My fiance and I were a little last minute in booking our engagement shoot- but Forrest completely delivered despite being a little rushed. Our shoot was incredible- Forrest made us feel totally comfortable and we had SUCH a fun time shooting. He was extremely versatile and didn't mind braving the snowy Colorado weather we were faced with. I couldn't be more excited about our pics, either. I'll admit that I was pretty anxious because of the weather, but Forrest completely calmed our nerves and was SO versatile with the elements. :) We will definitely be using Forrest for all of our future shoots. It was obvious that he understood the importance of our engagement pictures and was patient while working with us, and extremely responsive afterwards. Our turnover time was short (which we REALLY appreciated since we booked so last minute, as I said. ;) ) Do yourself a favor and BOOK WITH FORREST!!! -

Forrest is the best photographer EVER!!! Not only will he capture your special day but he helps everything run smoothly! He was so relaxed and makes you feel super comfortable. I love the way he gives fun prompts to trigger genuine reactions- definitely not cookie cutter!! Your photos will be so unique and personal! Forrest was amazing to work with during COVID and with my husband being in the Navy. He is amazing with work with under any circumstance!! He is so understanding and flexible! He truly cares about his clients which made the experience even better!! If you want a personable, talented, and very professional photographer that will capture your special day FORREST IS YOUR GUY!!! He was worth every penny!! -

A picture is worth....
They say a picture is worth a thousand words but I truly believe, and can attest to it, that Forrest’s photos are worth so much more than that! I could write pages of praises about my experience with Forrest Blake Photography but I’ll try to be brief.
Forrest was so much more than a photographer for us, he helped plan and coordinate every aspect of our elopement.... and then did it again when we had to reschedule and plan in an entirely new state/environment/season due to wildfires..... and then again when I discovered a fear of heights the night before our elopement day. All without judgement, stress, complaints, or negativity! The day of our elopement he immediately made my husband and myself feel like we were just hanging out with an old friend. This meant the world to me and you can see how comfortable we are in all of the photos... none of the stiff, awkward, weirdness you’d expect when standing in front of a strangers camera all day.
And the photos, y’all, I AM OBSESSED!!!! I knew they’d be amazing but I did not know just how amazing they’d truly be. I want to share them with everyone, and do, and get endless compliments on them! And sure, it’s easy to make a bride or groom look good, but it isn’t easy to share the story of their day and feel the emotions and excitement in a still frame yet Forrest Blake Photography did that for me. I get to look back at my wedding photos and feel every emotion I did that day over and over.
So, to all of my brides or grooms out there, if you’re reading this and considering Forrest Blake Photography I would strongly encourage you reach out immediately and without hesitation. I could not have asked for a better photographer and friend through my elopement journey. -

Let's be honest, your wedding day is a rollercoaster of emotions and sometimes stressful. This photographer will make sure you are relaxed and enjoying every second of the day. He is always up for an adventure and nothing you want to do is too crazy for him. For example, my husband and I made him wake up at 1 AM so we could start our hike up the Tennessee mountains at 2 AM. He is a joy to be around and his pictures are absolutely breathtaking. I HIGHLY recommend this photographer! -

When planning engagement pictures I was so focused on the end result, wanting good pictures for my website and save the dates and not the event itself. What Forrest gave me was beyond that and more. Taking pictures was truly one of the best days my fiancé and I have had. Forrest made it a day about us spending time together, talking about where we have come from and where we are going. We laughed, shared memories and learned new things about one another. As a photographer, Forrest focused on who we were as people and not what we look like in a picture. I’m in love with the beautiful results but even more thankful for the day he gave me and the reminder that this whole wedding and event is about my fiancé and our commitment to one another.

My now husband and I highly recommend Forrest Blake Photo. I know finding a photographer who can capture the most intimate moments between you and the love of your life is a daunting task, but Forrest has a unique style, which lowered our natural guard and encouraged us to be US. When my husband and I envisioned our elopement photos we had MANY ideas. Forrest was able to narrow down all of our requests and focus in on capturing the reason you do an ELOPEMENT beach shoot; the element of water with romance! With Forrest’s help and couple’s homework it was easy to forget about the camera and SMILE. We knew a beach elopement shoot would be fun, but we had no idea just how amazing the photos would turn out. -

Forrest was not only AMAZING to work with as a vendor, but truly made my bride feel like the most astonishing bride she could be. As a hair + makeup artist, I get to be with the bride and her maids up until the very last moment of "I do's", which can be very stressful. Having a counter part professional to help make time feel so precious is key and I can't say another photographer has every help make this time feel so special. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any future weddings as well as would love to work with his again!! -

What I really appreciated about Forrest is that during the shoot, he asked us certain questions about our story and let us relive memories. It made the session feel more natural and comfortable. -

So easy to work with!
Forrest was beyond great to work with. He was vey easy to communicate with and so understanding/flexible with our contract considering the COVID impacts this year. I could not have asked for better communication. He caught many great moments, and also sent us a surprise video of the elopement, which was amazing. I'm so excited about having these photos to live on my wall for the rest of our lives! -

Forrest was great with getting us out of our comfort zone. The shoot was both silly and sweet, which we loved. He was able to capture our love and we could see the true emotion when we got the photos back. I would definitely recommend Forrest!
