Cannot reccomend this space enough. The staff is attentive, accommodating and super helpful. Roxy the event coordinator was a gem and made sure everything went off without a hitch! The inn is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and so nice. Nice cozy wood fire in our room made the nights so romantic. The food it top notch and plentiful. I really cannot put into words how happy we are with our wedding. The inn is perfect. The cost was affordable and we are more than content with everything in our wedding package
Lots of choices so you can make it as stream lined or extravagant as you want. All around pefect experience.

Roxy was amazing at jumping in and creating the wedding we hoped for. She decorated a beautiful space and thought of things that we never would have. This is a perfect spot for an intimate wedding! I dreaded planning a wedding and the FLI took out all the work so we were able to just arrive and focus on each other and our guests.

We had a terrific wedding at Friends lake Inn, our room was clean, and spacious. The food was terrific. Roxy our event coordinator made sure our wedding stay was perfect. Also her cake was amazing, I dream of eating our wedding cake again.
Before our wedding their was some communication issues as different employees took over our event. Yet the day of the wedding was perfect.

Turnover causing our wedding to be explained to 3 different coordinators. Extremely stressful planning process. Current coordinator is not experienced in weddings. Overall would not recommend.

We were looking to have a small intimate ceremony in the Adirondacks and chose the petite wedding package for our ceremony. The Friend’s Lake Inn was the perfect setting for our Fall hand fasting.
One of the best parts about the Friend’s Lake Inn wedding package is that everything you need is onsite and there is no need to travel. Julie, our wedding coordinator, was fantastic and made each part of the day transition seamlessly. She was communicative and her coordination skills were exemplary. 
The Inn had rustic historic charm, and some rooms have working fireplaces! Everyone was impressed with how friendly, helpful and professional the staff was. 
The grounds were gorgeous and the perfect setting for our wedding photographs. 
Overall, we were very pleased and would highly recommend this venue.

During our wedding planning phase, we struggled to find a place that was what we wanted, perfect for our special day. Then we found Friends Lake Inn. We knew immediately pulling into the parking lot that we would most likely be going home, knowing we found our venue. After touring the facility and sitting with Julie, we did exactly that. This place is elegant, charming, cozy and warm. It was the perfect place for our intimate wedding ceremony and reception of 40 people. Julie and all the staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our entire day. The food is amazingly delicious, the accommodations are outstanding. The place is warm and cozy and tastefully decorated. We received so many compliments from all of our guests, most of which spent the night at the end as well. Our wedding was November 25, so it was chilly, but our photographer was wonderful and was able to capture some beautiful outside photos with the snow in the background. We could not have settled on a more perfect place truly a wonderful experience. We are looking forward to going back for a nice meal and an overnight stay in the near future we both highly recommend this place.

Suzanne and I have nothing but praise for Friends Lake Inn. Are experience exceeded or expectations. The high-level of personal service and attention made our weekend very special for our family and friends. We rented nearly all the rooms in FLI for a weekend wedding, and this provided us with more opportunities to spend time together. It is a beautiful venue, which we took advantage for our outdoor wedding ceremony.

As someone who had never thought she would get married and certainly never dreamed up a perfect wedding day, I was so pleasantly surprised that my wedding day at the Friends Lake Inn was, in fact, perfect! From the moment we met Julie, the coordinator, we were put at such ease with her calming presence, and we knew we were dealing with a serious professional. The communication in the months leading up to the wedding was so easy, as was all of the planning- because we didn't have to do any of it! The Friends Lake Inn provides their own delicious food, connects you to their partnered florist, bakery, hair/makeup, photographer and officiant. All of the above were incredible- my flowers were beautiful, the cake was delicious, I felt beautiful, the photographer made us feel so comfortable, and the officiant helped us put together a beautiful ceremony honoring my husbands Ukrainian culture. The day itself was so easy- my husband and I had so much fun, and had no stress whatsoever. It was the perfect location for 40 of our closest friends and family as many of them stayed at the beautiful Inn and were able to experience the beautiful Adirondacks. The staff are all outstanding- the service of the fantastic food and drinks were incredible, and many of my guests are still talking about how this was the best food at a wedding they had ever had. The value of the whole package was so worth it- I was always one that couldn't believe that people would spend so much money on weddings. We received the most perfect day for an incredibly reasonable pricing package where everything was done for us. I cannot say enough good things about this place, and my husband and I plan to return several times in the future to reminisce!

We had a fantastic time getting married at the Friends Lake Inn. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and get married outside in the scenic grounds. There was a great room downstairs for me, the bride, to get changed and ready in. After the ceremony there was also an open bar and game room for everyone to relax while the dinner was being prepared. Jullie collected all of our personal decorations and the staff did a fantastic job at setting everything up. There was a slight hiccup with our menu, but the staff adjusted and made sure we all had fantastic food with plenty of options, even if it was not what we originally planned. The included breakfast was also delicious. We stayed in the cabin with a full kitchen, living area, and dinette. This was very useful since all of our guests could hang out with us, since they were coming from out of town. We finished the night outside together by the fire pit.

Friends Lake was the perfect package of what we were looking for, for our wedding. We wanted a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for our friends and family to enjoy our weekend with us and Friends Lake fit the bill perfectly. From our welcome dinner Friday night for family and friends to our September 16th ceremony everything went as smoothly and stress free as you would like for your big day. Jullie's knowledge and trust in the vendors they work with took allot of our stress away from managing all of the details. Thank you to all the Friends Lake staff for an amazing weekend for our commitment to each other!

My wife and I were married here and there is no question that this was the best day of our lives. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to get married. You will love your room and your family will have a blast.

Our wedding at Friends Lake Inn, within the Adirondacks was magical. We loved how Jullie coordinated with the vendors and took away much of the anxiety related to planning a wedding. The vendors for the hair & makeup, cake, flowers, and photography were absolutely fabulous. The food at Friends Lake is incredible. We received many compliments on how much fun people had at the wedding. And nearly everyone that gave us comments also added how good they thought the food was. The wine is spot-on too. Definitely sign up for the tasking if you are able to. Everyone on staff at FLI is so very friendly and welcoming and professional. The beds have the softest sheets and the Lake rooms have real fireplaces with firewood ready for you. If you are looking for a relaxing, romantic, intimate (we had just over 30 guests), scenic Adirondack venue, then this is the place for you to get married.

We just got married here on 2/03/23. It was amazing and so easy. We planned on having a small wedding and I personally wanted to be as hands off as possible and this was the perfect fit. Jullie (wedding coordinator) was very easy to work with, helped with the planning and the day of coordination. the inn itself is lovely. The food at the wedding was delicious and all of the vendors were great as well (cake, flowers, hair and makeup). The vendors reached out a few weeks prior to the wedding to get my input on certain things and that was the extent of work on my end. All of our guests loved the food and the rooms they stayed in. The staff was excellent as well - the bartenders and the servers!! Would absolutely recommend for an elopement or small wedding!!! Awesome locations for pictures too, indoor and out.
The final price we paid was $5274 which includes the tab of an open bar we had from 2-9 (came to $717 if I remember correctly). The package we chose was the Adirondack petite wedding package which includes 14 guests.

Friends Lake Inn made our dream wedding a reality. The location is scenic, the staff is accommodating, and every detail was accounted for. I want to thank Jullie and the wonderful folks behind the scenes at the Friends Lake Inn for their help with our petite wedding.

We chose a wedding package that suited our needs, and we were able to add or subtract amenities as needed. The Arch and wedding area are absolutely gorgeous, with every portion of the property set up for picture perfect moments. The Inn itself has gorgeous rooms for guests with lots of space, and plenty of privacy in the cabin as needed. Friends Lake Inn also partners with fantastic local vendors who all exceeded our expectations.

We had an amazing wedding and absolutely wish that weekend wouldn't end. We can't wait to come back to visit and relive the memories made at Friends Lake Inn all over again.

On October 1st of this year we got married at Friends Lake Inn. We have always loved the Adirondacks and wanted a small initimate wedding so we decided to follow through with Friends Lake Inn. We first visited in January 2022 where we stayed overnight and had an amazing dinner where all the accommodations, the staff, and the beauty of the inn won us over. Jullie worked closely with us all year to ensure everything went smoothly. She was very responsive anytime I had any questions. She coordinates the flowers, cake, officiant, photographer, menu, hair and make up, basically everything. It took the stress out of planning for all those things especially being from out of town. We had our ceremony outside by the willow tree which was so beautiful during this fall season and had our reception inside the inn and then afterwords ended the evening with music and a bonfire outside on the property. The food and the drinks are truly amazing, all of our guests raved about it. The wedding weekend was everything we imagined and more. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary next year!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. First of all, their packages are extremely comprehensive and affordable. I didn’t have to worry about finding any of my own vendors (and the vendors they work with are top-notch). Jullie, their wedding coordinator, was a dream to work with and made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly on the day! I truly would not have changed a thing. And the food is absolutely fantastic!!!

We were treated like the top guests for our wedding. Anything and everything we wanted was accommodated. The location and rooms are beautiful. All of our guests want to stay there again for their own mini vacations. Would totally recommend this option for the bride and groom looking to spend quality time with the people who matter most to them.

The team that helped pull off our wedding was exceptional! The food was amazing and raved about, the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day, and it was beautifully decorated! The weather was rain in and out and yet somehow I hardly noticed! They were prepared for anything and that was superbly impressive! My husband and I were so thankful to be able to spend two nights at the Inn afterwards and that was just perfect! Everyone was so kind and breakfast was great too!!! Jullie, our overall coordinator, was the sweetest! She was so helpful and ran the show smooth!!!! All of our guests had an amazing time together and agreed, it was a beautiful choice for us to get married and unite at Friends Lake Inn and I would recommend it to any future Mr and Mrs!!!!

We had a great time. They took care of everything the officiant, dinner, cake, flowers 💐 We were able to just sit back relax and enjoy. We stayed in the beautiful private cabin.

We had an incredible wedding at Friends Lake Inn! They had a great bundle that took the anxiety out of finding other resources! We paid Friends Lake and they paid all the vendors! Incredible! Breath taking! Accommodating! Stunning! An amazing time and experience! As a bride, I’d choose it again and again! Amazing stay, food, open bar, scenery, bride and groom rooms and service! So much more for an unbeatable price and experience!

We eloped! FLI was the perfect place for our small but sweet ceremony with just the 2 of us. Jullie was fantastic with answering all my questions from the start. And with her as our witness it really felt like we had an old friend at the ceremony. Holly the officiant performed a beautiful ceremony. I think she was made to officiate! She added 2 poems before the vows that really added a special touch. Jason our photographer made us feel at ease even though we are camera shy! He stayed in touch leading up to the ceremony as well and was very helpful with any questions we had. He came up with perfect idea to take some casual photo's in the FLI Birch Bistro where they have a beautiful tavern space. Endless places for photos on the property with flowers, trees, the small pond and bridge and waterfall and stone pathway. Did I mention we could hear the soft waterfall over the rocks during our ceremony? It was just perfect. My new husband and I cried like babies throughout the vows and it was really just such a special and sweet experience. I wouldn't have changed a thing! We choose the Cabin for a 2 night stay and we didn't want to leave. It's a cozy home away from home and you won't want t leave the private screened porch. Everything you could need is there and the bathroom with steam shower and huge soaking tub puts it over the top! I don't know if I should say the food and the staff were even better than getting married... but they were close! We felt like old friends with every FLI staff we met. Jullie and Betty and our wedding night dinner server from Tennessee who's name I wish I could remember and the bright and friendly server who took great care of us at breakfast ... all of the staff... just outstanding. We were pampered for sure! Oh and they snuck a chilled bottle of champagne into the Cabin while we were at dinner for an after dinner surprise! They really think of it all. The food might need a whole review of it's own but I'll try to fit it here. EXCELLENT!!! Everything is fresh and local and their kitchen staff is clearly very talented. Whatever you do, don't skip their breakfast! Eggs made to order with local Oscar's maple sausage and make sure to get the english muffin with their housemade strawberry orange jam. Heaven! And the dinner we had on our wedding day was honestly one of the best meals we've ever had. Everything was just incredible. You are probably thinking that this review is too good to be true but our elopement and our stay at FLI truly was a very special experience from start to finish and we can't say enough about it. We choose FLI and trusted them with our special day and they nailed it. Thank you FLI staff! We can't wait to return for a visit one day soon!

If you're looking for a petite wedding venue that does it all, look no further! From beginning to end, there wasn't a single need or want that wasn't addressed expertly and professionally.
To start, Friends Lake was just another venue on a long list of options for us. We were looking for a small venue on a tight budget and a tighter time-line. Nothing seemed to fit our needs, until we came across Friends Lake Inn. An afternoon talking with Jullie (event coordinator), and a lovely dinner for two was all it took to sell us on having our country chic wedding with them. Not only was the price super affordable, but we were able to customize everything! From family style dinner, to what we wanted served at the bar!
As for the package deal, they cover everything and everyone. Chef Josh and crew were on point in the kitchen since day one of choosing them. Every single guest commented on it being the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. Not just flavorful, but locally sourced as well. The florist met our color scheme needs. The photographer was incredibly nice and even got us a sneak peak of some photos before the day was even over! The baker covered some dietary restrictions at NO extra cost all the while making a delectable cake and extra matching cupcakes. And the real kicker, all of them work regularly with Friends Lake. Well acquainted with everyone, knew the venue in and out, no hiccups no problems. Even Holly, the officiant was recommended by Jullie.
The inn itself is a perfect setting on its own. A quiet, scenic, rustic charm of a setting nestled in upstate NY a stone throw from the Lake George area. The rooms were elegant but cozy. And not to mention romantic. Nothing like a king size bed, a roaring fire place and a mountain breeze at the window to melt away any woes.
All in all. We could not thank Julie and everyone else at Friends Lake Inn for providing us with our dream wedding.
