  Gary created such a beautiful ceremony for us. He helped walk us through the whole process and we couldn’t be more thankful we had such an amazing minister to officiate our wedding!

  Dr. Gary was so easy to work with. He's accommodating and strives to get to know you on a personal level so that he can provide a bespoke ceremony. Me and my now husband couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate our special day. It was perfect, and I can't thank you enough, Dr. Gary!!

  Adoptable but theologically sound Christian wedding vows after Hindu ceremony.

  Gary Layne was recommended to us by the wedding planner of our Christian son's wedding with his Indian, Hindu bride in Atlanta. He couldn't have been more helpful in reassuring us of his Christian theology while dealing sensitively with the loving couple. He was perfectly on time and gave a meaningful and memorable short speech about the meaning of becoming a married couple. His price for this service was very reasonable and we recommend him without reservation.

  Gary did a great job of setting up the perfect ceremony. He made it easy by sending over forms to help us curate the whole thing to exactly what we wanted. We got so many compliments on the ceremony!

  Thank You Dr. Layne for pastoring our wedding at Cavender Creek! He was attentive to our needs and performed a ceremony that was perfect for us. His personality is kind, funny, and easy going! We enjoyed his genuine approach that was tailored to our styles and we were blessed to have him lead us into holy matrimony. We would recommend him to anyone for a marriage ceremony as you will experience that the joy of the LORD is his strength.

  I truly believe that God put Dr. Layne in our lives exactly when he was meant to. Gary instantly came to our lives sharing wisdom, insight, and a wonderful sense of humor to round it all out. We were lucky enough to have Gary guide us through our marriage counseling and even more lucky to have him lead us in a beautiful wedding ceremony, and he welcomed our last-minute additions and add-ins to the ceremony with open arms. He gave us enough structure to work within for our big day, but truly gave us the space to let our ceremony be unique to us.
  
  Hiring Gary means hiring someone who knows God; who knows relationships; who knows how to guide two people into a beautiful ceremony together. We entrusted Gary with a very large task and he delivered without a flinch, and we got so many compliments after the fact at how smooth our ceremony went and how well Gary did.   Pastor Gary went Above and Beyond

  My husband’s family speaks Spanish, my family speaks English. Pastor Gary went above and beyond ensuring that both our family’s would feel included by helping us with a bilingual ceremony.   Gary was fantastic!! He catered to our every need for our ceremony and even went above and beyond to make our ceremony more personal and authentic for us. We had a mixed religion ceremony being with Judaism and Christianity and Gary delivered a beautiful ceremony custom fit for us. I felt like I could trust him to do anything for our ceremony and it would turn out very well. I highly recommend Functional Christianity for your wedding!

  Dr. Layne made our day perfect. He helped us decide what to say and how to make our wedding exactly what we wanted. He also did an amazing job with our premarital counseling (totally recommend!).
