    Loved this salon!

    I got married in August 2023, and I am so happy that I chose Fresh Aire Spa and Salon for my hair and makeup! They were so fantastic to work with, and Danielle made everything so easy in terms of scheduling, planning, etc. And I worked with Tracie for my hair and makeup and wow did she do an absolutely amazing and stunning job! I wasn’t exactly sure how I wanted my makeup to look, but she did it even better than I could have imaged and made me feel so comfortable at my trial and on my wedding day. She also gave me an awesome suggestion on how to do my hair, and it was even better than I could have imaged because she was able to keep my hair down and curled (which I prefer) and still wear my floor-length veil. Fresh Aire Spa and Salon was also super understanding about my maid of honor’s makeup allergies and was able to find a way to make it work for everyone. They are seriously the best! If you’re looking for a phenomenal hair and makeup team in the Asheville, NC area, I can’t recommend Danielle, Tracie, and Fresh Aire Spa and Salon enough!

    Wonderful wedding experience!

    Tracie and Marisa provided wedding hair/makeup for me, my bridal party, mom and MIL and we had a wonderful experience! They were fun additions to the getting-ready process making everyone feel beautiful and confident, and they are just fun to talk to! Tracie also put small flowers in my hair and it was so beautiful! Would highly recommend!

    A Perfect Experience

    I booked Fresh Aire for my bridal hair and makeup as well as a manicure. From the second I walked in I felt welcomed and pampered. My nails looked beautiful! When I met my hair/makeup artist Tracie, I knew she could pull off the moody, ethereal look I was going for. She made me look better than I ever could have imagined! She was a dream to work with and the phrase "going above and beyond" doesn't even come close to describing how appreciative I am for the work she put in for me on my wedding day. Thank you!!!

    Wedding Hair & Make-Up Services

    Fresh Aire Salon has been great from the get-go! I used The Knot for my wedding planning and for contacting vendors. Within minutes after reaching out to Fresh Aire, I received a response, and they continued to be just as responsive throughout my wedding planning journey. The hair and make-up trial was wonderful and Tracie took her time to help me achieve the look I wanted for my big day. I always felt heard with my requests for my looks! Tracie is punctual, talented, professional and great at communicating! I was glad I could confidently trust her in doing my hair and make-up beautifully for my wedding! The air brush make-up was amazing and the lashes transferred so well to photos. I highly recommend Fresh Aire Salon for wedding hair and make-up services as well as for regular salon services—Tracie is awesome at cut and coloring!

    Tracie was truly a lifesaver!

    I can’t recommend Tracie or Fresh Aire Bridal enough!! Long story short, my original hair and makeup artist quit on me about 60 days before my wedding. With this being a destination wedding, needless to say I was panicking! The stars aligned and Tracie was available for my date. She was incredibly kind and professional from the beginning, and is truly an artist! She was a powerhouse on my wedding day and kept everything running smoothly. I’m so thankful I found her!!

    A+ Highly Recommended

    I can’t say enough about Fresh Aire! They went so far above and beyond in getting us all ready, and can roll with the punches like they anticipated it all.

    Mother of the bride who needed her hair and makeup redone due to hot flashes? (poor mom)-No problem. Capricious bridesmaid who needed something different in the moment-service with a smile. Plus, Tracie is kind and empathic. She’s got her finger on the pulse of what’s happening and can read the energy in the room. Thanks for being wonderful. I’m only getting married once, but if I do it again, I’ll call them!

    Best Way to Start Your Wedding Day!

    A very close family friend recommended Fresh Aire Spa to me and I'm so grateful that she did! It was the perfect place to get ready with my bridal party the morning of my wedding. The salon is so cozy & beautiful with a very relaxing atmosphere, the women who work there are beyond accommodating and went over and beyond to make sure our experience was special!     The perfect fit!

    Fresh Aire Spa was an absolutely perfect fit for my wedding needs. They worked with my schedule, were extremely responsive to my questions, and treated me and my bridesmaids wonderfully the day of the wedding! I was impressed with the services they provided and the quality of service, and would recommend them to any bride getting married in the Weaverville area!

    Highly recommend!

    I have nothing but good things to say about Fresh Aire Spa and Salon! They did hair and makeup for my sisters, mom, MIL and me, and all of us felt beautiful. It was a relaxing start to the wedding morning in a cozy environment, and communication leading up to the big day was fantastic. All of the stylists and artists were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

    Amazing!!!

    I had been to Fresh Aire before my wedding day for facials and hair services and they were phenomenal! And then my wedding day Danielle and her staff were such professionals and all stars they made the day stress free and enjoyable and everyone left looking gorgeous!!!

    Wedding Day

    We absolutely loved working with this vendor. They were so sweet, chatty, and attentive during their whole time with us. They weren’t pushy when we needed a moment to get something else done. They were so kind and patient with everyone. We also added a person very last minute and they were very accommodating. Not only did they make it work but made her look fabulous. Everyone loved their hair and makeup! We could not have been happier with our experience.

    Wedding day fun

    Fresh Aire spa helped me by having a great space for my bridal party to relax in the morning while enjoying the big day! They hired separate stylist for make up and hair and brought them to their space. It was quaint, feminine and a good value for my budget. Would recommend for anyone needing hair and make up services for a special event.

    Fresh Aire - November

    The Fresh Aire Spa and Salon staff were very nice and made it really easy to coordinate a pre-wedding trial-run and wedding-day hair-and-makeup session. Tracie is super friendly and wonderful to work with; all of my bridesmaids loved chatting with her. She made everyone feel comfortable and heard, and ultimately beautiful! She took the example photos I had imagined and created a look that matched exactly what I was hoping for: a 1920s style, perfect for the Asheville area!

    I think timing was off-of-schedule as she was trying to finish all hair-and-makeup before the photo session (despite the first part of the photos were reserved for only bride and groom), so we were delayed by 45 minutes in the end. Nothing major, but it took away from the photo time that we had.

    Wedding hair and makeup

    The place was cute and they were nice enough, but did not listen to me (the bride) about what I wanted for my hair. I showed the stylist a picture and asked if she could do that with my hair… she right away said yes. As the bride I was the last one to get my hair done and things were already running behind… the stylist gave me some kind of weird hair-do where I looked like George Washington. I had to have her fix it and try to make it look more like what I’d ask but it ended up looking nothing like the picture. She then was like oh well for your hair this is how I have to do it… but then why did you say the style would work with my hair? Also I have very easy to work with hair… long and wavy and easy to manipulate. I had other styles to chose from and it would have been very easy to just go with a different one to begin with. I also showed the make up artist a picture or two and asked her to do something very natural, specifying that I didn’t want a caked on face… my brows were so thick and dark and the layer of make up on my face was so thick and even paler than I already am. I really wish I would have gone for a test run. Also, at the end, the manager and hair stylist were sitting at the desk whispering about something and made me feel really uncomfortable.

    Warning: brides, stay away!

    Booked a bridal trial months in advance - tried to call the day before to confirm and couldn’t get an answer. Drove from out of town and when I show up, no one is there, and when I called the lead stylist, they had no idea of the appointment (although they had been the ones to book it). They scrambled to find another date, but what is the point of booking someone who can’t keep up with their schedule? If they can’t be reliable for a trial, why would you trust someone to be reliable on a wedding day? Brides, stay away!

    Elizabeth, we truly apologize for the scheduling error we made and we feel terrible about it. We are usually closed on Sundays and Mondays and while we open for brides and trials to accommodate everyone's schedule sometimes we make mistakes. We take it very seriously and would do anything to make it right. We offered to reschedule your trial for your October wedding free of charge, but I understand that you declined. If there is anything we can do to make the situation right please let us know. You can call me directly any time at 828-231-9996.
