  I am so glad that the Rusty Pelican recommended that my now husband and I contact Joe and Sharon! They helped us have the best wedding dessert ever! We loved that we were able to get a variety of flavors of cupcakes, it made the decision a little easier. All of Frostings, etc's flavors are amazing. We ended up uses the cookie dough, red velvet, smores, and vanilla. We could not be happier that we went with Frostings! Our guests loved all the flavors and we loved how easy Joe and Sharon made it to plan. Our meeting with Joe was my now husband's favorite part of wedding planning, 1. because he got to try so many amazing cupcakes and 2. because Joe was the first vendor to ask his opinion and not just defer to me. The fact that Joe made my then fiance feel so important was one of many reasons that we love Frostings! When you book with Frostings, be prepared for the best cupcakes and cakes ever! Thank you for the fabulous cake Joe and Sharon!

  My husband and i got married at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa, we only had a few places that we could choose from for our wedding cake/cupcakes. Frosting's is the company we chose and boy are we happy we did! We decided to do cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. This company was so helpful and making our process so easy to choose what we wanted. The tasting was a great experience and we even got to take home the ones we couldn't finish tasting. We chose 3 flavors, chocolate, red velvet, and cookie dough. They are the best cupcakes I've ever had and the frosting is truly amazing.

  My daughter was married at Rusty Pelican and we had 3 choices to get the wedding cake/cup cakes from and Frostings was by far the very best quality. They were very accommodating regarding vegan cupcakes. Our guest raved about the 5 cupcake flavors we take. I would highly recommend Frostings because everything is made from scratch and the taste is amazing.

  If you want the best cake or cupcakes ever for your event, Joe is the guy to see at Frostings, etc. Fantastic service, exceptional taste...our guests were blown away by how amazing his cupcakes were!

  The one thing people complimented us on all night were our cupcakes. I promise you will not find anything like it. We shopped around and when we tried their cake, we knew this would be the talk of our wedding. Joe is an awesome guy and treats you like family. You have to give them a try.

  Terrific! Joe was a pleasure to work with, professional, efficient and hilarious! He told us once we had a contract we were like family and thats exactly what it felt like. All of our guests raved about the cupcakes we had for our wedding (chocolate guiness, pear champagne and key lime) My only regret is not ordering more of the chocolate guiness because they vanished in no time. My brother is getting married in May and after eating the cupcakes at our wedding he is having them do his as well. You won't regreat working with Joe and his partner.

  We are not big into tradition, so we did not need a cake to cut. We went with all cupcakes. We did a "Bride's Pick" Champagne Pear and "Groom's Pick" Guinness Chocolate. All night people were asking where our cupcakes were from! Over a year later people are still raving about them. They were delivered and set up at the venue in a timely manner with no issues. My maid of honor returned the stands to Frostings Etc the next day.

  Instead of a cake we had 4 different types of cupcakes and a small cut cake. All of our guests LOVED the cupcakes. They were moist, delicious, and absolutely delightfully decorated! Our small cut cake was exactly the size and flavor we wanted. If you have guests that love sweets, Frostings Etc. is THE place for cupcakes! 3 days after our wedding, we are still eating the cupcakes and they taste AMAZING!

  Delicious cupcakes! We had four different flavors for our wedding and they were a hit! Our guests loved them and so did we. Not only did Joe deliver amazing cupcakes, but he also handled my special requests flawlessly. I needed several vegan cupcakes for a guest - they were just as delicious and he made sure they weren't put out with the rest of the cupcakes so they weren't taken by people other than the guest they were intended for. He's easy to work with and very flexible. Definitely recommend.

  This vendor makes the MOST AMAZING cupcakes!!!! We had the Salted Chocolate Caramel cupcakes, Fluffer nutter cupcakes, Pear Bellini cupcakes, and Red Velvet cupcakes. Everyone at our wedding had nothing but great things to say!! Joe was more than willing to help with our wedding needs!

  Frostings, Etc. did an amazing job! This cupcake shop just opened up on Howard in the last several months and they have INCREDIBLE cupcakes! All different flavors - something new to try all the time - and they look spectacular! We wanted to do something different for our wedding cake, and cupcakes seemed to be the perfect choice! Sharon (the baker) worked with us to pick our flavors. We had a small group, but still had 4 different flavors - key lime (with key lime pie filling in the cake, and macadamia nuts, coconut and a twist of lime on top), pina colada (so moist! and a cute little umbrella holding a piece of dried pineapple and a cherry to the top), red velvet (with shards of white chocolate on top) and pear and champagne (topped with an edible flower). Everyone loved the ability to choose their unique flavor and the unique display of different toppings on the cupcakes (that Sharon managed to color coordinate to our colors, while still keeping with her creative toppings that she usually uses in her shop). Sharon even made a top tier for us to cut and decorated it perfectly! So not only would I recommend them for weddings, but also just to stop by the shop and have some dessert, because you'll never run out of choices!

BOY WAS I GLAD!!! Joe is a big teddy bear! He was easy to work with and so happy for me which I thought was wonderful.
  The reception was a success - not only were the cupcakes wonderful, they were beautiful!! Thank you so much and don't always believe what you read. This place does an amazing job.

  My now husband and I went into Frostings Etc. in late December trying to find a vendor for our wedding reception, which just took place this past weekend in Clearwater Beach, FL. We're from Brooklyn, and coming from NYC, we have pretty high cupcake standards. We read some reviews about Frostings and decided to give it a shot.
  
  Joe, the owner, greeted us that December day and we enjoyed three cupcakes and a great conversation with him. He's from the Northeast and is our kind of guy. I read some other reviews on yelp about Joe's manner - c'mon people. Joe is the best.
  
  For our wedding, we had the Pear Bellini, Cookie Dough, and dark chocolate guinness cupcake. All three flavors were delicious. The cupcakes here are heavier than other vendors, and the flavors are truly delicious.
  
  Joe and Sharon were also willing to do some special things for our ceremony that Frostings doesn't normally do (we served muffins during our ceremony - it's an inside joke amongst friends). Joe and Sharon took on this project without question - now that's high quality customer service. Joe personally delivered the cupcakes and muffins the day of the wedding. Remember - we live in Brooklyn, so all of our interactions were via email or telephone, aside from that one day in December when we met. For anyone planning a DIY destination wedding, you know that it can be very nerve wracking. Joe's service was superb.
  
  You should visit Frostings Etc. if you like cupcakes and good people because that's what you're going to find here.

  We will only order cupcakes from Frostings, Etc. going forward for every occasion we have the need and if we feel we want cupcakes or cake. Joe and Sharon are the best. Sharon bakes her heart into her cupcakes and you can taste it in every bite. The prices are comparable to the "other" places but the taste and look is out of this world. They will make and design whatever you can dream of and work with you to the best of their ability. The cupcakes were the most talked about item at our wedding and we just couldn't get enough of them. We want more!!   THE BEST CUPCAKES in the Tampa Bay Area. Everyone raved about the cupcakes at our wedding. They looked beautiful and tasted incredible. Small local shop with one lady baking all of the cakes and cupcakes. She is phenomenal and will specialize any ingredients necessary...gluten free, vegan, soy free, etc. You name it, she can do it and make it taste so yummy! Wouldn't have chosen anyone else.

  Joe and Shannon are just two of The most amazing and hilarious and welcoming people you will meet! They are the heart and soul of their business! If you have never tried one of their cupcakes...DO IT NOW!! Hands down the BEST cupcakes I have ever had in my life! They are always fresh, moist, and perfect!! I have had cupcakes from "famous" bakeries in NYC, OH, and rarely pass up an opportunity to eat a cupcake on my travels, Frostings etc is still the BEST and their flavors are unique! (adding a twist to you treat for your wedding) we chose 4 flavors for our wedding cupcakes, and all of our guests could not say enough good things about their cupcakes!! Shannon and Joe were amazing and flexible and willing to collaborate with us on ideas for our cupcakes and display! Highly recommend them!

  Our cupcakes were absolutely amazing. We did have some challenges with communication but, after working through it all was well. We received a call on our wedding night to ensure that everything was how we wanted it.

  The cupcakes here are amazing! My husband and I selected Frostings, Etc. as they were a preferred vendor at our reception venue and we tried their cupcakes and thought they were incredible so we decided to use them.
  
  I would recommend Frostings, Etc. based on their cupcakes alone. I had no interaction with the owner who makes the cupcakes unfortunately but dealt only with the other owner, Joe. He has good and bad qualities. He in some ways made planning more difficult because he kept asking for a final count when we hadn't even gotten our RSVPs back yet and I basically just wanted some sort of contract so there was no misunderstanding on what we were ordering but we never got that because he said they don't have that. I think he had some confusion on what his arrangement was with our venue too and that they would be providing him the final count. And he also made some comments to my husband (then fiancé) that I didn't appreciate, specifically that I email more than any other bride he has dealt with and alluded to me being a Bridezilla, which is funny because I was actually the calmest bride my friends and family said they had ever seen and had no other issues with any of our other vendors, except this one. I emailed first of all because I was at work when questions arose or I needed clarification and cannot be on the phone while at work, and second, because we never received a contract of what we were to receive, so I wanted everything in writing. I don't think that's asking too much.
  
  All in all, their cupcakes are worth it. I think Joe is still learning the business side of the wedding business so I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt. They certainly delivered on our wedding day when it mattered most, so on that part, I have no complaints and nothing but praise. Thank you!

  The quality of the cake and cupcakes were fantastic. An allowance was given from our venue package but if we had to pay for them entirely they would have been totally worth the money. They are really nice people albeit a little disorganized. We had added a 6 inch cake so they forgot the oversized cupcake the night of that was included in the package but kindly offered to make us two to make up for it.

It may have been a miscommunication, but those are the only things I was a bit upset about. Overall, they did a great job and I would recommend them to any bride!
