The BEST Wedding DJ!
I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the incredible talent of DJ GarGar (Edgar Alminar) at a our wedding at Darlington House in August 2023, and I am still buzzing with excitement. DJ GarGar (Edgar Alminar) truly knows how to create an unforgettable atmosphere and keep the party going all night long.
From the moment DJ GarGar started playing, the dance floor was packed with guests of all ages. DJ GarGar’s ability to seamlessly mix different genres and eras of music was impressive. It was like they had a sixth sense for knowing exactly what song to play next, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged. We had multiple guests ask us if we had created a playlist, and we had to tell them it was all DJ GarGar!!!
What sets DJ GarGar apart is his knack for reading the room and adapting to the vibe of the crowd. He effortlessly transitioned between different styles of music, ensuring that everyone's tastes were catered to. Whether it was a classic party anthem or a current chart-topper, DJ GarGar had an extensive repertoire that had everyone singing and dancing along.
The sound quality was impeccable, with crystal-clear audio that allowed every beat and lyric to shine. DJ GarGar equipment was state-of-the-art, delivering a powerful and immersive sound experience that added to the overall enjoyment of the night. He also made sure to arrive early and test out all the equipment - everything was fantastic from the ceremony through the reception.
In addition to their musical prowess, DJ GarGar’s professionalism and charisma were evident throughout the event. He interacted with the crowd, took requests, and created a lively and inclusive atmosphere. It was clear that he were passionate about their craft and genuinely wanted to ensure that everyone had a fantastic time.
Overall, I cannot recommend DJ GarGar enough. His talent, professionalism, and ability to keep the party going made the event truly memorable. If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to bring the fun, create an electric atmosphere, and keep the dance floor alive, look no further. Edgar Was Amazing!
From the very beginning of planning our wedding, we could tell DJ Edgar was going to be amazing! He was always so quick to respond to our questions (and trust me, I had a lot of questions), and he made the song planning process easy and flexible! Our families had a blast on the dance floor, and he played all of the songs and versions of specific songs we wanted! We were so happy we hired him, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!From the very beginning of planning our wedding, we could tell DJ Edgar was going to be amazing! Great DJ, Super Easy to Work With
Edgar came out for our pre-wedding walkthrough and was responsive through our whole planning process. When asked for a specific list of songs for different events in the wedding he came through and did an amazing job. My best man during the wedding even commented at one point that the song choice for my wife walking out was awesome. Edgar was 10/10, our dance floor was packed the entire night and we'd absolutely hire Edgar again in a heartbeat.Edgar came out for our pre-wedding walkthrough and was responsive through our whole planning process. A coworker had recommended Edgar and I'm so glad that she did. Edgar did such a great job as the DJ at our wedding. He did the music for both our ceremony and reception. He was great at reading the crowd and kept the energy going on the dance floor. Edgar was an absolute dream to work with. He was the easiest vendor we booked and one of the best aspects of our wedding. All communications with him went smoothly, he was quickly responsive, and never made it feel like our requests were an issue. Of all the people we worked with, he was the one that actually lowered our stress level!! He was open to a long list of "please play" and "don't you dare play" songs and nailed in. Besides him being an incredible person and talented DJ, he was a complete steal cost-wise and the one vendor that came in under our budget!

Edgar is the best! He Dj'd my brother's wedding and works with my SIL (who's a wedding planner) on most of her weddings so of course we went with him! He's easy to communicate with over email and was flexible with my needs for the day of. He's comfortable on the microphone and had the wedding flowing smoothly. Once the dancing started, the floor stayed packed til the very end! Even I didn't want to leave! Highly suggest Edgar for any of your parties.Edgar is the best! DJGargar was awesome! He was very intuitive to our wants: yes to this kind of music, absolutely not any of this kind of music, etc. I was pretty easy going with most details of our wedding: I spent a few minutes deciding on invitations, who our caterer was going to be, what flavor cake, but the music was REALLY important to me. And I never once caught myself internally groaning to what was playing over the speakers (as I usually do everywhere else music is played). I asked for certain songs to be played during certain times, and I heard all the songs I wanted to hear. There was never an uncomfortable silence, I never saw him away from his post every time I happened to glance that way, so if/when he DID take a break, it was completely unnoticeable.
I made a few demands of him, and if Edgar didn't have the song in his extensive library, he found it so we could hear everything from Frank Sinatra to Danzig, Beach Boys to Foo Fighters. He even found the Yub Nub song from the very end of Return of the Jedi and played it for us as we walked down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.(we're sort of total Star Wars geeks!) We had to beg him to stay longer, as he was playing such good music, my guests would not stop dancing. I wish I knew more people in San Diego so I could throw a big party just to have him DJ again!!DJGargar was awesome! DJ Edgar was very flexible, very good value for the cost and was a great DJ for the evening. Everyone of the guests loved him and he served as a great MC throughout the evening and really kept the partying going all night. We do not live in California right now so we did everything via email and I sent him a list of the 100 most requested songs at Weddings letting him know what we liked/loved/hated and I think that helped because he seemed to play our favorite songs. We would use him again and recommend him to our friends.DJ Edgar was very flexible, very good value for the cost and was a great DJ for the evening. Hired Edgar for our big day - no regrets!
Edgar - We had soooo much fun, thanks to you! The dance floor was seriously fun beyond my wildest dreams. We got tons of compliments on your song selection and responsiveness to the crowd. The groom's dad mentioned that you started playing an oldies song that didn't land and you just shuffled right out of it. I loved Fireball after the fire dancer, so appropriate. And the way you lined up the happy bday song + fire performance was perfect. Thanks for the seamless transitions and being super chill and personable on the mic. Graham (the groom) is sorry he didn't introduce himself but he kept mentioning to me how you seem like such a nice person and have amazing vibes about you.
Thanks again for being so reasonably priced and making it such a special and fun dance party! If you're a San Diego couple looking for a fun DJ that doesn't break the bank and isn't too stereotypical (unless you want him to be), look up Edgar.
