On October 14th, 2022 we had our wedding at Four Oaks and had the best experience! From the atmosphere to the food & drinks, everything went perfectly! In the middle of planning, our original wedding planer had taken a leave of absence which was a bit stressful but her replacement was everything I hoped for in a wedding planner. Desiree was absolutely wonderful to you work with, her responsiveness was amazing and appreciated. She was on top of everything which really helped me out as the bride and to top it all off, she was and is a very kind person and was so easy to work with. I would recommend this venue and Desiree to any and all brides considering Four Oaks for their wedding venue :)

The Four Oaks Country Club and staff were just absolutely wonderful to us on our special day. The attitudes of the manager, and all the rest of the staff were beyond expectation. They made us feel at home, and like we were the most important people to them. We had originally booked another hall for our reception, but we were cancelled with only 2 months notice due to a booking problem. Finding another place can be difficult in such a short time period, but the Four Oaks took us in and gave us everything they could. Nancy was a delight to work with, and I couldn't believe how the rest of the staff treated us like we were their best friends throughout the evening. What a wonderful experience. The food was amazing too, many people at our wedding commented on how good it was. We can't thank you guys enough.

I had my wedding reception here on New Years Eve. It was perfect! They were so accommodating throughout the whole process. The food was delicious, staff was friendly, and venue looked beautiful! We could not have been any happier.

We had our wedding here in 2014 and it was absolutely amazing. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious! Nancy the wedding coordinator was so helpful and sweet. Our wedding was in October and the scenery was just perfect. Im currently pregnant with our second child and Ive been craving the eggplant parmigiano we had as a food option. So I called them up and Paul the restaurant manager helped me get a platter of it. Picked it up yesterday and it was just a delicious as I remebered it being! Such a wonderful choice for your wedding!

Four Oaks was the first venue we looked at when beginning our search for our July 19th, 2014 wedding. There was really no need to continue the search after seeing Four Oaks; it was everything we wanted. From day one, Nancy Woods guided us helped us schedule the date and guided us through the process of planning our wedding. Nancy provided us with so many resources to assist us in choosing many of the vendors for our wedding. She kept in contact with us frequently, and was always available to answer any questions leading up to the big day.

We held our rehearsal dinner at Four Oaks two days before the wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was elegant, and our family/wedding party could not have enjoyed the night any more.

Our ceremony was held on the patio outside of Four Oaks. The white chairs and archway provide a beautiful setting that would please any bride. The cocktail hour was held on the veranda out back which was a nice touch, and let the guests mingle outside with the spectacular views. The weather was nice, but even with a bit of rain the veranda would be a comfortable place to interact.

The reception in their ballroom was perfect. Excellent food, impeccable service, and the presentation of the ballroom was exactly what we wanted. We've been told by MANY guests that this was the nicest, most fun wedding they have ever been to, and we owe so much of that to Nancy and the great people at Four Oaks Country Club.

Four Oaks Country Club was the perfect choice for us. We had an absolutely gorgeous wedding that could not have gone any better and we were so happy with all that we got from Four Oaks, especially our coordinator there, Nancy Woods. We would HIGHLY recommend Four Oaks to anyone looking for a beautiful venue in New England!

Four Oaks was absolutely perfect. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. I didn't have to worry about anything because the wedding coordinator took care of it all. The food was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better venue!!!!

We recently got married at Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut MA. The location itself is beautiful. It sits on a hill surrounded by a beautiful golf course. The reception room is plain and could use something (not sure what) to make it feel a little less conference roomish. The view from the reception room and the veranda where cocktail hour is held is beautiful especially during sunsets.

The owner, Michael, did such a wonderful job the day of our wedding. The forecast called for rain but kept changing by the hour. I was told I needed to decide by 11am if I wanted to have the ceremony inside or out. Michael took time out of his day to call and reassure me that they would do anything they could to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. It was comforting to know that I had more time than I originally was given. He explained the back up plan if it was raining and really made me feel 1000 times better. Thankfully the sun came out and we didn't need plan b. He was also really great with helping the photographer get great photos around the golf course.

Nancy (event manager) and the event staff set up the room perfectly. Many of my guests made it a point to tell me how much they enjoyed their meals. The bartenders were very friendly with guests and always had a smile on their faces. Nancy and Keith, a manager in training I believe, did a great job being available for anything I needed all night.

One of the main reasons we chose Four Oaks Country Club was that it fit within our limited budget. It was very affordable and a beautiful setting for our wedding day. It truly turned out better than we could have ever expected. We definitely picked the right venue!

My two sisters and I are getting married within 18 months of one another and we booked our triple bridal shower at Four Oaks Country Club. Our theme was ice creams - The Shutes Got Scooped - and Four Oaks delivered! The gelato cart was the perfect detail to bring everything together. We offered the Deluxe Chef Attended Pasta Station for our guests for lunch. The chef was wonderful and the food was TO DIE FOR - still getting comments on how fresh and delicious everything was. We also pre-ordered two sangria bowls and offered a cash bar. The space was large and spacious for our above-average guest list. The music and sound system were great as our maids of honor MC'd the day. Truly perfect!

My fiance and my engagement party was at the Four Oaks Country Club. The covered terrace was gorgeous for cocktail hour. The event coordinator, Nancy was very helpful and flexible with my family's requests. They were also accommodating for two vegan guests we had. The day of waitstaff were very personable and responsive. We would definitely recommend having an event here,

Four Oaks Country Club really is the perfect setting. It is up on a hill, away from any noise, with spectacular views during the day and at night as well. Our pictures came out beautifully. The price was absolutely excellent for the location and quality of the food. The staff was generally great too. My only issue was with Nancy, the event coordinator. Up to the wedding, she was perfectly fine, despite every once in a while taking a long time and repeated emails to get a response.

The problems started and ended on the wedding day. She was rude to some of the vendors (that I know of the hair dresser and photographer who complained about her to me), the bridal party, parents of the bride and groom, and myself and the groom as well. I had no idea just how bad it was until our parents told us the days after the wedding. One side of the room only got 1 passed hors d'oeuvre, but we had 4 selected. The bridal party was promised that appetizers and water would be brought out while taking pictures outside. Not only was that not the case, but when a member of the bridal party went in to grab some food, he was screamed at and told he was not allowed to bring any food outside and that there would be food in the bridal suite for us after photos and before the introduction. Basically, we had 5 minutes after pictures to eat as much as we could in the bridal suite. She also screamed at the groom's mother when she asked if she was able to go into the bridal suite to switch shoes. At the end of the night after my husband and myself left, our parents and bridal party were left to clean up and pack up cars with our things. They were completely rushed and yelled at to get out as fast as possible.

Overall, the location, quality of food, and price were amazing. I would only ask that there be a new wedding coordinator or an assistant to deal with certain things the day of because the way everyone was treated was unacceptable.

I will start off my review with this is a beautiful venue, and the food was incredible, the best wedding food I have ever had. But if you are thinking about having your wedding here make sure you hire your own wedding planner, or at least day of coordinator. When I had booked, I was working with a lady named Kendra, but by the time my wedding I was working with Gina because Kendra was no longer there. There was another coordinator in between but I had very little interaction with her (who Gina would blame for anything that went wrong.) No one ever took the time to tell me that the venue coordinators I was working with was no longer there. But if Gina was the venue coordinator when I booked, I would not have booked this venue.
Gina takes a while to respond to your emails, and when she does, she clearly does not read them or look at your contract because a few times I had to correct her. I once sent an email she responded. I sent another a few days later with a completely different question and no response. I waited a week to follow up and she sent an extremely condescending email back, stating the day and time she responded and that her response must have gone to spam and answered the question from the previous email chain, not my current question. She never took payment 60 days out and when it was less than 2 weeks before my wedding, I had to ask her for the final bill, and I finally paid it 8 days before my wedding.
The day before my rehearsal Gina called and said, “you know you are supposed to be here right now?” and I said no my rehearsal is tomorrow. She then went and looked at the calendar and realized I was right. During rehearsal she had a bit of attitude and told people to stand in the wrong spots, and then when my MOH corrected them, her response was “this cannot happen tomorrow.” Day of the wedding my husband was dropping off the centerpieces and he had to wait an hour before she finally came to grab them from him. While he was waiting the staff setting up said she is so lazy, it will be a while before she comes up. Before the ceremony my shuttle left the hotel late, which no big deal. But Gina lied and told me the shuttle had arrived, so we gave the okay to start the ceremony. When my bridal party was lined up ready to go, and I was off to the side I saw my shuttle pull up and all the guests get off. She almost started my ceremony without a good chunk of my guests.
After the ceremony she gave no direction on where to have the guests go. Cocktail hour was supposed to be inside, but it somehow ended up outside. There were also supposed to be heaters out during the ceremony, but they were lined up against a wall and not on. For pictures there was no spot for us to take them. It was dark and cold, and an event in the other room. Gina came over to me and said “I don’t know if you were told there was a spot to take pictures but there’s not.” Be aware if you get married during the colder months and there is an event in the other room there is nowhere to take pictures. One of my bridesmaids had some words with Gina, and instead of going to anyone else in the bridal party she immediately brought it to me and my husband. Which was quite upsetting, she knew who my MOH was, and she could have gone over to her to ask her to talk to my bridesmaid. In the end once we sat for dinner, we never saw her again, or the other coordinator. They never came over asked how dinner was, or how everything was going. She never came to say goodbye and ask how everything went.

Let me just preface this review with saying this venue is beautiful and I can tell that the owner does care about her business. However, with that being said, there had been a laundry list of complaints for our wedding that was on 4/17/21. I don't feel the need to repeat this list as my husband already spoke to the owner, but I have a tip for engaged couples who are considering this for their venue.

If you are planning on booking this for your venue- let me just tell you right now that if you have the means, you need to book a wedding coordinator. The events coordinator does absolutely nothing to help. I understand it's a pandemic- but the lack of communication for months was very off-putting. If it wasn't for our amazing photographer, and friends, we would have been screwed.

I do want to mention this one piece because this was the part that upset me the most. The fact that the event coordinator didn't like my signage- and continued to move the sign so that guests went into the lobby rather than outside where the ceremony was, left me standing in this lobby. Therefore, a good portion of my guests saw me in my wedding dress BEFORE I even walked down the aisle. This really ruined my experience. And I'm still very much upset about it.

My husband tried to do the right thing by going to speak with the owner herself first, before just posting a review. What was discussed and the compensation we were told that we'd be given back doesn't match. I'm pretty salty about it- and I don't want to have another conversation about my experience, I just want to be given back the agreed amount that I feel we deserve.
