guests individually came up to us either at the wedding or afterwards to tell us how good it was. And the wedding cake was the best cake I have ever had.

But beyond the food, all of Fogcutter's staff were amazing. The service was great, professional, courteous, quick, but more importantly to us everybody was so friendly and happy which only added to how special the day was.

Seamless experience!

I recently coordinated a wedding that Fogcutter was hired for. They were phenomenal to work with. They handled the food and drinks, of course, but also managed coordinating all the rentals for the client. Theresa was a dream to work with. She was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. The wedding went off without a hitch, thanks to this wonderful team.

Best Caterer Ever!

After our original caterer fell through one month before our wedding, we were in a scramble to find a replacement. Fortunately, we found Fogcutter, and long story short, we’re SO happy our first caterer fell through so that we could be lucky enough to have Fogcutter for our wedding.

Although Fogcutter had multiple events over our wedding weekend, they generously wanted to help us out because they’re genuinely great people. Our contact with Therese & team was wonderful from day one, all the way through the wedding. She was responsive, helpful, and made everything easy. Within a week of contacting them, we had an intro call, a tasting, and our menu finalized.

Needless to say, the floral crown was just BEAUTIFUL- truly something I've only seen in my dreams! I loved working with Fogcutter, and cannot thank them or recommend them enough!

The best ever!

I had a very specific vision for the food at our wedding, and Fogcutter matched that vision perfectly. I wanted fresh, modern, California cuisine, served family style, so when I found Fogcutter I was really excited. After our tasting with them, we knew they were the one, and didn't bother doing tastings with anyone else. Many of our guests and our vendors (like our DJ and our photographer) told us that the food at our wedding was the best they had ever had!

Therese and Guillermo were also great to work with. Therese was very responsive, and patiently worked with us through many customizations to the menu, and adding a cake to our order at the last minute...

She also coordinated our entire rental order, so we didn't have to worry about coordinating with yet another vendor. Guillermo (the chef) went out of his way during the wedding day to check up on us and make sure that we were happy with everything. He also gave us leftovers to take home after the wedding :)

Overall, our experience working with Fogcutter was great, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone else planning their wedding.

Amazing food, incredible people

I can't begin to say enough nice things about Fogcutter. The food was awesome. Our wedding was such a special night and a lot of that is owed to Fogcutter. We wanted to have an intimate, 60 person wedding that felt laid-back but still really special. We ended up choosing a location that was not a full-service venue, and we did not have a huge budget to work with. Despite this, Caroline and the whole team at Fogcutter was warm and welcoming right from the get-go. They ultimately came in and transformed a greenhouse into a full-service kitchen. They coordinated and set up rentals, tables and chairs for us, and created a day and a meal that felt like the fun California backyard taco party wedding we were envisioning. Best. Food. Ever. (And incredible people!)

We can't rave enough about our experience with Fogcutter. We were lucky enough to have them cater our wedding and the entire experience from beginning to end, was amazing. Caroline was so warm and welcoming when we met her at our tasting and Guillermo cooked us some of the best food we've ever had. Fast forward to our wedding, our guests could not stop complimenting not only the amazing food, but the incredible servers that were working. We've continued to get emails and calls from friends and family telling us it was some of the best food they've ever had. So thank you, Caroline and the whole Fogcutter team, for making our day absolutely perfect and stress free.

Melding our two cuisines together didn't create a typical menu, and included many dishes that Guillermo hadn't cooked before. Needless to say, everything turned out perfectly. The food was flawless, both in taste and presentation. Our guests loved everything they ate, and raved about how good it tasted and how beautifully it was all presented - additionally they raved about the staff, and how warm and responsive everyone was. Our after dinner baklava (the pastry chef's mothers' recipe) was adored, and our speciality drinks (who the mixologist personally tested and tried prior to the wedding), were a huge hit! Also, I must note, that tea was presented in samovars, with rock candy on the side - the Iranian guests soaked this up! It was a huge hit!! :) The care and love that this team puts into everything they do is unmatched. I highly, and without a doubt recommend them for any event you're hosting. They will work happily, and closely with you, to come up with a unique menu, that will feed your stomach, heart, and soul. I adore this team, and look forward to a lasting relationship!

We used Fogcutter at our large Friday rehearsal dinner (150 ppl) and our Saturday Wedding Day (190) for our wedding at SSS Ranch in Calistoga, and they were excellent all around. The food was absolutely incredible - super fresh and delicious. It had people raving for weeks after the wedding, and we got so many “best wedding food ever” compliments. The corn salads, the meats, the passed appetizers were all so delicious - PERFECT farm to table food for a Northern California summer wedding. The presentation was also beautiful.
Caroline is very easy to work with, super responsive, and runs a very well-organized operation.
Highly, highly recommend FogCutter for their amazing food and the attention to detail.

I cannot imagine anyone doing a more impeccable job than Fogcutter did every step of the way for our wedding last month. Caroline is fabulously responsive and super accommodating, and pulled together a seriously GORGEOUS meal for 90 within what we were starting to fear was an impossibly small budget. We opted for the buffet which they did so, so beautifully, bringing their own gorgeous and unique serving dishes (no fugly silver chafing dishes here!), and right after the ceremony, they even brought my husband and I a little tray of all of our appetizers from cocktail hour so we could enjoy them while we were off taking family portraits and having a few moments alone together before joining...

And oh my god, THE FOOD! Literally all of our guests told us this was the best (and healthiest! Fogcutter offers so many delicious, vegetable-forward side dishes) meal they’ve ever had at a wedding, hands down. And we totally agree! I have been straight up dreaming about their fabulous lemon ricotta ravioli with pea shoots and a hint of chili oil ever since our tasting a few months before the wedding — SO GOOD!

They blew us away. Not only were they prepared with the most creative and delicious take on 'breakfast for dinner' but we could tell that they were having just as much fun as we were. Fogcutter catered our wedding last April. From start to finish, they were amazing to work with. They remained flexible throughout, especially as we changed our menu in the lead-up to the big day. The food was great: it impressed our crowd, which is a big feat since we have a lot of foodie friends. What's more, they provided us with great recommendations (we wouldn't have found our excellent DJ, for example, without their help). We were approaching our wedding not wanting to expend a huge amount of cash, and they were more than willing to work with our budget and to find options that could decrease our bottom line. Most importantly, they were pleasant, professional, and had great taste. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Things couldn't have gone smoother. And last but obviously not least, the food was AMAZING!!! My friends and family are seriously still talking about the food at our wedding. Everyone, including us, were blown away. I highly recommend Fogcutter if you are looking for a caterer. They are an amazing value and care deeply about their clients.

Working with Fogcutter was amazing! Caroline and Guillermo were fun, patient, supportive and thought of everything. They really listened to our ideas and made them come to life. Caroline's flowers were beautiful and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. The staff were fun and made sure everyone was taken care of. When, after all our planning, our lovely outdoor garden wedding was rained out and could have been a disaster, they made it a magical indoor affair. We could not have been happier. Fogcutter really became part of our story and we are so grateful for everything they did.

Don't think twice. They were extremely easy to work with + they delivered over the top on the food quality and service at our wedding in Sonoma. We fell in love with these guys!

We hired Fogcutter to cater our wedding in San Francisco. They also arranged all the rentals (saviors!) and bartenders for the day. We were working within a pretty constrained budget, and they managed to deliver a refined meal that satisfied even our most foodie guests! Caroline is super organized (quick turn around on quotes, very responsive) and brings a positive attitude and smile that light up a room, and a highlight of the evening was when Guillermo joined us out on the dance floor! This team obviously loves what they do and delivers high quality food and customer service at a great price. I'd highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Bay Area!

Choosing Fogcutter to cater our wedding may have been the best decision we made (except for deciding to get married, of course). What a fantastic job they did!

First, Caroline and Guillermo were an absolute pleasure to work with. When we were first looking around at potential caterers, Caroline drove all the way to our place to meet us and share a beer to discuss details. She asked great questions and provided lots of helpful information. She is incredibly down to earth, friendly, accommodating and great to work with.

When we decided we were definitely interested in partnering with Fogcutter, we did a tasting with them and were blown away! The food was unique, fresh...

When we were first looking around at potential caterers, Caroline drove all the way to our place to meet us and share a beer to discuss details. She asked great questions and provided lots of helpful information. She is incredibly down to earth, friendly, accommodating and great to work with.

When we decided we were definitely interested in partnering with Fogcutter, we did a tasting with them and were blown away! The food was unique, fresh and delicious. Not your typical forgettable wedding food. Seriously delicious. And we had a chance to meet the head chef, Guillermo, who was a great pleasure to chat with.

Soon after the tasting, we decided to move forward with Fogcutter and never looked back. Caroline and her team were great communicators and developed a menu that was specific both to our tastes and the summer season. Caroline even visited the venue with us to plan out the layout and get a feel for how the evening would go.

On the day of the wedding, the team did a splendid job. Man, was the food good. Like really good. We continue to receive compliments from guests who enjoyed the food, and that's just not normal for a wedding! We both really appreciated that Guillermo made up a special plate of appetizers for each one of us, since we definitely didn't have time to go grab some while chatting with guests. He also came to check on us while we were eating dinner and brought us some extra of our favorite dish so we could continue enjoying.

All in all, we were so impressed with Fogcutter and so happy we were able to work with them for our wedding. They completely exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend working with them!

We chose Caroline and Guillermo because we had a vision for an Asian/California/modern/casual menu, and quickly learned we had found the perfect team. Their expertise, experience, and professionalism were constant - we couldn't have asked for a better catering team. They repeatedly demonstrated creativity and flexibility in the time leading up to the wedding, and their kindness and warmth truly added a glow to our special evening.

If you decide to work with them, one tip - be specific with your feedback and ideas. Caroline and Guillermo have a deep knowledge of the Bay Area feed scene and trends; nothing went over their heads....

Caroline & Fogcutter truly made my wedding day! From the first point of contact they were beyond helpful, reliable, professional and just fabulous to work with! Not to mention our wedding guests said that it was the most AMAZING food they have ever had! We were thrilled with the final product and could not have been happier with our tasting, wedding menu, service and dinner! It was delicious, fresh and beautiful food that was served by smiling and professional caterers! We cannot recommend them enough! Such an incredible team! Thank you fogcutter for making our special day so wonderful.
