  Oh my goodness - my cake from Geri's Confections was literally the best cake I have ever tasted in my life. Geri does a WONDERFUL job! The cake itself was gorgeous and looked identical to the picture that I showed her. Geri is great at communicating and her delivery to the venue was prompt. I absolutely recommend Geri's Confections. Trust me - you will not regret asking her to make your wedding cake.

  So glad we made this choice. Not only was her cakes and cupcakes she provided for our daughters princess party absolutely beautiful, the price was great as well ! She even delivered the cakes to our home which was super convienant!

  We hosted an open house, "christening" our new apartment at Westminster Canterbury in late October, and we asked Geri's Confections to make us a special dessert item in Fall colors for our party. The "cake pops", which were delivered to us just hours before our guests were to arrive, were terrific. In fact, they were so beautiful, many folks thought they were too pretty to eat and took them home as favors. Later, when "thank you" notes began to arrive, we got great comments like this one from a guest who is a well-known Lynchburg hostess and an accomplished baker herself: "Oh my word--I just tasted that lollipop--WOW !   Geri made the groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner in October. In my first meeting with Geri, I could tell right away she'd be a wonderful person to work with! She cared about me and my fiance's story - and gave creative ideas for how we could make our cake a special part of our wedding weekend celebration. The cake she made, which showcased our recently deceased Rottweiler, Deuce, clothed in our favorite football team's jersey, was not only delicious, but was a perfect depiction of our loyal companion. My groom, Eric, was so surprised and our guests rant and raved about how "real" our cake looked! Geri's superb customer service, her attention to detail, her amazing creative talent, and her delicious baking skills, make here an excellent choice for our baker! I would highly recommend Geri's Confections to anyone who is looking for a yummy, beautiful, and unique cake for their special celebration.

  Geri made a skull cake for my daughter's birthday. It was a fantastic job, and everyone loved it. Geri is a very talented lady and I would recommend her for your cake needs.

  When my son was to be wedded, I attended a bridal event with my future daughter-in-law (f.d.i.l.) where Geri Confections was a featured vendor. I was so impressed with the quality if the cake samples I made an appointment to investigate what Geri might charge to provide a Groom's cake for the wedding. The interview was so professional but personal that I persuaded my f.d.i.l. to set up an appointment to check out the wedding cake possibilities. Prior to meeting with Geri, the f.d.i.l. was determined to have a friend bake the cake (I was NOT a fan of this idea). Geri was so kind, helpful and flexible that the f.d.i.l. was bowled over and ordered her cake from Geri. On the day of the wedding some things went wrong BUT Geri was NOT one of them! The cakes arrived on time, were set up and arranged in a professional manner and in addition to looking fabulous were delicious to boot!

My now husband and I weren't set on a specific design for our cake, so we gave Geri some details of our wedding and gave her creative reign. In no time at all she came up with a beautiful design inspired my unique bouquet. Seeing our cake for the first time on our wedding day took my breath away! It was GORGEOUS and more importantly DELICIOUS! I am STILL getting compliments on how good and how beautiful our cake was and we are so appreciative for all Geri's hard work! We would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!
