Kathy and the entirety of the Glenora staff made our special day perfect. Not only did we have a bit of a unique wedding, but we also had to call an audible the day-of due to inclement weather. Kathy and the staff were so amazing and flexible, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that our wedding still went off without a hitch. The venue itself is breathtaking and almost looks surreal. The views will make for some of the best pictures we could ask for. The food was outstanding and drew compliments from all of our guests. All of the rooms were clean and cozy, and the cottage we stayed in was the perfect place to prepare for our big day. I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff, venue, and food was and I would recommend Glenora to anyone to make their wedding day truly special!

Right from the planning stages Kathy at Glenora was professional, kind, knowledgable and gracious. She never blinked when asked so many questions. She always looked great and responded quickly! She takes care of so much~ we were so appreciative of her expertise. You will not go wrong celebrating such a special day at Glenora!

"This is the best wedding I have ever been to!" My husband and I heard this from nearly every guest throughout our reception on our perfect day, September 10th. When we spent a few days touring venues back in 2020, Glenora was our final stop. The insanely gorgeous view of Seneca Lake was the reprieve we needed from that crazy year. We knew instantly that this was our place. Courtney was our right-hand woman from day one. She was warm and attentive throughout our planning process. We met Kathy later on in planning, but she was just as kind and communicative, especially at our wedding rehearsal. The staff at Glenora made our day so easy. They set up our decor beautifully; ensured we had tastes of every appetizer and dessert; and boxed up everything for us to transport to our cars after our incredible wedding was over. They even let our party utilize fire pits after our reception to continue the fun! Every single person left our wedding feeling the love and enchantment. This is the best place to commemorate your forever with your best friend!

During our wedding venue search, Glenora was the very first place we visited...and wow, did they set the bar high! From the beautiful views, to the fantastic food, to the true gem of the place - coordinator James Merritt! - we knew that Glenora could not be beat and we're so happy we chose it for our wedding. Pre-pandemic, the planning process could not have been easier. And even during the pandemic, with what seemed like weekly pivoting of plans, James stayed unbelievably flexible and kept everything on track. I can't emphasise how much James' calmness meant to us during those challenging months. He is truly a master of his craft and I would recommend booking at Glenora simply to have the opportunity to work with him (the views are a bonus)!
 
In the end, we could not have been any happier with how our wedding weekend turned out. We had a blast from the very moment we stepped foot on the property - and for that, we say a major THANK YOU to James and the team. The entire weekend was a wonderful experience for our family, and one that we'll cherish forever. We can't wait to plan an anniversary trip back to visit. :)

We loved everything about having our wedding with at Glenora! The set up at Glenora is beautiful and we loved having the dance floor outside so people could hang out on the deck without being separated from the dance floor. It was also cool to have people flow from inside to outside and down onto grass for some cornhole. Everyone thought the food was delicious- definitely no typical boring wedding food here! The sparkler send off leading to the firepit after party was the perfect way to end the night and it was so nice to stay on site so we didn't have to worry about going anywhere.
The view is beyond gorgeous, the wine is obviously amazing and the food was delicious! Even if there wasn't all that, it is worth having your wedding here because James simply is THE BEST! Throughout our wedding planning process, James was there to answer any of our questions and offer any advice / recommendation. He kept saying that's how its supposed to be when I would say “that was easy.” As soon as we dropped off stuff there on our wedding weekend, James and his team took it from there so we literally didn't have to worry about anything. We had so many people comment on how he was everywhere making sure everything was going seamless. We really can't say enough about how much we love everything about Glenora! If you are getting married, get married at Glenora! you will not regret it!! We can't imagine our wedding being as perfect if we got married anywhere else!

This was the most beautiful location for both our ceremony and reception! I loved everything about having my wedding at Glenora!

This was the most PERFECT venue for our wedding. We could gush about them ALL day!! Kathy and James (the event coordinators) were simply wonderful and made our planning experience seamless and stress-free. We would give them a million star rating if we could!! Glenora and everyone who works there made our wedding a fairytale that we will cherish forever.

I can't say enough about how much we loved Glenora! The venue is beautiful, the view is stunning, and the food is exceptional. Kathy and James, the event managers, are amazing and made everything flow seamlessly from the beginning of the planning process through to the big day. They truly thought of every detail to make our wedding perfect! Once things got started, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves because everything was taken care of. They also have a large patio where we had our dance floor - we loved the outdoor dancing! Our guests all commented on the beautiful venue and delicious food -- the filet mignon and the seared scallops were 2 favorites. Everyone also enjoyed staying at the Inn, and the out of town guests loved exploring the surrounding Finger Lakes region. We would highly recommend Glenora as a wedding venue!

The first thing that struck me about Glenora is the unbelievable view. The grounds are simply beautiful; from the inn you have a 360 degree view of vines and the lake that is at the bottom of the soft hill the vineyard is planted on. This alone would have convinced us to get married there!



However, what makes this place truly first class is that it just continues to deliver. The food is amazing and creative, and the wine is delicious. The most important part for us was that our guests could stay on the premises. We had guests fly in the West Coast, the South, England and Poland, and many drive in from around the Northeast. Because everyone was in one place and got to spend time together, by the end of the weekend we had a room full of a 100 (hungover) new friends!

The most special thing about Glenora is our dear Kathy, the event manager. We planned our wedding from abroad and we really could not have done it without her. She was responsive, reliable, organised, and proactive. Kathy never said no to us once; whatever we wanted to make our day personal and special she made happen! And on the day, Kathy got everything set up and organised, ran the whole day and stayed right up until the end to make sure that every detail was absolutely perfect. She is also a kind and wonderful person to be around, which makes such a difference in the whirlwind that is wedding planning!

I may be incredibly biased as the bride, but I think we had the wedding ever! But shouldn't every bride feel that way?

I could not have picked a better venue for our weddinng! It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was wonderful, the wedding planners were a HUGE help and so flexible, caring, and sweet!

I cannot say enough good things about Glenora.
First, Kathy and James will guide you through every detail that you need for the wedding and make sure nothing is missed. They do three weddings a weekend in the summer, but will treat you like they only bride they deal with all year. They are very quick to respond and a joy to deal with.
Second, the food at glenora is.... the best wedding food I have had in my life, and I am not the only one who has said that. A huge selection, and even the roasted chicken was mind blowing.
Third, the venue itself is well kept and beautiful. Our pictures are stunning and we hardly had any decorations because they are not needed.
Glenora is perfect and well worth every penny.

We used Glenora for our ceremony and reception, and we and several of our guests stayed here as well. I will say it is not the most inexpensive place in the area, but we feel we absolutely got value for our money! The coordinator Chrystie was lovely. She was friendly and genuine, and seemed interested in us and our wedding as more than ‘just one more wedding’-something I always appreciated in a vendor! She was responsive to email and phone calls, sent us materials promptly, and helped us stay organized and made sure we had made all the necessary decisions. She was great at dealing with all of our little details-we did not have a big or complicated wedding, but we were definitely last minute planners and she dealt very well with that, taking our requests in stride. They were flexible in accommodating requests for us to make sure we had what we needed for a Jewish wedding-for example allowing us to bring in an outside food item (a Jewish challah bread) for a blessing, and providing a table and bottle of wine for a wine ceremony, a place to put kippot-skullcaps-for guests, etc. They were also great in helping us figure out how to set up an internet connection so the ceremony could be sent to my husband’s grandmother via Skype, providing freezer space for our ice cream cake, and refrigerator space so we could pick up our flowers the day ahead of the wedding to save money! Chrystie was very helpful in organizing our rehearsal and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. She even thought to provide us with towels when we went to take our photos in the rain! The food at our reception was delicious: the salad was incredible, the eggplant parmesan was PERFECT, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the baked ziti was great, too! They were great about making sure the food was vegetarian (well, pescetarian). They also made sure that there was a gluten free option for our one guest who required that, as well, even though we were not aware of that until the day before our

We absolutely loved our wedding venue from the start. It is at a winery overlooking a lake and the view is breathtaking. The wedding turned out beautifully, exactly like we had pictured it. Chrystie, our event planner, and her staff did an amazing job taking care of everything. We didn't worry about a thing all night and we really felt like they all went above and beyond and helped make our wedding special and wonderful. We really can't thank them all enough!

This was a very costly venue to have a wedding at but it was amazing and well worth the added cost than a regular hall. The views were great and wroth paying the extra for.

Glenora is a vineyard / winery located in upstate New York, near Ithaca / Watkins Glen. The winery has a 30 room inn on sight, a beautiful restaurant with views of the vineyards & lake.

When planning our wedding we debated a Caribbean destination wedding or a winery wedding - we ended up with a Winery Weekend Wedding, which was perfect, we got the destination feel where everyone traveled & stayed overnight. We are so happy we decided on Glenora as our wedding location.

Sherry, our coordinator was absolutely fantastic in helping me plan our wedding weekend. Any question I had in the planning process she answered quickly and thoughtfully, she really helped make the whole planning process as stress free as possible.

I received several comments from our guests complimenting Sherry specifically as well as the entire staff at Glenora for their friendliness, courtesy, everything was just perfect! Our guests couldn't get over the views, the property & the food (some commented not only was it the best "wedding food" they have had, but it was easily the top 5 filet mignon they had EVER eaten!)

If anything went wrong, I didn't know it - The Glenora team was truly amazing, and that helped us to just relax and enjoy our wedding weekend.

I absolutely positively loved Glenora for our wedding. Working with Kathy and James was so wonderful. I don't live in the area and I was a little worried about planning a wedding from afar but they made me feel so comfortable with the process. They are truly professionals at what they do. Every little small request that my husband, myself, or our families had they met with a smile on their face. And the venue itself?! Stunning! Our wedding guests couldn't stop complimenting on the views from the winery and the staff at Glenora.

We hosted a wedding for about 55 guests at Glenora. The planning went very smoothly and they were very helpful with managing plans and arrangements the weather that day as it was raining on and off for our outdoor ceremony. Kathy was a life saver. The food was very good, but the kitchen seemed to get backed up so the timing was off a little. It was worth what we paid and they were very flexible.

I had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Glenora! Kathy and James took such great care of me, and when I was a stressed out mess the week before the wedding, they put me completely at ease, and put everything together for me in such a perfect way, taking care of details I hadn't even considered. All I heard from all of our wedding guests how much of a great time they had, and the setting could not have been more beautiful. It is classy, a bit rustic, and the food was amazing! It ended up being on the pricier side for that area, but also the best quality of any place we looked at. Also, our photographer told us he had never shot at a wedding venue with more options for breathtaking backdrops! We were so pleased with everything about Glenora, and I can promise any bride or groom that chooses it that you will have a professionally-run, beautiful day.

We chose Glenora as our wedding venue for a few reasons. We wanted to be married outside, on Seneca lake and at a winery. Glenora has beautiful vineyards and a beautiful view of the lake, but it is on the opposite side of the sunset. My photographer did manage to get some great pink sky sunset shots anyways! Glenora also has a restaurant, catering services, hotel and a cottage on site, which was convenient for us and our guests. The hotel was great, because I was able to hang out with my bridesmaids all day, getting our hair done and ordering wine and room service! We rented the cottage on the property and that became our after party place and it was so fun!! The food was wonderful, not overly priced and I got a lot of compliments on it. The ceremony and reception spaces were fully customizable and we were able to put up any kind of decorations we wanted. The events coordinator Chrystie was very helpful and met al of our needs, including allowing us to choose custom beer for the reception! The only negative was that during the cash bar that we were paying for, the bartender kept asking if our guests wanted to upgrade their alcohol choices and we ended up with a $2,000 extra bar bill the next morning. So---specify the kind of drinks you want available. Other than that, everything was beautiful, the wine is DELICOUS, we had a great venue and so many compliments. Thanks Glenora!

My husband and I are total wine-o's, and we love Glenora's wine, so it was easy to get our hearts set on having our wedding there. The wedding planners, Chrystie and Kathy, were very businessy and didn't listen to what I really wanted. Chrystie sent me meal choices, which I made and included on invitations to guests, only to have her tell me A WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT that those meal choices were not available.

Also, I did not include coffee in the dinner menu, but it was offered to my guests even though I requested that it wouldn't be.

The morning after the wedding, I paid the bill in full... or so I thought. We received a receipt at that time with a balance owed of "$0.00" yet we received another bill for $75.00 three weeks later. Apparently you need to pay a gratuity on your room rental as well (yet that wasnt in the contract).

When I called to ask about this, Chrystie (my wedding coordinator) wouldn't take or return my call. Finally I had to talk to three different people who said that it was Glenora's fault for not charging it originally, but that I had to pay anyway...
