  The Absolute Best!

  Our wedding would not have been the same without Garrett! We hired him after falling in love with him and his photos, and we could not be happier with that decision. His infectious excitement and enthusiasm throughout the weekend made the process such a joy. Garrett is the consummate professional - he always knew exactly what he was doing, planned all of the shots in advance, and managed all the photos with our HUGE families (and dogs!) without any issues. Your photographer is really the choreographer of the day and Garrett could not have done a better job - we were exactly on schedule in terms of getting all of our shots which allowed us to stay relaxed and have fun during the process vs being stressed and rushed. Garrett listened to exactly what we wanted and always made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. We are a couple that typically shies away from PDA so Garrett helped us get the quintessential first look and other "mushy" shots in our own way. He was flexible but ensured that things got done, fun but professional. We cannot rave about him more! Also, Garrett is so trustworthy and well-respected in the industry that we would often ask his opinion on wedding ideas and potential vendors early in the process and he was always extremely helpful and responsive. We could not recommend him highly enough for your wedding or event!

  SO grateful for Garrett!

  Garrett was recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I could not be more grateful for him! He was exactly what we wanted and needed. He was (and is) exceptionally kind, warm, and passionate about his work. I felt like he truly went above and beyond.   One of the MVPs of our wedding weekend

  Garrett was our photographer for our wedding weekend in Napa, he really blew us away! Garrett has such a naturally kind presence which made us feel really at ease from the start. He was also excellent with families and friends in group photos. On the wedding day, we were already well bonded and it went smoothly. Garrett guided us through the shooting, which really helped us during our first look and couple shots and also with our bridal party. We took many fun unique shots! The photos were breathtaking. Garrett can capture both the elevated and artistic style of photos as well as the candid sweet moments of us and our guests. We were very happy with the photos and my husband who is not a picture taker at all has mentioned many times how Garrett made his weekend! Lastly, we want to mention how Garrett went above and beyond to take some quick snaps of us at the after party. He has the full package : passionate about his job, provides a high professional quality of the photos and a super kind person. We highly recommend Garrett!

  Book with Garrett Immediately!

  My husband and I met Garrett when he photographed 2 weddings that I was in back in 2019. Garrett's energy, optimism, and professionalism shown immediately and we joked that we'd be calling him when it was our wedding. Garrett was the first wedding vendor that we booked after our venue/date. We had so much fun with our engagement photos in La Jolla and felt really comfortable for our wedding. Before and during our wedding, Garrett and his second shooter made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and we weren't rushed at all. They enabled us to have special moments throughout the day. The photos are incredible - candid moments captured, the lighting and movement captured, even dance floor photos are perfection. We highly recommend booking Garrett for your wedding immediately as his schedule is very busy!

  Hands down best decision

  Garrett is a phenomenal photographer. As we look through our album, we've repeatedly given ourselves props for making such a great decision in hiring him- haha. The real props goes to GARRETT! The photos he captured allow to relive the beautiful memories of that day. While Garrett is incredibly skilled in editing, angles, lenses, lighting, and all things you look for in a photographer, we cherished most his ability to put us at ease & in right headspace so that we could focus on each other on our special day, rather than worry about the camera. Our photos came out so natural and candid because he brings an incredible calming energy that made us feel comfortable. I'll never forget the sweet pep talk he gave me right before we captured our first look photos. In that moment of anxiety/nerves before seeing my husband, Garrett completely brought everything back to excitement and ease. He was so professional and incredibly patient. As you can imagine, trying to keep to a tight timeline, and checklist of all the combinations of family shots, while herding the families and trying to keep them from not running off in every which direction, all while keeping a smile on his face in 100 degree weather is no easy feat- but he's a total pro and impressed us all. Receiving our edited photos back was a true joy. Everyone that we shared our wedding photos with said " wow, you have a great photographer" - and to that comment, we smile and think, yes we sure did.   Best photographer!

  We are so grateful to have found & used Garrett and his incredible team. My husband and I really do not enjoy taking photos (of which we frequently told Garrett lol), but he truly put us at ease throughout the entire day. He gives fantastic direction and was able to round up our big (and rowdy) families. He’s quick at getting great shots so we weren’t getting anxious or feeling like the photos were taking forever. Not only did he take the most amazing photos, but he got them to us incredibly fast (which I am so grateful for as I definitely felt some post wedding blues!). Thank you for everything, Garrett!

We initially chose Garrett because of the breathtaking photos we saw in his portfolio. The right lighting, angles, settings…an eye for just the right moment…he has amazing talent and we wanted that for our daughter’s wedding. What we didn’t know at the time was how wonderful he was going to be to work with. Garrett has a gift, not only for the beautiful photos he takes but for the way he cares about people. His joyful smile and calm, reassuring demeanor. His ability to say just the right things to elicit true emotion and natural expressions. His genuine desire to make sure the photos he took reflected what was most meaningful to us and would always be cherished. And his fantastic team who paid attention to the little details to make sure we all looked our best.  We didn’t realize beforehand how important all of those qualities would prove to be.   Looking for an amazing wedding photographer? Look no further than Garrett Richardson!
  For me the photography is one of the most aspects of a wedding. Even though we were only having a small wedding (an elopement, of sorts), I knew I wanted the best photographer I could find in California. I spent hours researching and found Garrett. Thankfully we could book him in, even with less than two months notice.
  
  In the lead up to the wedding we spoke and emailed with Garrett multiple times and built a great rapport. He has these questionnaires that allow him to get to know you as individuals and as a couple and exactly what you want on your wedding day.
  
  I was quite particular with the types of photos I wanted and Garrett happily accommodated all the requests.
  He was so lovely and my husband, family and I felt so incredibly comfortable with him. He gave great directions on the day and we were bursting with excitement to see the finished products.
  
  Just a few weeks later we had our photos and they were AMAZING! I feel like every photo Garrett took made the cut and they were all brilliant. Seriously, I can't stop looking at them and everyone we have shown them to loves them as much as we do.
  
  I couldn't recommend Garrett enough! So friendly, talented and professional.

  I've worked with Garrett Richardson on a handful of projects over the last five years, from weddings to corporate events. Being in the event industry, our paths cross quite a bit and one thing I've noticed throughout all of our projects is that his work is consistently stunning and his attitude is polite, professional, enthusiastic and warm.
  
  He captures everything from the small details to the crowd celebrating. When you look back on your images, you'll remember magic. His work speaks for itself and the photos will illuminate your heart. There are photos from a blog launch party we did up in Malibu and every time I come across the photos, I remember how spectacular the outdoor event was (instead of the freezing 40 degree weather we were having).
  
  I think it's important to recognize Garrett as a person because you may experience a very intimate moment and Garrett's behind the lens capturing that special time. He is humble, caring and open. It's easy to be yourself with Garrett and share in the celebration. He's so easy to work with!
  
  Garrett can turn photos around quickly, always provides details when sharing a photo gallery and includes all the information you need to know about your images. His customer service and organization is fantastic.

  Amazing Photos!

  I would definitely recommend using Garrett Richardson if you are looking for a photographer. My husband and I used him four different times this past year: for our engagement photos, our church ceremony, rehearsal dinner and wedding day in San Diego and all of our photos turned out fantastic! There are not enough good things to say about Garrett. Not only is he a great photographer, he is so incredibly kind, responsive, down to earth and makes you feel super comfortable in front of the camera. He genuinely cares about his clients and wants you to love your photos and the whole process. We know we will treasure all of these wonderful photos forever. I spent a lot of time researching photographers, I emailed over a almost 20. As a fellow artist was very particular about how I wanted our photos to look. Garrett went above and beyond our expectations!
  
  We wanted to take our photos in Yosemite and Garrett was so accommodating. We planned a fun day up there and he spent so much time with us. We drove to different parts of the park and the photos could not be more perfect! Garrett truly captured our personalities and our love while still capturing the beauty of Yosemite. After the session, Brayden and I were convinced Garrett is truly the nicest human. He was so nice and encouraging the whole session. He made us laugh and feel very comfortable! Garrett truly went above and beyond for our engagement session.
  
  Throughout the whole process he was willing to answer any questions that I had. Garrett was very nice and helpful every time I emailed him!
  
  The day of the wedding Garrett truly went above all expectations again! We had 15 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 4 flower girls, and 2 ring bearers. Garrett handled the challenge with ease! All of our friends and family were so amazed by his attentiveness and once again, his kindness. He captured every moment during the day and we are so pleased with our photos. We find ourselves looking at our photos almost daily. Brayden and I LOVE them so much! We have also received so many compliments from friends and family.
