  Jeanne has transformed her barn into a beautiful wedding venue! She's kind, approachable, and always makes you feel at home.

  My husband and I new we wanted to get married at Gatherings the moment we stepped inside. We booked our wedding date before getting engaged because that's how much we wanted to secure a spot... we were in love too!!!

  Highly recommend!

  Gatherings on the Ridge is such a beautiful venue! We hosted both our ceremony and our reception here and couldn't have been happier with it! Jeanne was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, and Ann did an amazing job bartending and coordinating the day of! We're so glad we chose Gatherings on the Ridge!

  What an amazing experience

  Jeanne is great to work with. She is kind, understanding, flexible, personable, and truly wants your day to be the best and will help you in so many ways to make sure your experience is memorable in the greatest way. Her venue is stunning- inside & out, and has so much character already before us brides bring in our own decorations. Everyone at my wedding had an amazing time, and complimented the beautiful area & scenery. The bartender was awesome and our day couldn’t have went any better. There’s truly not enough words to describe this beautiful venue, how wondering Jeanne and her staff is, and the laid back feeling you get here. 5+ stars.

  Our perfect day

  We knew we needed to get married at Gatherings on the Ridge as soon as we walked in the door to the barn. We loved everything about it. Jeanne was helpful, and quick to respond to my emails, texts and calls. We took advantage of her collection of decor and rented a few items but the barn is so perfect, not much was needed. The price for the weekend was reasonable and cheaper then other barn venues we looked into. We are so happy we chose to get married her and work with Jeanne.

  Absolutely Wonderful!

  I cannot say enough good things about Gatherings on the Ridge! Hands down the best venue in the area due to the beauty and hospitality! My fiancé and I had to relocate our wedding 2 weeks before our date. It was a mad scramble to put everything together. From the first time we met Jeanne to the morning after our wedding she was nothing short of amazing. When we learned we would need to find a new venue I immediately contacted Gatherings on the Ridge thinking they would of course be booked, but by some miracle they were available for our June wedding! I knew it was a sign at that moment but what I wasn’t aware of was just how wonderful our experience would be. I was a made wreck knowing the journey we had in front of us. We had to redo everything for our wedding in such a short amount of time. Jeanne allowed us to come tour the venue on the same day I called. She knew my husband and I were not living local and had a tight schedule to plan everything. The day we toured it was the morning of her sons graduation party and she was setting up for that but still made time for us (can you say accommodating?!). She made us feel so hopeful and genuinely wanted to help us in any way possible. She helped in every way and answered every question I had at any hour (not kidding). You can tell her dedication to her clients is her number one priority. She helped us with plate rentals (her sister in law!), find a caterer, set up bar options, etc all in TWO WEEKS! It all came together and our wedding was absolutely beautiful. It was the hottest day of the summer and all of our guests still raved about how gorgeous the venue was! We had guests on the dance floor until we kicked them out. I will never forget leaving our venue on Sunday morning after picking up our decorations. I just took a deep breath and thanked Jeanne for everything she had done! I teared up then and I still tear up thinking about our amazing experience. I will never forget her kind heart and wonderful hospitality. Once in a while life gives you a fairy godmother and she is one for sure! We could not have had the wedding we did without her!

We had a later September wedding and the weather was abnormal; I want to say it was 95 degrees outside. But Jeanne was prepared and worked with us try to keep our guests as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed working with her and highly recommend!

  We held our wedding at Gatherings on the Ridge in September and we cannot begin to describe how amazing Jeanne is to work with. Not only did she keep everything in line for us, but she also kept us relaxed and able to have a great time and not stress over the details. I must have texted and emailed her a hundred times but she was always available and cheerful every single time we spoke. Everything went better than planned and I'm still getting compliments from our guests.
  
  Jeanne also put together our flowers and I still cannot stop thinking about how beautiful they were! It was almost as if she knew exactly what I wanted before I even knew it! :) If you're looking for a place to hold your event, please do yourself a favor and go visit Jeanne at Gatherings on the Ridge. The place is amazing and so is she!

  Jeanne was great through out the whole process! Any questions I had she answered right away and when we were decorating for the day she was around the barn and so helpful to me and my wedding party.

  When planning our wedding, my husband and I were looking for venues in the La Crosse area, when we couldn't find anything we liked, we expanded our search and stumbled upon Gatherings on the Ridge. From the first moment we met the owner, Jeanne Aspenson, we instantly knew that this was the venue where we would have our wedding. After a year + of planning, our wedding went off without a single hiccup this previous Saturday. Jeanne couldn't have been more helpful on our wedding day or any of the days leading up to it. Not only is she an amazing venue owner/manager she is also a talented florist! She and Simply Lovely Creations also created the flower bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces, for my wedding and they were absolutely breathtaking. Jeanne is one talented lady and I am so fortunate to have met her! When you have your wedding here, Jeanne will most definitely become like family! :)

  We loved everything about Gatherings on the Ridge! Jeanne was amazing to work with and so sweet and her bartender was fun and did a great job. The venue could not be more beautiful and I loved all the props available for rent. Jeanne was flexible in meeting with us and answering questions and everything was so reasonably priced. She was very flexible with meeting us, and she had very clear and easy to follow expectations for everything. The venue is naturally very beautiful, especially the lighting!   Jeannie was awesome to work with and we had a great experience! The barn was beautiful and worth every penny! Figuring out a more efficient way to order alcohol and keeping the website props up to date are the only suggestions that we would have, but that did not in any way hinder our overall experience!

  Gatherings on the Ridge was absolutly amazing! We cannot begin to thank them enough for helping us create our dream wedding!! What drew us to the venue in the first place was the amazing cost along with the fact we got the whole weekend (that was hard to find without paying an arm and a leg). But, once we saw the venue, that sealed the deal. The barn and grounds were beautiful, we did very little decoration in the barn because it already looked amazing! To top it off Jeanne, the owner, was amazing! She is so accommodating, flexible and answered every one of my questions. She is great for any bride, but especially the DIY bride! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to and we have Jeanne and Gatherings on the Ridge to thank for that!!

  This was a wonderful barn for our wedding. We always wanted a barn wedding, but various barn venues we looked at throughout Wisconsin were too expensive. This barn, nestled in the bluffs and hills and western Wisconsin was perfect and very affordable. The owner was wonderful to work with, and we never had any problems. She let us use the barn for setting-up and the rehearsal dinner, and we were able to use the attached kitchen to prepare food. There are very nice bathrooms, and a dressing room, as well.
