Best Night Ever

Our wedding would not have been the best night ever if it wasnt for Follow the Sun and I mean it! Our wedding was on the smaller side but you would have thought we had 300 people on the dancefloor as it was PACKED from start to end. Not only are they talented but they were fun, professional and easy to work with. We have (multiple) people telling us a month later that our music/dancing was one of the best parts of any wedding they have attended. We are forever fans and are so thankful to them for such an amazing night.

Book this band

Follow the Sun was the PERFECT way to bring in the New Year. From my initial correspondence with Sophie, I just knew they were the right fit for our rowdy 270+ crowd. Sophie’s communication and professionalism is top-notch. While you always have difficulties with some vendors, Follow the Sun was not one of them.

I would absolutely recommend starting your evening with Laura, Sophie and Gene performing at your ceremony. Richie is a natural emcee and he really took the time to learn to pronounce some of our difficult last names. One of the things that drew me in about Follow the Sun was their amazing setlist. It’s been almost 2 months since our wedding and people are STILL talking about them! We had a wide array of music fans in attendance and the dance floor was packed the entire night. No one wanted the night to end!!!! They definitely made some new fans at our wedding and I know of multiple groups that already have plans to see them perform this year. They’re definitely made groupies out of Jason and I!

I can’t begin to thank them enough. I could shout it from the rooftop: if you want a band for your wedding, THIS IS THE BAND TO BOOK!

Best wedding ever

INCREDIBLE! They were absolutely incredible! We cannot put into words how amazing they made our wedding ceremony and reception! We still have people tell us that they are the best band they've ever seen and we agree. The dance floor was packed the entire night and their song catalog is vast and performed amazingly. It really felt like we were at a concert that night. It was awesome!
Sophie and Richie are two of the nicest people you will meet and truly cared about making our wedding everything we dreamed! They communicated with us often and made sure all the details were in place for the entire night. We can't imagine what it would have been like without Follow the Sun and we cannot recommend them enough.

A great band to rock the night away!

Follow the Sun was the perfect band for our big day! Having booked them off reviews and a few videos, we could not have been happier with the quality of production and music. Sophie & Richie were great leading up to the wedding; making sure to meet enough to get to know us, our timeline, and expectations. They worked through the playlist with us, giving their thoughts, but letting us lead the way. The whole band was extremely nice, as well as immensely talented. They rocked the night away, and we received many compliments on how fun the band and music was from our guests. I would recommend this band for any event or wedding.

10/10 would recommend!!

They were amazing! We got married on my family farm & they were so accommodating and kind. They played all of our song requests and had our guests dancing all night! We have been given so many compliments about the song selections and energy. Sophie was amazing to work with and they were so flexible. We had no idea what we were doing and they provided a detailed timeline that we were able to tweak. Thank y’all so much!!

Talented, easy to work with, memorable wedding band!

We saw Follow the Sun at a friend's wedding in Cleveland and had SO much fun on the dance floor that we hired FTS for our own out-of-state wedding! They easily navigating planning with us- even for an out of town wedding- and even provided valuable insights on the flow of the day. Their acoustic trio played beautifully for our ceremony and the band rocked it for the reception. They are extremely talented singers and musicians and play a variety of songs- EVERY SONG IS SO GOOD- they will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long! They have fun and are flexible to last minute changes. They are organized- sound and lighting were ideal- and know how to make your special day extra fun. Our guests (and vendors) are STILL raving about how amazing this band was and we can't wait to see them again! Highly recommend this band for your wedding or other special event! :)

Perfection

Sophie and Ricky and the whole band went above and beyond to prepare for our wedding. The punctuality was always there and we knew during the planning phase that a quick answer was never more than an email away. From the first time we made contact, we knew we were making a good decision by hiring them.

Then before we knew it it was the wedding day. The band was there early setting up multiple sounds systems for both the live set and the ceremony/cocktail hour as we had discussed multiple times by that point. Ricky was a lively and fun MC for the formalities. And then it was time for the live set and it all broke loose.

I don't know whether it was the crowd we had invited or what but I have NEVER seen a wedding dance floor get so lit up like it did at our event. The stage presence, the musicianship, and the setlist we made from their massive catalog of songs received the highest marks not just from us, but ALL of our guests. Shirts were coming off. High heel shoes were flying across the room from all directions. Old folks were dancing like they were 30 years younger. It was 4 hours of bedlam out there and we were loving every second of it.

After the event was over and everyone was cleaning up, our event coordinator for the venue pulled us aside and mentioned that she was so impressed with how professional, fun, and easy to work with Follow The Sun was, especially since it was their first time MC-ing an event at the venue.

If you are planning a wedding and want it to get LIVE at your event, we cannot recommend Follow the Sun any more. If you want your wedding that you've worked so hard for to be the biggest party of the year, compromise elsewhere and hire this band over a DJ. Seriously, just do it.

Literally amazing

We hired Follow the Sun for our wedding ceremony and reception in the beginning of June this year! It was honestly the best choice! You can feel their passion for the love they have for music and putting on a great performance through their vocals, sick guitar playing and willingness to learn a few songs that you want to add that aren’t in their song list ( which is an impressive list)! Their communication throughout the whole planning process was on point and they made us feel confident our wedding day went as discussed and seamlessly. I highly recommend Follow the Sun for any event and will be hiring them for future gatherings. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

The perfect wedding band!

Our reception was everything we could've dreamed of and more all thanks to Follow the Sun!

We were checking out options for a live band we got a recommendation for FtS, so we went to see them perform live and we knew right away they were the band for us. They are incredibly talented musicians and the band has great chemistry. They bring so much energy and get the crowd involved.

FtS goes above and beyond to provide a customized experience. When we inquired about booking they made the whole process so easy and fun for us. We had a Zoom call with the band to discuss our vision for our day, and they were so accommodating as well as provided great insight for us from their experience with other weddings. They have an awesome set list of songs to choose from, with great variety to fit what you're interested in. Any questions we had during the weeks leading up to the wedding they were quick to respond to and so kind. We had custom requests with family traditions/songs and FtS were able make it all fit seamlessly into the evening.

Our dancefloor was packed all night because of the incredible job the band did. We are so thankful and would highly recommend them to any couple interested in live music for their big day.

Special shoutout to Sophie for being so attentive and answering all of our questions, and to Richie for being an INCREDIBLE master of ceremonies handling bridal party introductions and announcements throughout the evening. The BEST choice you can make

Amazing Wedding Band!

We hired them to play our wedding, which was a nerve wracking experience (so much pressure when you have to find and hire live music!), but so worth it in the end because they truly MADE our reception. Not only was the music perfect and their voices amazing (seriously amazing), but they brought great energy and got everyone moving. Perfect addition to our big day.
