Wedding planning can be stressful, but they have a way of making the monumental list of to-do's manageable and even fun.
On the day of the wedding, when something inevitably goes awry, Golden Chic works their magic and no one is ever the wiser.
If you want to remove the stress from your entire wedding experience, Golden Chic is the way to go. -
User981412 Sent on 10/19/2012We hired Golden Chic so that we would have someone working on our behalf, with our venue and other vendors, to ensure a beautiful and well-coordinated wedding day. Golden Chic was very responsive to our unique wishes for the day, and kept all of the vendors "on the same page" with us. Our coordinator was very professional in offering advice, answering our questions, keeping notes, and solving unexpected problems without a fuss. The day turned out to be stress-free and fun, just as we hoped it would, reflecting the efforts of many talented vendors happy to contribute to the success of the day. We appreciate what Golden Chic did behind-the-scenes to help us put together a memorable day of celebration.

Everything was in order, looked more amazing than I could have imagined and, best of all, I had absolutely nothing to worry about on my big day! I could focus on enjoying every moment! Working with Golden Chic for the wedding planning was easy and enjoyable. We received great vendor recommendations, amazing communication and help with the many, many decisions we had to make along the way. I really loved working with Sara and we stay in touch to this day! User1375616 Sent on 10/12/2013Golden Chic were very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. They will really meet you where you want to be, letting you do whatever you want to do yourself, and helping on other things. -
User975870 Sent on 10/16/2012The most telling review is when all vendors (including the venue) expect those directly referred by Golden Chic, said they wouldn't refer them to potential clients. While they have good recommendations for vendors, they aren't as professional, sophisticated or versed in high-end events as marketed on their site.

We feel the best review of a planner is when people keep coming back. We are now working with second and third daughters within the same families, who come back for every wedding in the family because they are so happy with the services they receive. We are very sorry that this particular couple did not feel we were able to deliver a high-end event for them. Many well-traveled guests said how it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended.
It saddens us that the accusations of unprofessionalism are listed; the instances this client speaks about are fully backed up by a paper trail, showing that we were in line with deadlines, had been overly informative with dates and instructions, and we were in line with getting everything done and beautifully executed. We were more than generous in this client's tardiness to pay us (which nullified and officially terminated our contract with them, though we continued to work for them in order for their wedding to remain on task), in having them over to our home for a meal, and in many instances when they breached contract (for example, keeping us abreast of communications happening between themselves and vendors, which they failed to do several times). Our patience, generosity and kindness toward them was just as professional and full fold as all our clients receive, and the overwhelming majority of our couples are thrilled with their experience and high-end weddings they receive from Golden Chic.
We ask our reviewers to read this review with a grain of salt, and know that we have a paper trail to refute the accusations made here.
