  Our wonderful wedding

  For our wedding we were concerned about having a broad range of music as our guests ranged from 16 to 99 years old We had several international guests coming. George worked with us to give us something for everyone, and even accommodated having our dear friend sit in with the band for a couple of songs. We had jazz, swing, rock and traditional wedding music.
  George is such a gentleman to work with that the hall manager asked for his contact information! We are so happy that he was available for us. We got accolades for our celebration that mention how terrific the band was."

  Excellent music brought our wedding to another level

  The George Gee Swing Orchestra did a wonderful job at our wedding. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, George and his talented group of musicians set the mood. We wanted the best swing music along with Motown, pop and Jewish standards. His band delivered it all, I'd recommend them to anyone.

  George Gee was absolutely fantastic! He made an incredible MC, and his band had everyone out on the dance floor! I think we got more compliments on the band than we got on any other part of the wedding! His singer, John Dokes, has the perfect voice, and the band intermixed fast, slow, and medium songs at just the right rate. It's no understatement to say that George Gee made the night!

  George and his orchestra were fantastic! Our guest still comment 9 months later that it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. Everyone was dancing - even the non dancers. Worth every dollar!

  We love George Gee. Our wedding was in 2012 and our guests still remember the amazing band. We were already familiar with George Gee since we are part of the swing dancing scene in NYC, (as is he), and this was a dream band for us for our wedding. We knew we wanted the traditional swing music, but also klezmer (Jewish horas) and popular dance music (they did some great Motown) and they sounded amazing in all. Furthermore, he was able to accommodate our budget and fit the size of the band with our needs. There is so much stress in planning the wedding as well as on the day of the wedding, but I have to say, picking George Gee was one of the easiest and best choices we made.

  George Gee played my wedding 16 years ago and it is still one of the highlights of the day. The opening dance, the hora, these are the things we will always remember when we look back on that day. Every generation could relate to the music. And whenever we hear that big band sound, it echoes back to that terrific night where everyone danced.

  We've heard George Gee's swing orchestra for years and have always loved their sound! When we told them we wanted to book them for the wedding, George was so enthusiastic and on top of communication. Be sure to treat them very well your wedding day as they will definitely be one of the biggest highlights of your evening, besides the celebrating couple of course.

  Great band. Need to hire more musicians for big band sound. Doesn't really adhere to play list / don't play list. But talented musicians and vocalists.
