  Incredible Experience!

  I typically don't write reviews, but am making an exception. I always have an extraordinary shopping experience at Gold N Carats. Whether it's their great attention to detail, amazing customer service, or competitive pricing, they always seem to knock out of the ball park! I'm always impressed by their professionalism. I hope they stay in business for many years to come!

  We love Lucinda and Jim! Lucinda is more like a good friend who you can easily talk to and doesn't give you the pushy salesman vibe. They took the time to spend with my FI to help custom pick the diamond and design the band for my engagement ring. I've been told that most places will give you only 3-4 options of diamonds to choose from. Lucinda and Jim provided my FI with over 15 different diamonds and made sure it matched every aspect he was looking for. My FI said that they spent hours on multiple different days with him to educate him about diamonds and jewelry. I LOVE my ring. We had to get it re-sized twice. The first time took 24 hours since they were re-sizing it down a whole size and a half. I have an intricate band so they wanted to make sure that all of the diamonds on it were secure after the re-sizing. I apparently have very small fingers so we had to get it done a second time since I didn't realize how tight it should be (even though everyone warned me). Jim was nice enough to do it for me while i sat there and waited. For all those who said it takes a them forever, did you work with their assistants because I know working with their assistants is a different feeling all together for me.

  My fiancee had my ring made here using a family diamond. They did a beautiful job with the setting but it took forever to get the ring back. He also had it appraised with the same jeweler and not only did it come back incorrect the first time, but it also took weeks to get it back which delayed his proposal i'm told. We went back to purchase our wedding bands and found them to be incredibly overpriced. I do love my ring, its one of a kind, but if you use them, be prepared to wait.

  Dissapointed from the beginning

  my wife and I made a visit to gold n carats for estimates to have jewelry repaired and to have rings polished. WOW, I mean OH WOW! Most of there jewelry is set up by someone else, the estimates were ridiculous HIGH on what we were needing repaired. My wife wanted here platinum ring polished and they wanted to keep it, What does that mean? still have not got an answer. So we do not trust gold n carats, we took our business elsewhere, where the local jeweler polished my wife ring while we shopped around. Thank you Gold N Carats for making us choose a different jeweler.

  wanting my wife to upgrade her wedding set, so we stopped by gold n carats for any estimate. long story short the price was outrages, and it was going to take 2 months, probably because they don't do all of there work. they send it out which costs the customer more, easy enough we do not recommend.
