A magical, priceless view and wedding experience. The entire team that worked with us for our October Friday the 13th wedding was incredible. Heather and John were there for everything and anything we could think of. The scenery and view is breathtaking alone on the outside and then inside the hall is stunning too. I couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out from the moment we walked in to see the venue though to the end of our wedding day. Highly recommended.

Everyone at the Gatsby was so wonderful! Heather was so accommodating and easy to deal with. She always got back to me and answered my questions. Kaitlyn and John were amazing the day of my wedding. They worked together like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding on 4/29 and everything from start to finish was exactly how we imagined our big day. The staff made it a point to fulfill any needs before we even knew we had them. The maitre d, Elyse, was a pleasure to work with and made the day feel like a fairytale. Despite the downpour outside and the limited scenery available for pictures, she made great use of the space and made up for anything that was out of her control. Heather made sure my vision for all of the decor and centerpieces were fully realized and even made use of extra things that I brought. John, the main bartender, made sure that every glass was always full and most importantly my father in law was no longer stressing. There was never once a line at the bar. Our bridal attendants, Kristen and Caitlin, went above and beyond. They made sure all my issues disappeared, from my dress falling apart to bringing us food while we were coming down from the amazing ceremony. The kitchen crew were clearly hard at work because they delivered exceptional food and no complaints by our guests. We would 1000% recommend this venue to anybody looking to book an event no matter how big or small.

Cannot recommend Gatsby highly enough! Due to life circumstances, my partner and I decided to get married about 5 weeks in advance. While we were initially worried about planning a wedding with such short notice, Elyse immediately put our fears at ease. Leading up to the day, Elyse was incredibly responsive and really listened to what we wanted the day to look like. The venue is beautiful and required nothing extra to make it wedding ready. The day of the wedding was everything we had pictured! The food was delicious and the family style meal was a hit with our guests. The team at Gatsby took care of everything in a way that allowed us to truly enjoy the day with friends and family. We are incredibly grateful for the team at Gatsby and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We got married on 10/8/2022 and had our reception at Gatsby on The Ocean. From the get-go, the vibe, location and decor was beautiful and I knew right away this is where I wanted to have our party.

Elyse is a godsend. Throughout the whole process, she was so helpful and honest. She gave us amazing tips and insight. She was responsive the entire time and was overall an amazing person. She made it so easy to work with her as we currently live in Cleveland.

The whole day was flawless and perfect. There was a mishap with our cake that Elyse took care of so fast that it wasn't even an issue when she told me. Elyse and her team did such an amazing job - and guests loved everything about Gatsby. Some still say it's the best wedding they've ever been to! From the beautiful scenery, to the service, to the food and everything in-between. But that's all thanks to Elyse and team.

I cannot thank Elyse enough for all that she's done to make this day for us perfect. And I cannot recommend her and Gatsby on The Ocean enough - especially if you want a location near the water.

Our wedding at the Gatsby was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond both before the wedding and day-of to make sure our wedding was incredible. It was always my dream to get married on the beach and the Gatsby made it so amazingly smooth and accessible. Our reception was on the beach with the most gorgeous setting of the beautiful sunset and ocean. Our guests and family can't stop talking about how special it was!! If you're thinking of having your wedding or event here, I could not recommend highly enough.

I can’t even begin to find the words that describe how wonderful Elyse, Brett, and their team at Gatsby on the Ocean were. They truly made the experience and day so easy, stress free, and fun! The day was beyond what my fiancé and I dreamed of and we can’t thank the team enough for their hard work, organization, happy and positive vibe, and genuine willingness to do whatever it took to make the day PERFECT for us, our families, and our friends! We were a huge bridal party and everything was perfect and ran smoothly- thanks to them! In addition to the most incredible staff, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we were able to make our dreams come true getting married at the beach while also having an upscale elegant venue. The ceremony, cocktail hour during sunset, and reception were perfect. The food and drinks were delicious thanks to an amazing chef, kitchen staff, and bartenders. My guests are still talking about what a great venue it is and I can’t recommend getting married there enough!!

We had the most perfect wedding at Gatsby on the Ocean on 10/3/2020, despite the craziness of the world right now! A little background. Our original wedding date was 11/7/2020. As we were nearing the end of summer, we realized that while things had improved somewhat in New York, coronavirus was still a huge concern. On my husband's side especially, his family was very worried and did not feel comfortable attending an indoor ceremony and reception. There was absolutely no way we could get married without his family there. So we decided we needed to act quickly if we were going to save our wedding and still get married this year. Not only did we need to find a new venue with outdoor options for both ceremony and reception, we needed to change the date to early October so it wouldn't be too cold.

This all happened very fast during the last week of August. In a bit of a frenzy, we were contacting and touring venues, which was not something we were expecting to do six weeks before our wedding. We were so incredibly fortunate to find Gatsby on the Ocean and especially Elyse, the coordinator there. As you can imagine, when we first met with her, we were in complete distress about our wedding and what we were going to do in light of coronavirus. She was nothing short of amazing in having a vision of how we could still have a beautiful and safe wedding in spite of all the circumstances. To see it come to fruition was a dream come true, and as I said, it was an absolutely perfect day. Never would I have imagined I would have been able to get married on the beach and have my wedding reception overlooking the ocean. It was gorgeous! And we were blessed with amazing weather! We had a full cocktail hour, but for covid-related safety, the passed hors d'oeuvres were individually plated and served by the waitstaff. The cocktail stations were served buffet style with plexiglass between the servers and guests and each table being called up one at a time, which worked really well. All the food was so delicious!

The setups for both the ceremony and reception were really thoughtfully done to keep households together and separated from each other, again due to coronavirus concerns. Our wedding party and all our guests were so complimentary of Gatsby and enjoyed themselves immensely.

As indicated, Elyse is amazing and just super impressive. She is creative, organized, easy to communicate with (we texted often) and a problem-solver. She is really a top-notch professional. In addition, my bridal attendant, Christian, was awesome and went above and beyond on our wedding day, everyone had a million kind things to say about him. There was a golf cart attendant, who was so helpful and nice. We were there all day, from 8 AM to 9 PM, including getting ready there (super convenient), and the whole staff was lovely.

I really cannot recommend Gatsby on the Ocean enough! We just love it there. It still amazes me, after all the ups and downs the last few months due to the pandemic, that we were able to have such a beautiful, incredible wedding - I feel like it turned out better than what we had initially planned pre-covid! It felt like a "real" wedding and that we didn't lose out on anything. And also, another special thing about Gatsby on the Ocean is that it's a restaurant, so we will be able to revisit often for special occasions, like anniversary dinners, birthdays, etc.
