  Perfection!

  Chris and Matt were absolutely phenomenal! Firstly they traveled all the way to Vermont for us & we’re incredibly flexible and accommodating to all our needs! No issues at all, they set up and had everything figured out in a totally new place! They made all of our requests a major priority and communicated with us from day 1 all the way until the wedding was over! Chris and Matt make such a great team and they were the talk of the wedding at the happy hour when they performed the entire time and transitioned into the DJ portion at the reception! We couldn’t recommend them enough! They are both amazing at what they do and are considerate and incredibly helpful! Every guest raved about them & we as a couple were so happy with our choice!! Best wedding ever! We loved them!!

The trio brought incredible skill and a vibrant energy to our celebration. Our guests were blown away by the music. We wholeheartedly recommend this talented and personable team for any event!

  Wedding 7/14/23

  Chris was wonderful to work with from start to finish. When first reaching out to inquire about his services, we were highly impressed with his response time and willingness to meet with us. We first went to one of Chris’ shows to watch him perform and then knew for sure we would want him singing for our cocktail hour and dinner. Chris was always very relaxed, in a positive and professional manner, assuring us that we were in good hands at all times. Chris and guitarist Matt kept the dance floor full throughout the entirety of the night and did a great job reading the crowd! We are so grateful to have had them a part of our day and would highly recommend them to others looking for a nice mix of live and DJ’d music!

  Excellent!

  The day we met Chris Giakas, my husband (boyfriend at the time!) went up to him while performing at a winery, pointed over at me, and said “one day I am going to marry that girl and you are going to play at our wedding.” A few years later and you bet we hired Chris to perform at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and even DJ our reception. Chris’ performances during the ceremony, first dances, cocktail hour, and more..made all those little moments even greater! We asked Chris to perform ALL Beatles songs during our cocktail hour and we called it “Beatle Mania Hour” and everyone has been talking about it since! During our reception, he had everyone up on the dance floor having the time of their lives!! We are so thankful that we chose Chris Giakas to be a part of the best day of our lives. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

  Amazing music

  Chris played the ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding and did such a wonderful performance. We received so many compliments about his music. Truly worth hiring as Chris is very personable, professional, and has a very fun personality.

  Responsive, easy, genuine, talented

  We had Chris & Matt perform at our 9/10/22 wedding. Would do it again and again. Just perfect. The process was one of the easiest parts of planning. We drove out to see Chris play before committing, and he came and sat with my family on his breaks and took our requests. That’s Chris.. he is engaged, motivated and just an overall genuine soul. Just a bonus on top of his unmatched talent. Chris and Matt arrived nearly 4 hours early to the venue. They played exactly according to our preference sheet. And were amenable to requests. Their range of songs is vast. They catered to both the young and old guests. They are worth two or three times their price tag. Don’t even think twice, book them!

  Amazing!!!

  Chris was absolutely amazing! He listened to what we wanted and the vibe of our wedding. He did an exceptional job with performing some of our favorite songs for cocktail hour. Our guest absolutely loved it! We would highly recommend him for your wedding or any special event!

  Definitely hire them!

  We hired Chris and his trio for our wedding on 06.04.22. The trio performed live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then Chris and Matt stayed to DJ during the reception. They were able to set up in three seperate locations within the venue and there was never any awkward gaps in music playing from one location to another. Chris even surprised us by learning our first dance and parent dance songs to play them live with very short notice! Chris and his team are super professional, organized, and are genuinely a pleasure to work with! They really do go above and beyond. We can’t wait to see him again playing at a local restaurant!

  After seeing Chris perform several times, we knew we wanted him to play at our wedding. He went above and beyond. He and Matt managed to man three locations: our ceremony on the beach, our cocktail hour outside, and our reception where they played live and DJ’d. We received many compliments on their performance; one from a college music professor and musician. He was very impressed with the quality of the performance. Won’t hesitate to hire Chris again. As long as he’s playing he will be our live music guy and DJ.

  Best of both worlds: live music and DJ in one!

  It was such a pleasure working Galavant Entertainment for our wedding. They played live music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance and parent dances and then switched over to DJing for the reception. We had Chris and Matt at the wedding. They are both incredibly talented musicians who were able to play any song I requested. I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan and they went above and beyond in learning a bunch of her songs for my wedding. Chris was extremely helpful and responsive during the entire planning process as well.

  Absolutely awesome!

  We wanted a live acoustic duo, and these two hit it out of the park! Chris was also so helpful during the wedding planning process. They sounded awesome, and we’d recommend them to others for sure!

  Chris Giakus and Galavant entertainment made my wedding a wonderful experience by meeting with me and my husband over zoom and asking what we want and are looking for. He had a great song list and selection but was flexible and happy to get all the music we asked for when we decided to make our own custom soundtrack for most of the wedding which included hymns, 80s music, Disney music, and even music from our favorite anime. Chris is such a great entertainer and personality. He has enthusiasm and smiles and dances, along with singing and playing live music. Chris and his girlfriend learned a pretty obscure hymn within short notice so that I (the bride) could walk down the aisle to it. He has microphones and beautiful uplifting equipment that made even our rustic barn venue look even better than before. I was afraid of it not matching up with the venue's style but it really worked beautifully. Great great great experience having Galavant entertainment as a part of our special day!

  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I decided to postpone our large reception for a more intimate family ceremony on our original date. While planning, I came across Chris and was impressed with his work. I reached out and got a response almost immediately. Chris recommend we have Matt play the guitar (our intimate wedding venue did not allow amplified events). We gladly accepted not knowing what to expect but happy to have some sort of live music. Chris made planning so easy and painless. Very flexible and attentive!
  
  Our wedding day came and we were BLOWN away by Matt! He played every song perfectly and played what we asked when we asked without cue! Our guests were absolutely amazed by him and couldn’t stop talking about him.

  Voice of an angel

  Chris sang at my wedding. With covid 19, we had to scale it back substantially and was blown away from beginning to end at how easy he made things and how professional he was after learning of the changes. Highly recommend him for any event.

  Beautiful voice

  Due to Covid, we had to scale back our grand wedding plans and had a small reception in August. We only had 20 people in attendance and needed someone to sing and stay for small reception. Chris did an amazing job and sang beautifully throughout. Thank you for making this day so special.

  Chris was so spectacular! From the start, he provided me with so many options and was so kind and patient. On the day of our Wedding, Chris and his guitarist, Matthew arrived on time and gave our guests a spectacular time. I myself, am a professional wedding planner and hiring Galavant Entertainment was the best choice we made for our big day. When Chris and Matt performed the ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the building! His voice was so smooth and he played every song we asked. He sang a wide variety of songs by different artists like Frank Sinatra, Adele, and The Beatles. As an MC, he was so funny and fit in like he was part of the family. As our DJ, he kept the dance floor busy and chose the best songs. Overall, I could not give a better review and it was so worth what we paid

As our DJ, he kept the dance floor busy and chose the best songs. Overall, I could not give a better review and it was so worth what we paid

  Gallavant experience

  Galavant did an amazing job at our wedding! They were everything we hoped for and more! The singer had an amazing voice and they played exactly the type of music we wanted. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who wants a band that plays acoustic covers of any genre!

  Excellent Experience!

  Working with Galavant was great! My husband and I were both crazy busy with work during the entire wedding process and Chris was so kind and flexible with us both. The sax player that they normally work with was booked, so they happily worked with another one that we found and coordinated directly with her, which was so helpful.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Chris made sure it was stress-free and checked in on all the things we wanted to happen (and that we never followed up with lol). Chris/Galavant was such a delight to work with and I highly recommend!
  
  The mix of live ceremony/cocktail hour music, and DJ/live music during the reception was really special and allowed us to have all the songs we wanted - not just limited by a band. We're so happy with our decision to work with Chris!
