GDMEvents are the BEST wedding planners in Dominican Republic.Last January I was working with a popular planner in PC and they lost my venue.I already had 130 guest book and desperately reached out to every planner in Dominican Republic.That is how I landed in the hands of Marielle Joubert who I refer to as my angel.From the moment I contacted GDMEvents Marielle assured me that everything will be okay and they could help me.I trusted Marielle and met with her in person May 2019! Marielle is as nice enough to pick my fiancé and I up from our resort and accompanied us to our site visits.What I appreciate most about Marielle is her transparency and honesty throughout this process.She found the BEST options within in my budget.My wedding looked like a millionaire’s wedding lol and I’m totally not!
Marielle communicated with me almost daily and kept me calm throughout this entire process.The day of my wedding my bridesmaids and I were greeted my a GDM Event employee,Estefany who stayed with us the entire time up until I walked down the aisle.So thoughtful and kind!! Like who even does that?! When I walked into my wedding venue the day of my wedding I couldn’t help but cry everything was so beautiful.My wedding was literally PERFECT soooo seamless nothing went wrong.The decorations were perfect, the food was amazing,my DJ was LITTTTTTT, everything was smooth thanks to GDMEvents! What could of been a horror story turned out to be a fairytale wedding thanks to Marielle and the ladies at GDMEvents!! Thank you ladies for everything I’m so happy ❤️❤️❤️ everyone keeps raving about how amazing my wedding was and it’s only because of GDMEvents I did nothing but show up. -

Incredible team
Wow we were blown away how amazing GDM was for our wedding. The fact that you get three wedding planners makes everything so much easier, they all work so well together and all have their own strengths that make them a great team. There wasn’t a thing that went wrong. They relieved my wife from a lot of stress and they planned a dream wedding for us that we couldn’t even imagine if we tried. They are very affordable and have a lot of great connections. If they recommend any of their vendors don’t hesitate they have the best. They take care of every little detail. Thanks Again guys!! -

The best part was that they planned EVERYTHING in only three weeks. Gisselle, Dana and Marielle are involved in everything and they are committed to making every detail perfect and just the way you have imagined it. They even planned special surprises for us that we didn't expect, it was truly magical. 100% recommended! -

Our destination wedding in Cap Cana was an absolute dream, all to the credit of the wonderful ladies at GDM! From the first moment we started communicating with GDM, we realized that they easily outshined all other planners we had previously contacted in the DR. They were there for us from the start to finish, and were the best team to have to fulfill our dream wedding. These girls excel at what they do and they are easily one of the best in the area. They unequivocally exceeded our all of our expectations and we cannot thank them enough. For 6 months, Marielle kept in constant communication with us. Day and night, no matter how early or late in the day, she was there to answer any questions and put our concerns at ease. We could always rely on her to ease the stresses of planning a wedding from 3,500 miles away. She helped us actualize any ideas we had for our wedding ,all the while making things work to fit our budget. She was undeniably our greatest aide during the entire wedding planning process. These girls know the ins and outs of Punta Cana and were even able to find us the best photographers, videographers and vendors any bride could ever hope to find (even in a short 6 months time). On the wedding day, Dana was there, bright and early to assist with anything and everything during the getting ready process while also keeping things on track with the day-of agenda. She was amazing, and I felt extremely lucky to have her there to rely on. Giselle worked her magic behind the scenes and was equally marvelous. All three girls are not only extremely attentive, well-organized, dependable, and very skilled at what they do, they are also some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. They are absolute angels and to put it simply, they are the best. Our wedding day was full of love and joy - all done in a beautiful setting. Our guests have not stopped raving about just how amazing everything was! Nothing was taken for granted, from the big important details to even the most trivial of things. The ladies at GDM even had a few elements of surprise planned for us during our wedding day that solidified just how amazing they are. We are beyond thankful to the ladies at GDM and we will always hold them near and dear to our hearts.

From the first-time we met and had our initial meeting they were attentive and responsive to our questions, requests and even provided emotional support when it got a bit overwhelming. My wife and I did not know that when we hired GDM we would be gaining friends for a lifetime. Our wedding was perfect! The decoration, the food, the cocktail hour, the ceremony, the reception, the before-and-after, it was all ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! GDM did such a good job that our wedding has been featured in a major marketing campaign. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. Love you GDM!

Crismery Sent on 10/09/2018My wedding was in Santo Domingo, and GDM is located in Punta Cana. So basically they did a destination wedding on my own country :). The experience was to die for... just perfect, pretty much what you would dream of doing with your best friend; only in this case it was a team of 3 really cool fairies with no wings. The team was task oriented and manage to understand completely the theme I was going for and of course keep me grounded budget wise. They took into consideration every single detail that matter to me and made sure they were there, and the ones I didn't think of, they reminded me of. Sometimes we fall in love with Pinterest Wedding and believe that if we don't get exactly every furniture, vase or flower like the picture we have, is not going to be ok; THIS IS SO WRONG!!!! One of the things I loved the most about my experience with them was how they took my photos as INSPIRATION and did my wedding MINE, not a silly copy from some random overseas bride that is nothing like me. My wedding was a reflection of me and my husband and GDM did that with care and cool!!!! Overall I got my dream wedding come true and they were in great length responsible for that success...We will be forever grateful!

Wendy Sent on 10/01/2018My experience with , My Name is Wendy I’m from Dominican Republic but I live in Connecticut , I had a Destination wedding because my husband is Colombia , First this 3 ladies are a angels in my live , I was planning my wedding with another wedding planner and At last minutes she told me that she couldn’t do my wedd, just One week for me Wedding, I was nervous and frustrated because I have guessed from diferents part of the world, I found this 3 angels and in only 1 week they planner my beautiful dream wedding, that week we had the hurricane Irma in Dominican Republic , and I was panic and nervous but guet wat , everything came out perfect, the decorations was beautiful, they take care about everything in the Wedding, My husband and I had the most beautiful and amazing wedding because this 3 angels ladies , they are the best in Punta Cana , very professional and care , they work with passion and love , everything time that I see my wedding pictures I crying because The wedding was perfect, this 3 ladies workd hard in 1 week planning my wedding, thanks Ladies , love Wendy M

Victoria Sent on 10/08/2018Thanks to GDM we had all-stars all-around! They organized a beautiful beachside destination wedding for my husband and I in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Our wedding day only reinforced how wonderful they are. Even in high-pressure last-minute situations (it literally rained 1 hour before the wedding!), without exception they calmly moved things along beautifully, balancing professional expertise with sensitivity and poise. They took it all in stride. All three of them personified grace under fire, and they made it all look easy. In addition to being the extremely organized, efficient, meticulous, patient and brilliant planners they are, Dana, Marielle, and Gisselle are simply great people — warm, kind, compassionate, intuitive, full of heart... sweethearts all three. It's one thing to be highly respected in your industry, but it's another to be adored by both clients and peers. Plus they are just cool and fun, not to mention capable of miracles. In the end, our wedding was what we envisioned and hoped for: a beautiful celebration of nature and love. Our guests had a glorious time, and that's what was most important to us. We are so grateful to GDM Events and the incredibly talented vendors they helped us find, all of whom worked tirelessly to bring our dream to life! Kaitlyn Sent on 10/11/2018We got married February 18 at La Cana golf club and literally EVERY DETAIL was perfect. I am a graphic designer and had very specific taste and vision for our day and they nailed it completely.
I was put in a position last fall where I had to fire our planner and we were left four months out from our wedding, with nothing planned. No decor, no flowers, no cake, no DJ, no transport, NOTHING! Our venue coordinator at the Westin, Ana was incredibly helpful and recommended GDM and they essentially saved our wedding. They are incredible to work with, amazing communicators ( Marielle and i literally texted almost everyday) and they were super patient and acoomodating with all of my ideas, changes, input and in general so easy to work with. They took over every detail and my husband and mom and I felt at total ease in the days leading up to the weddinng knowing we were in their capable hands.
In addition to beautiful decor they executed the evening flawlessly and kept the pace of the night going without a hitch. Little details made a huge difference. For example we had glow necklaces and sunnies for our guests and GDM had them cracked and ready to go in baskets where they passed out to each one of our guests, making everyone feel included and joining in on the fun, not just sticking them on the corner of the dance floor! Little details like that made the night, and literally so many guests commented that they had never been to a wedding where everything went so perfectly. In short we felt like our wedding was super special and important to them which is a great feeling and it resulted in amazing day!

Sharie Sent on 10/10/2018Para mi los mejores wedding planners del mundo, te dan la tranquilidad que uno necesita ese dia, para mi era vital que todo estuviera a tiempo y no solo estuvo a tiempo y super bien coordinado, sino que no terminaban de sorprendernos con sus detalles. Si quieres casarte con el mejor equipo de planners, que hasta te coordinan fotografo, video, te acompañan a todo lo que necesites y lo mas importante es que te ayudan a aterrizar tus ideas y presupuesto, porque a veces uno como novia tiene muchas ideas que no encajan dentro sel budget que uno tiene, pero lo mejor es que si no logran la misma idea te buscan la mas crercana y quedas igualmente de satisfecha. GDM no tendran aun el renombre que tienen otras planners, pero son mil veces mejores. Son lo maximo.

Our wedding Punta Cana
Well what can I say - nothing but good and positive!
We dealt with Dana throughout the whole planning of our wedding we started planning in mid September/October 2018 and our wedding was 8th March 2019. We had a small intimate wedding at a private villa and Everything we planned together was brought to life and we where not disappointed with one thing everything was just perfect. Sometimes there was time taken before getting an answer on things but this was purely down to emails going into junk mail and the distance between being in the uk & GDM being in DR and the time difference.. but in that issue it was always resolved within reasonable time.
We couldn’t fault Dana or her team on anything with the planning or the effort they put into our wedding, Dana and the team where present on our wedding day from start to finish even helped with translating our wishes to staff unable to understand our language so Thankyou. Dana took photos and sent them to me after the wedding which was so sweet, she also never made us feel like we where in a schedule she handled everything perfectly , we met the day before the wedding to run through it all and it was very helpful.
It was a perfect day, perfect wedding, perfect planning and I’m more than lucky we found you and your help. We couldn’t have done any of it without you! And I hope one day we cross paths again because it was a pleasure to work along side you! You became like a friend to us over the months and we will miss you!
I recommend anyone to put their trust and faith into Dana and the GDM team for any event you need organising they won’t let you down!
