I cannot recommend Tara highly enough!
Tara was absolutely everything I hoped for in a wedding day stylist. She did my wedding trial (hair and makeup) as well as my wedding hair and makeup, and hair / makeup for some of my bridal party. She made me feel so comfortable and confident and customized my look to MY hair and skin specifically and made sure everything was 100% how I wanted it. I have VERY thick hair (which has caused trouble for other stylists….) and I don’t wear a ton of makeup usually but I couldn’t have been more pleased with how my wedding day look turned out. My bridal party was beyond happy with Tara’s services for them as well. One of my bridesmaids is engaged and was encouraged to book with Tara’s salon after my wedding day! I cannot recommend Tara highly enough! My only regret is that I don’t live local to Tara full time for glam in the future. -

Tara was professional and quick to respond during the entire planning process and her work is STUNNING! I told her a few things that I liked and she even looked at other photos of me to get an idea of what I usually wear before she came to the wedding. I was blown away by my bridal makeup and she was so lovely to work with. She (and her team) did both hair and makeup for my bridesmaids as well and everyone looked beautiful. I felt so beautiful and confident the entire day. She left a touch-up kit for the day, but I never even needed it even though it was very hot and I was sweating all day. I highly recommend hiring Tara for your bridal makeup. -

Tara did such an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding! I had a larger bridal party & she and another artist did the makeup for all of the bridesmaids, myself, and all the moms and grandmas! I felt beautiful & looked beautiful! She is so sweet & professional and knows so much about makeup! I highly recommend her for any of your makeup needs! -

My experience working with Tara was nothing short of amazing! She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day with her personable and sweet spirit. She fully understood my preferences as a bride and exceeded all of my expectations with both my hair and my makeup! All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well. I felt so beautiful and glamorous yet still myself. She is one of my vendors who I now refer to all of my soon-to-be bride friends! If you can't already tell, I cannot recommend hiring Tara enough!! -

Great experience!
Tara was absolutely amazing to work with from scheduling my trial to my wedding day. Even when I had questions after the trial, Tara was very responsive in answering. On my wedding day, Tara and her team did a fantastic job making myself and all of my bridesmaids looked so beautiful and glam. Great experience! -

Absolutely amazing!
My experience with Tara was amazing! Her and Paige came on my wedding day & Paige did a absolutely amazing job, my makeup was better than I could’ve ever imagined. It was flawless. Made me have a worry free day knowing that my makeup & hair were going to stay in place and it all looked good. I changed artists last minute & I was so afraid of ending up looking bad (not because of the Artist) but because of my skin, I have acne & very dry textured skin, and once I saw my makeup I was absolutely blown away! -

Tara is just the BEST!!! I got married last weekend and she did my makeup, as well as my mother’s and my sister’s, and we absolutely loved it. She made sure that each one of us looked unique, and that we were happy with the looks. Good quality products, the makeup was intact until the time we took it off and it looked great in pictures!
She wasn’t only very professional and talented, she was also very sweet and easy to work with. Price was very reasonable also. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great makeup artist. :) -

Tara was so incredible to work with for my wedding. Her talent for bringing out and enhancing natural beauty is without comparison. She did makeup for myself, my mother and maid of honor and it turned out better than I could have hoped for. She was extremely patient with me and made sure that I was happy both during the trial and on wedding day making, sure everything was perfect. My makeup was exactly what I wanted and lasted the entire wedding day and evening. There is so much surrounding a wedding that can be stressful so it was such a relief to know I didn’t have to worry about my makeup at all. Tara was also just an incredible human being who seemed to actually listen, care and deliver AND she’s hilarious, which really helped with the wedding jitters! Thank you so much Tara!! -

Hi. I have curly/wavy hair and wanted to keep that theme for my wedding. I went to 2 other hair stylists before finding Tara. I knew right away, she was "the one". It may sound corny but hair is everything on your wedding day. She was flexible with numbers, as I didn't have bridal party and did fabulous hair for my family and flower girls. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she's fun to work with too. Highly recommend Tara for your wedding hair! -

User2092266 Sent on 04/09/2015Tara did my make-up for a wedding at a private club in NY. She also helped with my mom and a friend. She did a great job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely patient with my mother (who insisted on an odd eye shadow color) and make everyone happy.
Lastly, I think her rates are very reasonable for NYC--I would highly recommend her.
