  Grace Estate Winery is definitely a "hidden gem" in the greater Charlottesville area! It has the most spectacular views of the Blue Ridge, a gorgeous (and large!) tent for guests, and a great space indoors in which the wedding party can get ready. Plus, it's at a much lower price than many other equally beautiful winery venues in the area! The staff at Grace Estate is willing to let you create your own space, and Linda (with Ben and others who worked there in June) coordinated with us on every detail to help us have the perfect, "picturesque" wedding - even to the point of helping us fit our many guests' cars in the parking area! Linda was very responsive over email, and the staff there allowed us to do site visits MANY times with all of our vendors and family members - which we really appreciated! Plus, Grace Estate is not far from Charlottesville and is easy to access (no gravel roads!), which is a huge plus for guests. Our guests raved about the venue, and we couldn't recommend it more!

  My husband and I had our wedding at Grace and it exceeded our expectations. Linda and the team in the tasting room were wonderful and attentive. Linda was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and even did a walk through with me which gave me a lot of great ideas. Our guests were mesmerized by the view at Grace and that's exactly why we picked it. I highly recommend this venue for weddings!!

  We can not express how beautiful it is at Grace Estate! The entire venue is absolutely stunning. And Linda was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. Just take a tour and see for yourself, the views are unbeatable!

  Grace Estate Winery has the best views of any winery outside of Charlottesville. Before choosing Grace Estate, we hadn’t heard much about this winery but I’m glad because it is a hidden gem! The views of the mountains were breathtaking and perfect for our ceremony and reception backdrop. Linda Clark and her staff were very professional and made it easy to plan my wedding leading up to the big day. Blair was our staff member for our wedding day and went above and beyond her duties to help coordinate with all of our vendors and make sure everything went smoothly ---- This is how GREAT Blair is – It had rained for days leading up to our wedding, so the grass could not be cut on schedule. The morning of my wedding, the grass still had not been cut…Before I even had a chance to worry, Blair’s spouse was out there on the riding lawn mower getting the job done! This brought me to tears and is a testament to staff their cares about their couples!
  
  A good thing about Grace Estate, is that the venue is PRIVATE and used for special events only. This meant we had the space for the day and were not limited to a certain timeframe like some other local wineries. The venue comes with a large tent with perimeter lighting and a dance floor. They do not provide any other vendors but I think it’s better that way! We were able to find local companies that provided the rentals, bathrooms, etc. That also means you can use your own caterer and bring your own alcohol that is not wine. The wine is delicious and very reasonably priced.
  
  I highly recommend anyone that is interested to take a tour of Grace Estate - I'm sure you won’t find a more beautiful view. To this day people still comment on how beautiful the views were at our wedding and we couldn’t be happier that we used Grace Estate Winery!

  We could not have found a wedding venue with a more beautiful view in the greater Charlottesville area! Linda Clark and her staff were easy to connect with and plan leading up to the day of and a staff member was provided on our wedding day for coordination with other vendors. The venue is PRIVATE and used for special events only so we had the space for the day and were not limited to a certain timeframe like some other local wineries. There are multiple options for the wedding ceremony set up which is important to make the day your own. The layout was perfect for table setup under a large tent for reception (we had 140 guests) and a large dancing area leaving enough room for the DJ and cake/gift tables as well. They offer an indoor bar area we used for our buffet during dinner and a cocktail room later in the night. There was ample parking and easy access for shuttles. The wine is delicious, of course, and was enjoyed by all the guests. We would highly recommend anyone make a visit up to Grace Estate - I'm sure you couldn't find a more beautiful view!

  Our wedding at Grace Estate was absolutely wonderful thanks to the amazing venue and staff! Linda Clark is a delight to work with and she was always quick and responsive even when I was frantically emailing her almost every day for the entire month leading up to the wedding. The venue is beautiful and private and can accommodate both large and small weddings. Linda was very helpful to work with and was always flexible and willing to meet with us when we needed to do so. This is without a doubt the most beautiful wedding venue in the area and it is half the price of most places. It's a steal!!

  The most beauitful mountian top mansion!

  Grace Estate Winery was a beautiful venue for our wedding. We booked about a year and half out to secure an October date. (Any brides that want fall foliage, I'd go for November, not October.) Overall, we had a great experience. One thing to keep in mind - the venue was incredibly reasonable to rent, but the tent sides and heaters cost almost the same amount as the venue. This wouldn't have changed our decision, but I wasn't completely prepared for the extra costs the week before the wedding. All our guests absolutely loved the venue and our pictures are stunning. The views on top of the mountain are the best in Charlottesville. Thanks for a great day, Grace Estate!

  Grace Estate has the most beautiful mountain view in the Charlottesville area - hands down! The estate is on the top of a big hill, with a permanent 40x80 tent with permanent flooring set off the back. Guests have access to a large indoor tasting room as well as the gorgeous upper level patio. All of our guests remarked on how beautiful the view and setting were! Grace Estate is new to the wedding scene, and the good thing for couples is that they allow you to customize in pretty much every way. You can bring in your own catering, rentals, decor, etc -- and open flames (candles) and sparklers are permitted! (The only restrictions are that tent add-ons have to come from a specific company, and they have some rules about music too.) We were able to access the venue (even though its generally closed to the public) as much as we wanted for walk throughs and to test out ideas, which was really nice. Their wine is also delicious (and they offer a sparkling option!) which is good because as with most vineyards you do need to order wine through them. Grace Estate is also a REALLY good value for this area. The rental fee is lower than most vineyards (but keep in mind that it doesn't include rentals or kitchen, and you will need to rent a restroom trailer) but it still ends up netting out at a very affordable level. Ben is the tasting room manager and was so helpful at every step of the process. Grace Estate was the site of our dream wedding and we absolutely loved it as our venue!

We had around 140 guests and received compliments about the spectacular view from every one of them. The space allowed a wide variety of options for where to hold the ceremony and reception as well as extra fun activities such as corn hole. We did run into some issues with tent lighting, but the staff was quick to fix the problem in time for the ceremony! It was a great value and the location requires little decoration due to the amazing surroundings.
