Unforgettable Elopement on the Amalfi Coast
We can't express enough how glad we are that we chose Georgia Louise Weddings. From the beginning, Georgia communicated very well, and made us feel at ease with planning a wedding. She took care of everything for us and ensured our day was exactly how we wanted.
Planning was organized and structured. Each zoom meeting we had addressed another part of our wedding. Georgia made made sure to keep us updated with emails in between.
It was very convenient to have our own website that we could scroll through and view different vendors. She has a selection of vendors that she's worked with and we could view all of their portfolios. Everyone on Georgia's team that we interacted with was professional and easy to work with.

Georgia is a super professional person, charismatic, she is attentive, wit many manyyy ideas, careful and above all available. She helped us with some critical details that were missing in our wedding. Always in a very cordial and efficient way. first of all Georgia is a great person and a professionist in her job. she understood what we woul like to have at our wedding at first meeting,expecially style. she was able to turn every our idea into reality. she is very creative, is a volcano of ideas and very helpful. I remember my very first impression of Georgia; I had sent some enquiry messages to several wedding planners back in 2019 and she was the first and only one to respond back within 5 minutes! When we had our first phone call with her, she promised us she was available at any time and could do literally anything for us. And wow has she lived up to her promise!!
What started off as what would be a wonderful celebration with our family and friends (who all live in Australia) in October 2020 turned out to be a nightmare when Covid hit. We decided to cancel our reception as Australia had closed their borders but wanted to still go ahead with the ceremony. Our original venue said we could not downsize our celebrations with them so Georgia worked hard and was able to secure us an even better venue (Villa Balbiano!) for a ceremony only with dinner for the same date. All was looking good and ready to go when my partner caught Covid a week before the wedding! It was devastating for us but Georgia was there, as our rock and guide. She once again worked really hard to communicate with and to rearrange all our vendors for our new wedding date in July 2021.
Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT. I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful it was, absolutely worth the wait. Everything went so smoothly and I know this is not an accident, this was Georgia’s hard work coordinating everything!! Our flowers, the design of our arch, the design of our table setting, the schedule of events, EVERYTHING was completely what we wanted.
Georgia’s greatest strength is her ability to listen to what you want and to tailor your wedding to who you are as a couple. Over the last 2 years, she has been consistently available (never takes more than a few minutes to reply to you!!), she is so supportive, she is very flexible, she is honest with you and guides you with her experience. Most importantly, she cares about you and wants your day to be perfect. AND to top it all off, she is extremely funny and had my partner and I both laughing outrageously with every phone call.
Please, please, please do yourself a favour and hire Georgia as your wedding planner. You will not regret it!

I will start from the beginning....
Georgia mentioned that she had vertigo and wasn’t feeling well. Trust me, we have all had to work when we are not feeling well, and I can wholeheartedly sympathize with that. With that said, it doesn’t look right when you don’t want to come to the bride’s room on the wedding day to discuss the Ceremony but you can post on IG pictures of my dog.
The truth is, her social media promotion takes priory over her brides.
In the end, my day wasn’t ruined but there were certainly some cringe moments that I would like to forget.
One of the most notable being:
After we said our “I do’s” we were super excited, and we began walking down the aisle.
Seems Georgia Louise wasn’t ready to throw the rose petals, and she yelled out in front of all our guests “GO BACK” when we were already halfway down the aisle (we stopped in confusion and opted to keep walking).
I could go on, but I don’t want to relive it (costly miscommunication, not following through, etc., etc.)
Every guest noticed her unprofessionalism, shame because I had spoken so highly of her. She was amazing at the beginning, and I cannot tell you what happened.
I would not recommend her. Unfortunately, I did before my actual wedding day and that was a mistake and I have apologized to that bride.
To end it on a positive note because this is not a nice review: Debbie (Georgia’s mother) is probably the best florist in Como, the highest grade of professional and you should unequivocally hire her as your florist).

dear Kellie first of all I am very sorry that you did not like the service which for me is the most important thing.
I didn't have vertigo, at 10pm on your wedding day I was hospitalized and I coudn’t work until 4 days ago, so exactly for 24 days.
despite this I stayed at the wedding with another person of my team who was not included in the service, knowing of my conditions I did not want to miss but at the same time I preferred not to risk.
you say I was not present in the bride's room on the wedding day. it is not true. I came, talked to your bridesmaids for the rehearsal of the ceremony and talked to your friend that was doing the celebrant and taking care of the music program, which was not previously scheduled between you and the musicians. she also asked me the favor of finding her a tripod, I went down from the room, solved the music problem with the musicians and went to look for the tripod. also remember that gatherings cannot be created and I cannot stay in a covid period in a room with 7 people for an extended time. I have to protect my self and my job.
as for the episode at the end of the ceremony, villa Cipressi has a small ceremony area with pebbles, for professionalism I cannot afford to go to the center of the isle doing noise to give the petals to throw during the ceremony. don't say I yelled, that's not true. I asked you to wait another 5 seconds so as to allow me to give you a very nice exit and to give the photographer the chance to capture the moment to leave you a good memory, but you ran away, I still don't know why!
you say I was amazing in the beginning and then something changed. 1 month before the event, you called me at midnight very worried about a problem you had with the music agency. given your concern, I have not even looked at the time and I called the agency to understand the problem. Remember that I gave you various contacts although I was not required to do so, but I wanted to follow you and help you. I tried to explain to you, that the problem you had with the musicians was a misundestanding. you contacted two years ago another agency (I also gave you this contact), you asked for a specific musician but the price did not suit you, so you asked me for the name of the other agency. everything ended in the following way (you don’t know it, but now you will):
you canceled a service inside the contract 3 weeks before the wedding (this cannot be done), with the last company of music. knowing what you had just been through the month before the wedding, I preferred not to tell you anything and I paid the penalty out of my own pocket, even though I did not have nothing to deal with this! you privately contacted the first musician who cost too much, without going through the music agency that found him for you, creating a big problem between the two people, the musician and the agency. from that precise day on, you have changed towards me, I did not. for me what matters is that the wedding goes in the best way and that my clients feel comfortable, and that's how it went for me, all according to plan. I am still sorry for your words, knowing that we had a very strong two-year relationship, which in reality should have lasted only one week for the signed contract, before the event. Say please thank you to your husband that was asking me every half an hour how I was feeling, it was really nice from him.
