Wedding Flowers Dream!
Foote Florals is the best!! Rebecca is so kind, responsive, professional, and talented! I am not a huge floral person in general, but she made me fall in love with flowers. I only had about 4 pinterest photos of what I was looking for, and she made everything come to life for my wedding day. We had a zoom call and a phone call to discuss my vision, and she really made me feel heard/important. She came early on wedding, checked in with me, and her team even double checked with me about how I wanted my guest tables set up. They come back to pick up vase rentals too, which was so nice so I didn't have to worry about returning anything! Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect! She is worth every penny - trust me!! -

INCREDIBLE! Rebecca made all my Pinterest dreams come true AND THEN SOME. She took ideas and made them her own, incorporating out wishes and vision / vibe as a couple, creating the most breathtaking flowers I could ever imagine! She was so kind from out first consult to day of, professional, and a dream to work with. She has an impeccable eye, true talent, and immaculate execution! We got so many compliments on her work, and really felt they added so much to our day! -

Fabulous Foote Florals!
Rebecca is an absolute artist and a consummate professional! Rebecca and her team did the florals for our wedding including bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, dinner and cocktail table arrangements, boutonnières, and flower girls’ baskets. I discovered Foote Florals after admiring one of Rebecca’s displays in Amity Coffee in Penn Yan. I am not a floral expert, but was immediately impressed by the beautiful, layered arrangement. I sent a photo to my aunt (who is a floral designer and helped plan our wedding) who agreed we should reach out to Rebecca straightaway and I am so glad we did.
During both of our in person consultations, and in her final product, Rebecca’s focus was to bring to life our vision. She helped guide us, but never imposed her own preferences and was always receptive to feedback. We both enjoyed working (and talking!) with Rebecca and could not have been more pleased with her work. -

I was a very anxious bride during the wedding planning process and Rebecca was the calm energy I needed to make me feel confident in my vision. I didn't really know what I wanted - just A LOT of greenery - and Rebecca brought it to life. When I saw the final tent, I wanted to call her immediately to thank her because I was blown away. She makes everything herself by hand and goes above and beyond for her couples. Florals were really important to me and I can't imagine working with anyone else. HIGHLY recommend Foote Florals! Rebecca went above and beyond our expectations. She listened to my ideas, my likes, and my vision while looking at my inspiration pictures. From there she continued to go back to her notes in order to follow-up with me with some new ideas and options. The organization through her client portal made it easy for us to stay in touch and on track; I never once worried or had difficulty working with her. On my wedding day I was completely taken back at her final products. She somehow combined my inspiration with my vision and created something I never would have imagined. I loved her personal touches, like her unique spin on the boutonnieres. I knew the arrangements were made with love and care because she pointed out which flowers were grown in her garden. And that's just the flowers! Her team assembled everything, included additional decor like candles and runners, and helped me come up with a take-down plan that would not add stress to my day. Working with Rebecca is a no brainer. -

From our first meeting with Rebecca we knew right away she was the person that we needed to to design and execute the floral pieces for our wedding. She was very thorough in our initial meeting finding out what our likes and dislikes were and asking the right questions to really understand what we were looking for. We did not give her much to work with besides the color scheme and a winter wedding and she hit it out of the park. She was so flexible when a month out I had reached out to her to tell her not only did we change our table layout but we also changed the shape of some of them so our original design was not going to work. Her arrangements were so perfect and elevated our venue space to complete our winter wonderland vision. Thank you so much Rebecca for all your hard work, we loved working with you! -

Oh my gosh where to start. Rebecca and Foote Florals are just simply amazing. She listens so intently on what you envision and she helped someone like me (who was not a big flower person) understand what works and what does not, what flowers work with others, what is in date, etc. I explained my style, how much I love texture, simplicity, elegance and "different." That is a lot...right? Well she literally nailed it and worked in our budget. The day was perfect and so many people commented to us on how they had never seen flowers so beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough. -

My initial email to Rebecca was over two years ago, and from the start I knew was working with an amazing person. I did not have a clearly defined theme, color scheme, or vision for my wedding, but I hoped that she could steer me down the right path. And she did! She helped me realize that my rambling ideas were actually cohesive, and through multiple phone discussions, emails, and pictures exchanged, she understood exactly what I was looking for but couldn't quite describe. Rebecca is sweet, thoughtful, detail-oriented and responsive. She was always willing to give me her time, and her joy and passion for what she does is so contagious. From summer 2019 when I first reached out, to summer 2020 when we had to reschedule the wedding, to 9/3/21 when our big celebration finally took place, she was flexible, understanding, and communicative. Last minute I asked to come see her studio and meet her in person and although she undoubtedly had a crazy summer of weddings she was so gracious and took my mom and I on a tour of her garden and shop. Of all the vendors we worked with, Rebecca was my favorite. Enthusiastic, accommodating, and genuinely caring about making your day as amazing as possible. We got so many compliments on the decor and bouquets at the wedding, and it was so wonderful to see everything come together even more perfectly than I could have imagined. Rebecca is a dream! She is meant to do this. Working with Foote Florals was an amazing experience and I HIGHLY recommend. -

Rebecca did an absolutely amazing job bringing my floral vision to life for my wedding! I cannot thank her enough for the tremendous work that was put in not only with how the flowers turned out but during the planning process. Rebecca was easy to work with, communicative, and worked with me to really understand my what I wanted. My wedding was held at the Inn at Glenora in Dundee, NY and even though it was a 90 degree and humid day, it did not impact her work. Thank you, Foote Florals! -

My husband and I were so fortunate to have been recommended to Foote Florals by our venue, Crispin Hill. We were a couple that was affected by the pandemic: our original plan was to get married in SC at the end of October, but due to the circumstances, we decided to cancel those plans in June and get married closer to home. We stumbled upon Crispin Hill and made the leap of faith (I think we were fully delusional at this point) to re-plan another wedding for the end of September--so long story short, we had 3 months to plan an entire wedding. Given the lack of time, we stuck to the venue's preferred vendor list, and we are so glad we did because that introduced us to Rebecca and the Foote Florals team. I remember being nervous for our first consultation. Due to losing a bunch of deposits down south, our budget was drastically cut and I knew (well I assumed) my original rustic, romantic vision full of greenery and candles was going to have to change. Luckily, Rebecca didn't even flitch at our budget and man, did she deliver. Not only did she somehow manage to stay within the budget but everything looked even better than I imagined. Rebecca and her team are knowledgeable and incredibly kind and genuine--I would highly recommend them to anyone and would choose them again in a heartbeat. -

I would very highly recommend Foote Florals for any upcoming weddings. Working with Rebecca was a dream! All communication was clear and easy and she made me feel confident about my vision from the getgo. Our consultation meeting in her studio was excellent. She took all my ideas and helped me refine my vision and then made it come alive! I was 100% confident in her expertise and professionalism. My bouquet was gorgeous, the arch was breathtaking, the florals on each table had that perfect boho, romantic vibe in vintage glass bottles, and she created two huge floral displays on barrels that got rave reviews from guests. Rebecca is the sweetest and I loved working with her! I'm someone who thought I could DIY wedding flowers and I was SOOO wrong. It's worth the beauty and professionalism and ease! -

Brought my ideas to life
Working with Rebecca was great! From the first phone call to the day of she was available for questions and was always timely in her response. When we had our first call with Rebecca we had no inspiration photos to share with her and no specific flowers that we wanted to include. Basically, she had to start from scratch, but she was patient and helpful in explaining what flowers would work best together and asking questions to get to know more about us and our style. She was able to take our ideas and build them into beautiful creations that helped make our day feel special. All of the floral details matched our outdoor venue but helped to elevate the area with pops of color and beauty. Working with Rebecca was awesome and we would definitely make the same decision if we had to do it over again. -

We originally had contacted Rebecca to do all the florals for our upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, our venue had cancelled on us, and our new venue was in a different location that was further away from Foote Florals than the previous. Rebecca then agreed to meet halfway between our new venue and herself where we would pick up the florals on the day of the wedding, which would have been fine. Then between May and September (4 months), she emailed me out of the blue saying that she did not think it would be possible for her to meet us halfway any longer. I questioned and wondered why she had agreed many months ago to this agreement; she claimed it would be in our best interest to come pick up the florals 4 hours away from our venue the night before since she no longer was going to meet us halfway. I explained this would be nearly impossible with a rehearsal dinner and other obligations. She advised for me to talk to my fiancé about the situation and we hung up. A short 3 hours later, she emailed me again, telling me she was cancelling our contract and giving me my deposit back and it was for “our best interest”. She did not even give me the dignity of a phone call to explain any of this, only an email. My fiancé decided to call her an hour after she cancelled to see what was going on since it was mostly happening over email and did not make much sense. Only a couple minutes in after my fiancé asking Rebecca a few questions, he was abruptly interrupted and she rudely explained that we must be too stressed out, have too much on our plates, and she was the one helping us even though we would had to find a new florist less than a year until the big day. She then said that she did not care that we were upset with her, she would not listen to any of our concerns, and then hung up the phone on my fiancé without any further conversation. I cannot believe anyone in the service industry would treat a client this way. I would never consider using Foote Florals for any event.Foote Florals LLC's reply:
I understand you and your fiancé are upset that we weren’t able to accommodate your new set of needs since your venue canceled. After a thorough explanation as to why it would not be in either your or my best interest to meet so far away, I looked up florists in your area to find one that had your date available and could accommodate your needs, after returning your deposit in full.
After I gave the same explanation to your fiancé over the phone, he started to berate me and didn’t think my quest to help find another florist was good enough. I hung up the phone after being spoke to very rudely and realizing I wasn’t able to please you or your fiancé.
As you can see from our other 5 star reviews we are a reputable and reliable family owned and operated business that goes above and beyond for our clients. We have tried so hard to help our couples affected by the pandemic. I’m sorry that the pandemic affected your circumstances and that we weren’t able to meet your specific needs.
I can see by your lengthy review you are still very upset. I know you said that you were excited to work together and you may be disappointed that circumstances and availability has changed.
I do still wish you and your fiancé the best and hope that things work out for you in your new venue. I have no doubt you’ll be able to find a wonderful florist in that area and will find it much more accommodating and less stressful to have a closer vendor.
