User1729403 Sent on 07/23/2014So....Ruth Anne is simple AMAZING!!!! Super flexible, super nice, and super affordable!!! She provides and sets up thetables and chairs, which was a HUGE deal sealer for me. The gardens are beautiful. You can bring any licensed vendor in (which is awesome, so many places restrict you! Catered ourselves and sS saved a TON!!). I can't say enough great things about this venue and the family that runs it. Beautiful people, beautiful venue. Thank you!!!!!! -
User1717137 Sent on 07/17/2014Fourth Street Gardens is absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are maintained so well and there are flowers everywhere! We got SO MANY compliments from our guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to. Ruth Ann is so sweet and easy to work with! We HIGHLY recommend it!

User863496 Sent on 07/14/2012She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She has over 300 chairs and many tables and she sets them up the way you ask for the receptions. She decorates the ceremony area and makes sure it's very elegant. Her venue is picturesque. My groom was so happy. My photographer was even excited about all her options. -
User1505858 Sent on 01/13/2014We had a horrible experience with this venue. The owner was great in the beginning when we first looked at the venue. She was helpful until the day of the wedding. The venue was beautiful but not up to the expectation that the owner created.....flowers in the wedding party's colors was not provided as she had stated in contract. The overall experience was a nightmare. The owner was VERY RUDE. We had problems with power in the Bridal Suite where the bride was getting ready. The power went out and she yelled at us saying that this has never happened before and that we were at fault. It was over 100 degrees and the owner had the a/c and a fan running. She wouldn't let a 2 year old ring bearer's mom take him to the bathroom because the mom wasn't in the wedding party. He was only 2 years old for crying out loud! The owner claimed that we trashed the rooms when my husband and I made sure it was tidy before the ceremony began. After the wedding was over, we had our cleanup crew, along with my family, clean up and she complained that we took too long and that she and her husband did all the work, which was not true. When we tried to help with the tables and chairs, they told us not to touch them. The contract stated that we had until 11Pm to vacate. We were finished cleaning well before 11PM. My husband and I were the last two to leave at 10:50PM because we made another walk-through to make sure everything was picked up. The bride cried because the owner was extremely rude on her wedding day. Sure it's a beautiful venue, but the service SUCKS! My other daughter is getting married this year, a good friend of our family is getting married this year, and another friend of ours as well. They all refuse to us this venue because of the way we were treated. Two of them were there with us and experienced the owner's bad attitude. I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND this venue. Brides beware. Your day should be a happy one.
