Gary was a great DJ who took every one of our requests/wishes and made them come true! He was so kind, inexpensive, and came with great reviews that we knew we'd have to pick him. He called us a few days before the wedding (the only thing I wish was done differently) so we could discuss every song we wanted, how to pronounce people's names, and the order things would go in. I had hired a violinist to surprise my husband and he did a great job of keeping that a secret and even coordinated with her to make it great for us. Every single one of my guests came up to us at the end or over the next few weeks just to tell us what a wonderful time they had and I think it's due to Gary for being a great DJ and keeping the party going. -

User2356780 Sent on 10/08/2015DJ Gary was FANTASTIC. Gary played our wedding last weekend and we couldn't be happier. Gary was responsive, helpful, friendly, and more than that - he put our minds at ease. He knew our venue well as he had played other weddings there in the past, which was really reassuring. The style of music was spot-on and seriously, I've never been to a wedding where people danced so much! Our wedding was a truly amazing party, and I credit so much of that to Gary. He knew exactly what music to play during dinner - loud enough to enjoy, but quiet enough that people could still converse easily - and then what music to play to get people out on the dance floor. When people had been dancing a couple of hours and were starting to fall off the dance floor, he knew how to change the tone to give people a break for a while, and then he knew exactly how to ramp it back up with an awesome fun classic to give everyone their second wind. I can't recommend Gary highly enough - he truly made our wedding night the most fun night of our lives. THANK YOU GARY!!! -
User2249746 Sent on 07/30/2015Gary saved the day for our wedding! We had issues with our previous DJ and had to cancel our contract within a month of our wedding day (talk about freak out!). We were put in contact through another DJ company (Colonial DJs) and he was available and more than willing to help us out. Gary answered all of our phone calls and e-mails promptly and we were able to meet with him when we came to Richmond to do some other wedding plans right before the wedding. Gary has an amazing personality and was fantastic during all aspects of planning and the day of. Gary helped make sure we had all of the songs we wanted and everything happened when it needed. We ended up running behind schedule at the wedding and Gary popped by our table to check with us about making some changes to the schedule he thought would work well and continue the night running smoothly. Once people got out on the dance floor, no one left. He was able to read the crowd and decide what songs from our recommendations and his lists would be best. We really could not have asked for a better end to a terrible situation. Gary was amazing and will definitely help you have a smooth ceremony and a fun reception.

User2339224 Sent on 09/28/2015Gary was one of the the best choices we made in vendors at our wedding. We were very nervous about having a corny or cheesy DJ experience and Gary was perfect! His years of experience in the DJ and AV business really shined through on our wedding night. My brother in law played our first dance song and Gary had everything ready to go in terms of AV equipment. Gary was also very conscious of the sound quality during the ceremony and of course during the reception. He provided lavaliere microphones for the ceremony which worked out perfect as our wedding was outside. He also was very receptive to our taste in music and filled in the gaps perfectly. We had a number of compliments throughout the evening on his performance as well as the playlist! I would highly recommend Gary to any couple!!! He is easy to work with, very receptive to requests, fairly priced, and all around good guy.

Rebecca Sent on 05/13/2015Gary was great! Music sounded great and lights were a awesome bonus! We had an outdoor ceremony and added on the extra system and it helped a lot for guests in the back to hear. He was professional and dressed well. His announcements were clear and you could understand them (not everytime you hear a DJ speak over a system can you under stand them). If I had another event where I needed a DJ, no doubt in my mind I would have Gary back! -

We met with him a few times before the wedding and I felt confident that I could trust him to play the kind of music we were looking for without having to give him a list of every song for the entire evening. From the ceremony to the reception he did a great job. He also knew how to get people out on the dance floor! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional reasonably priced DJ for any event.

User1155597 Sent on 05/07/2013We came to Gary 10 days before our big event. Not only was he willing to take on the challenge, but he was willing to meet with us as many times as he could beforehand. The event turned out great and we had many compliments on our choice of DJ. Everyone was dancing until their feet hurt! Thanks Gary.
