Best Photographer for the best day
We found Lindsay of Ginger Fox Photography through our venue and it was the best choice we made for our wedding day and Picking Ginger Fox Photography for your wedding will be the best choice that you make too! Lindsay was instrumental in helping us plan our day of timeline and guide us through general wedding procedures. On our wedding day she was flexible with our time line and made us feel instantly comfortable during the many many pictures. My husband and I don't find ourselves in front of the camera much and Lindsay help put us at ease. She was professional but fun and playful and it shows through in all of our pictures. Our guests only noticed Lindsays ability to be everywhere for the best shots but never in anyone's way. We received our sneak peek quickly and then only few weeks later we had all of our wedding photos in our inbox. They are absolutely gorgeous and captured our personalities perfectly. -

Lindsay was phenomenal! We want to have more parties just to have an excuse to work with her again. We started with her for our engagement shoot thinking it would give us a taste of what it would be like to work with her for the wedding. We were sold before the first shoot event started. She was ON TOP of it. She asked us questions to help us think about what we wanted, she was thorough and clear in email communication, she offered help and delivered each time I reached out with a question. While doing the shoot she gave us lots of encouragements, tips, and helped keep us relaxed and comfortable. This helped to really capture the two of us being US. She was so easy to work with in terms of logistics, had clear pricing, was professional in every way. So many people, including those who were subjects of formal photographs but not only them, commented on how great she was. She was assertive when she needed to be (gathering people, time checks, adjusting lighting or positioning) and then the rest of the time was both invisible and also somehow everywhere things were happening all at once. She was a great collaborator, full of ideas, so creative and knowledgeable about her craft, and ultimately just such a pleasant additional to the event and very chill and excited energy. LOVE everything about working with Lindsay and Ginger Fox. -

Lindsay was amazing for our wedding! She has infectious energy that everyone around her feels. The photos we received were outstanding and we will be using them for many years to come. On top of all that, she is super organized and made the whole process from start to end so easy for us. My husband and I would hire her for any type of event. -

REVIEW: Hire this woman! I work in the creative field so finding a terrific photographer to capture our wedding day and all of the important moments that I want to hang onto forever - that was super important. Lindsay’s talents as a photographer speak for themselves. I mean, go to her portfolio. Like … come one. Extremely evident that this woman has mad skills. I knew from her work product and IG stalking that Lindsay was extremely talented. What I didn’t know? Lindsay has an incredible knack for making people feel comfortable, at ease, and free to be themselves. My wife and I aren’t really into photos lol. We don’t post a whole bunch to social media and my other half in particular doesn’t always enjoy being in the spotlight. Lindsay was so much fun throughout. She felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having some good snaps of these important memories. We used Ginger Fox Photography for our engagement photos, our rehearsal party, and the wedding. It’s perhaps one of the best choices we made in our vendor hiring. Lindsay is organized, meticulous, and is so obviously experienced. Sometimes we’d be like … let’s do this! And she’d be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I’ve seen. (SO HELPFUL!) She’d listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. Inevitably on our wedding day, everyone was pretty high-stress. Between our shots she’d tell us to breathe and relax and it was incredibly helpful. She managed our family portraits (two very large and very squirrely Irish and Italian families) like a pro. When we got the photos back we were almost in tears to see how beautiful they turned out. Five stars. A+. If you are considering another photographer your search is over. Lindsay Ladd wins everything. -

We hired Lindsay for our wedding last year, (June 2019) and she worked with us from the engagement shoot all the way to getting the pictures from our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only is Lindsay incredibly professional and detail oriented, but she goes above and beyond for her clients, and treated us like family! She is incredibly fun to work with and is great at making you feel comfortable with having your picture taken, which was so helpful to us both camera shy folks! Not to mention, when we got the photos, they were fantastic! She has such raw talent and is such a gentle spirit! For those looking for queer competent/affirming photographer, she is your gal. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ginger Fox Photography and Lindsay Ladd!

Intimate & Fun
We planned on meeting with a couple of wedding photographers, but after sitting down with Lindsay, we hired her that day without talking to others because we immediately liked her. She was happy to work with us on the type of photos we wished to have, which in our case was candid photography.
Her photos captured very beautiful moments and turned out fantastic. She used the environment, guest's expressions, and energy of the room masterfully. Her final photos were very highly received from all of our guests.
During the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, she was such a pleasure to be around. We were very lucky to have found her, and we highly recommend her. -

Lindsay is a phenomenal photographer with a beautiful energy that added to the joy and excitement of our wedding day. From her extremely detailed and organized schedule for the day to her calming and joyful demeanor, we feel so fortunate to have had her shoot our wedding. She captured so much love and beauty within each and every photo; the fact that she could make two awkward people who hate photos of themselves look glamorous and in love is remarkable to me!!! With her direction and artist's eye she provided stunning shots with incredible lighting, amazing details and great effects (focus on us, blurred background, for example). She also provided many versions of the different shots and lots of versatility within the location of our ceremony. Additionally, she took many photos of our guests and provided posed photos with individual groups if they requested one. The added bonus is that she's just a very fun and genuine person and really put me at ease with all the nerves and butterflies I was feeling in my stomach that day! Her candids are flawless, her posed photos are gorgeous, and her technique is impeccable. I couldn't recommend her more! -

Lindsay shot my wedding on top of Mt Hood (check out the gallery on her site - link below). I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I have been present for three weddings she has shot. One was outdoor in the rain, one was on a farm on a sunny day, and my own was on the side of a mountain in a snow storm and then in a dark mountain lodge. In every setting she has captured stunningly beautiful photos while bringing an incredible positive energy that shines through in her work. When Lindsay is around, everyone wants to join in and have fun and help get the perfect shot.
She simply brings a contagious energy to any event she shoots. She managed to convince all of our wedding guests to go outside in a blizzard at 7000’ elevation for a group shot, and she climbed on a roof to capture the moment perfectly.
She is also simply a technically phenomenal photographer. She nails the lighting indoors and outdoors, in the rain and sun and snow. She captures stunning group shots and beautiful fine detail shots.
She even helped us plan out the itinerary for our day to maximize her time and the shots we could get throughout the day.
If you’re looking for someone to capture a big moment, you’ve found them.

Fabulous experience with Lindsay! The photos came out even better than we had imagined capturing raw emotion, love, connection and intimacy. She was so easy to work with, down to earth, communicative, skilled, professional, and got the photos back in a little less than two weeks! We are beyond grateful that to Ginger Fox Photography for capturing our wedding and would recommend to everyone! In many ways interacting with Lindsey before, during and after the wedding felt like interacting with a friend. We LOVED working with Lindsey, do yourself a favor and hire her for you next event! -
User2667696 Sent on 06/29/2016Lindsay has so many wonderful qualities, from personal, to professional, to technical. If you read nothing else, read this: hire her now. She is a wonderful human being who makes excellent photographs.
Let's start with technical, since that's how we began working with her in the first place. We found Lindsay through her reviews (Yelp and others) and were incredibly impressed with her abilities. She has a great eye, but more than that, she has the technical ability to carry out her vision across a variety of settings, lighting conditions, and skin tones. She can play with light in fun ways and she can also take very classic portraits. Lindsay's versatility led us to her in the first place, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Next, Lindsay is incredibly professional. From start to finish, she communicated well and was timely at each stage (even delivering our finished photographs a bit ahead of schedule). Her photographs are excellent and exactly as promised. It's also incredibly important to note that her photo packages include the full-sized files. Read that again. Almost no one does this, but it meant so much to us that we could keep the full record of our marriage. That said, we still plan to order some prints through her because archival quality prints are worth the money (and her prices are eminently reasonable) and because after working with her we want to do everything we can to support her business.
Speaking of which, Lindsay is SO MUCH FUN. Her enthusiasm and energy bring out the best in her subjects (that's you!) and make for fantastic photographs. Our guests came up to us throughout the wedding (and afterward, too) to tell us how much they enjoyed being around her.
In summary, Lindsay is fantastic. We were thrilled with her and with her work, and would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

She asked the right questions and didn't try to push anything on us throughout the process. She shoots great images at a great price and is just really cool. We recently received all of the photos on a flash drive and can't wait to share them with our guests. Thanks Lindsay!
