Save Maumee appreciates Freemason’s Hall supporting our local nonprofit. The venue is exquisite and one of the most beautiful and original landmarks in Fort Wayne. The tours were knowledgable and insightful of the period it was built. I would recommend this for any event that you wanted to be classy.Freemason's Hall's reply:

We had a great experience at The Free Masons Hall! Not only is a beautiful hall but the people that work there are so nice and very informative. We had such a wonderful wedding here! The price was very affordable as well!Freemason's Hall's reply:

Excellent venue
This place was PERFECT! Plus, if someone in your immediate family is a Mason then you get a discount which is nice when planning and paying for a wedding.
I liked that the walls and pillars were white because we were able to add color with live places, decoration, design, and lighting!
Great space for a large reception, we did not feel cramped and we had 200-250 people attend. The tables were pre set for us which was wonderful all we had to do was give them an outline of what we wanted. They gave us the day prior and day after to do set up and final clean up.
Everyone there was wonderful go work with, plus many caterers have worked in this venue so they were able to come in and do there thing without any help from me which was stress free.
Great venue, great price, and it made for wonderful memories! -

Looking for venues to hold our wedding stopped at the Fort Wayne Masonic Temple. After seeing the building, we knew that it was the only place that we could live out our dream day.
They day before we had our family dinner, and got everything setup the way we wanted. The building staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. And by the end of the evening, we were ready to go for out big day.
The day of the wedding was incredible. The bridesmaids were all on 2nd floor, taking pictures, and relaxing. My soon to be husband was with his groomsmen, were on 5th floor in the red room. It was so nice to have these massive spaces to have access to.
Then I took the elevator up to 5th floor, and could not believe how incredible everything felt, when I walked down the isle. I was so happy to be there, and have everyone else, I think we had about 200 guests in attendance for the wedding. But going up onto the stage, and being able to have everyone be comfortable and able to see and hear everything was perfect. Our ceremony was perfect and as we were leaving the auditorium, I was so thankful that I could go to my own retreat, and get my dress bustled, and breath a little bit, before we went to the ballroom for dinner.
Again, the layout of the building could not be more perfect for a wedding and reception. Everyone was already in the ballroom, and the DJ announced our entrance as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time! I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to have everything all in one location. No one had to drive, no one had to worry about parking. Everything is all in one place.
We danced and drank until my hubby reminded me, to sooner we leave, the sooner we can get on our honeymoon. As much as I didn't want to leave the incredible building, I knew it was time for our day to be over, that and it was midnight anyway.
But everything went exactly the way that I had hoped it would be when we started planning nearly a year ago. I do want to thank the staff, because they made this day even more special. All our guests were treated exceptionally. And the building was just so clean and ready for us to have our day.
All of my friends commented on how incredibly unique it was inside this amazing building, and my married friends were all jealous, and my unmarried ones remarked that they would like to have their weddings here.
If you want the best for your wedding day, you can't go wrong in selecting this venue. I would highly recommend it.Freemason's Hall's reply:

Cassie Sent on 04/05/2018This venue is gorgeous! I would recommend using tablecloths with some color. This venue has an auditorium on the top floor, another floor has a "game room", there are many places for your bridal party to get ready if needed, there is also a mezzanine that over-looks the main floor. Each floor costs a different amount, so you can use as little or as much of the venue as you can afford.
We had about 250 guests at our wedding and it did not feel cramped, which was a big concern for me.
It can be a bit dark inside, so definitely use some uplighting on the walls (our DJ, Alomar Entertainment, provided our lighting). The venue does not allow uplighting on the pillars inside for safety reasons.
We were able to pay extra to decorate the morning before the wedding. It can be hard to reach anyone at the venue because they are only open a few days during the week for a few hours. Clean-up was difficult because we could not get into the venue the next day.
The staff was very sweet and helpful!
There is a large Freemason sign above the head table, which is beautiful, but did not fit my wedding. I made a large wreath to cover the sign, which worked perfectly! I would recommend that over trying to cover it with a backdrop.
I brought my own hand soap (it was included in my bathroom baskets), so I would recommend that as well. It's simple but kind for your guests. We rented chairs from A Party Apart. We used risers provided by the hall and covered them with black fabric.
I am so glad that my husband and I stumbled across the Freemason Hall, we really enjoyed our experience!
