  Amazing store!

  This store is so special! They treat every single customer like family. The entire engagement ring shopping experience was so fun and was completely pressure free. Todd and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. We went through hundreds of rings and found exactly what I was looking for! We received so much information on diamonds that after our diamond consult my fiancé said “I think I’m technically a gemologist now!”. We knew within 5 minutes of being in the store that we would be customers for life! Best store ever!!!

  Great store, even better people

  I was terrified to go engagement ring shopping but shortly after walking in the door my fear was put to ease. Not sure if it was the friendly environment or the beer that calmed my nerves but seriously I can’t say enough good things about Gold’n Treasures! I highly recommend Todd and his team!

  They are so wonderful to work with. From the beginning phone call, to the advice, and the end result of a jaw dropping ring. Service is wonderful, they treat all customers with kindness and attentiveness. Refreshments during your visit are just icing on the cake!

  My husband and I are so happy with our rings. We loved the walk through discussing our different options for diamonds (even through the microscope) and being able to look at such a great selections of bands. You always feel welcome at Gold'n Treasures and everyone is so friendly. We know we got good quality jewelry and we even know every little bit about my center diamond, more then most people ever get to know their jewelry. We had one little bump when my husband's ring came back with unusual polishing but we were called right away, and after taking a look Gold'n Treasures sent it back to have it corrected and all was fine. We came in about a month before the wedding and everyone rushed to make sure we had both of our rings by the wedding day.

  We LOVE working with Todd and Monica at Gold n' Treasures! They are welcoming and professional. They were willing to take a lot of time on multiple occasions to help us find the wedding set we were looking for. I will recommend this jeweler to anyone I know looking for jewels for any occasion!

  My husband and I stumbled across Gold'n Treasures by chance because we won a gift certificate, and we just love it there! We used the gift certificate to have my engagement ring and wedding band appraised which had belonged to his great-grandmother. The owner, Todd, spent a lot of time with us while doing the appraisal, and we enjoyed it so much, we decided to go back there to buy my husband's wedding ring. We found a ring he loved, and ordered it. There was a minor issue with the order (they ordered an 8mm ring when we had asked for a 6mm), but they quickly got the issue resolved and got the correct ring in time for our wedding.   We have had wonderful experiences with Gold'n Treasures. Both setting family diamonds in engagement bands, selecting and ordering wedding bands, and inscriptions. We have been very happy with the results. Great service, great people.

  My husband and I went in before our wedding to look for his wedding band, and to get a family wedding band resized for me. Neither one of us know anything about the process - it was obvious that we had not been married before, and not shopped for rings before. We had two women helping us, the first didn't seem to know what she was doing and then the second was extremely condescending and scoffed at our lack of knowledge. My husband found a ring he liked the look of, and he was told "oh you don't want that one, it is no good" which might be true, but being told we needed to spend more for a different design was not helpful. I was not fitted properly for my ring, and when I went to pick it up the woman had an accusatory attitude - but it is not possible that I could have a) lied about my size (they fitted me) or b) gained enough weight to go up that much in size in one week. They fixed the ring sizing within a few days, which was helpful. They do offer you wine or coffee while you are shopping, I suppose if you have a lot of money to spend on jewelry and that is what you are into this could be the shop for you, but if you don't know what you are doing and need to be educated you should move on to another store.

  Terrible service and lack of knowledge

  My fiancé and I had the worst experience possible at Golden Treasures in St. Paul. We were lied to multiple times by two sales people and the owner. I first asked if there was a 30 day return policy and was told there was. When I went to return the ring at around 21 days they said they’d only do it with a $1500 restocking fee.
  The salesperson told me the setting would cover the inclusions on the diamond and I believed her. However I took pictures of the ring to Arthurs Jewelers and they said that would be impossible and that we were mislead. Arthurs also explained that the setting was a cheap Chinese knockoff and that the original designer that they used was in California.
  At Golden Treasures I had three, 1 carat diamonds to choose from and at Arthurs they had 40. 1 carat is the most common diamond for engagement rings and Arthurs was able to show me the same cut, clarity and color for considerably less money.
  I got no information or education on diamonds at Golden Treasures. At two other jewelry stores they wouldn’t even show me a diamond until I had good knowledge of the color, cut and clarity and how they affected the diamonds appearance.
  Golden Treasures has some decent reviews but of course you’re going to be treated well when you’re spending thousands of dollars. A persons true colors come out when the chips are down and that’s what I found out about Todd at Golden Treasures.
  I used Arthurs Jewelers to buy a ring for my first wife and couldn’t have been happier. They even bought back the diamond they sold me after I was divorced. No other jeweler in town will do that. I decided this time to use a smaller local shop and paid the price.
  We’re down $1500 but we’re not stuck with a cheap Chinese knock off and we didn’t buy a ring from a dishonest salesman.
