We went with Graceful Gatherings for our day of coordination needs, and it was the best decision we could've made! Cicely was BEYOND helpful and accommodating in helping us navigate planning a wedding from another state, and I honestly could not have pulled it off without her. She made the venue into everything we could've ever asked for all the way down to the tiny details, and the night was absolutely perfect all thanks to her amazing help and expertise. I never thought i'd be calm and collected on my wedding day, but I was because of Cicely.

Ceciley kept us sane
We hired Cicely for her partial planning services and it was one of our best decisions in our wedding planning process. Not having any close girlfriends or family in town I knew I'd want someone to bounce ideas off of and talk to about all the pretty design things. My now husband really wanted someone to help out on the day of in case anything went wrong. Cicely delivered on both! She helped me design a beautiful wedding and was great for recommending vendors and settling debates. But she really shined on the day of our wedding when our venue changed our ceremony site last minute and she calmed us down and got us back on track to enjoy our day. We would not have been able to pull off any of it without her. Highly recommend hiring Cicely for your wedding! -

I don’t even know where to begin!?! Cicely was the BIGGEST help as we lead into and on our special day. I only opted to do day of assistance, but was extremely thankful for all she did.
About 1 month prior to the big day we started talking a lot more frequently. She helped with items I wouldn’t have thought of, like creating a timeline, making sure our centerpieces were big enough, placement of certain decorative items, etc. She was super attentive to all my questions and would respond in a timely manner.
Her biggest goal was making sure no one leaned on the bride and groom the day of so she handled all the communication leading into that day. She was able to assist in setting up my ceremony and reception and even packed it all up and brought certain items like our gifts, and other important items to our hotel room so we didn’t have to worry about it.
She was VERY organized and really took time to walk through my vendors and what each of those looked like detail wise and gave suggestions and input on things I wouldn’t have considered.
Our day was absolutely perfect and I thank her for making that possible. I’d highly suggest her to anyone! -

Cicely's support was fundamental for us to be able to organize our wedding remotely from Switzerland without stress! Always available to answer our questions, with good ideas and 100% transparent about costs. The wedding exceeded our best expectations and the suppliers proposed by Cicely were also great!!! We loved being photographed by Vanessa, the wedding cake was excellent and the design matched exactly what we had asked for, the bouquet was a dream and Cicely even managed to get us the best table in the restaurant even though we were a small group of 11 people and the reception took place at Mon Ami Gabi - we were right in front of the Bellagio fountains!!!!). I recommend her without hesitation! -

Graceful Gatherings is a master of making it all come together! From the first time we ever spoke to Cicely on the phone, she was so in tune with us as a couple. She was also understanding and patient throughout our entire wedding planning process, and worked endlessly hard to make sure we had what we needed, scrapped what we didn’t, and created a truly beautiful day. She captured the design ideas we had in our head even when we weren’t entirely sure what they were yet. And as a same-sex couple, we felt truly comfortable with her at every step of the process. All our family and friends are still saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, and we have Cicely and Graceful Gatherings to thank for that. -

I Hired Cicely for my wedding and we chose to do partial wedding planning and she was amazing. Everything was so beautiful and perfect I'm so glad we hired a planner. I showed her photos of what I wanted and everything was spot on. Cicely made my wedding day magical and I'm so grateful for everything she did and all of the work she did to make sure my special day was everything I dreamed of. -

Cicely is the best!
Hiring Cicely for our month/day of coordination was the best decision we could have made and we could not recommend her more strongly. With our wedding weekend comprising an Indian sangeet, Church ceremony and American reception, and with our friends and families flying in from all over the world, we had our hands full. As we were vetting wedding coordinators/planners, we encountered some who were very experienced but not personable, and others who were personable but not efficient. We were looking for someone who was truly good at their job and whom we could comfortably rely on for our unique weekend celebrations. Cicely was extremely professional, competent, responsive, efficient, and executed our wedding events beyond our already-high expectations. She did tons of research on Indian event decor and went above and beyond to ensure that the Sangeet setup looked exactly, if not better, than what we'd envisioned and planned for. Because of strong winds, our arch backdrop for the Sangeet broke, but Cicely was on top of everything and took the intiative to move the decor sans arch to another spot away from the wind. When we arrived, we couldn't have guessed anything had even gone wrong! Our guests couldn't stop gushing over how beautiful the venue looked and how perfectly everything was executed. Despite so many moving pieces, she was prompt with the tear down and setup for the next day's wedding reception. With regards to vendor management, her many years of wedding planning experience were immediately evident as soon as she took on our wedding just a month prior to the events. She was incredibly detail-oriented and ensured that all the vendors were aligned on every single aspect of both the schedule and flow of events. Her BEO was comprehensive and pushed us to think of the little details we were missing and helped us stay on track with our to-dos. To be completely honest, it's really hard to think of even one thing we wish Cicely could've done better, because she really is THE BEST. If you're on the fence about hiring her for your wedding, please do not hesitate for even a moment. You won't regret it. -

Cicely helped make my destination wedding planning a breeze! She was so patient with me as I had to look at many options to see what was a good fit for my wedding. Day of Coordinators are so underrated. I found Cicely from Graceful Gatherings through a referral. I am so very happy I went with her! I am an independent personality type, but I knew that on my wedding day, I would need the help. Who wants to work on their wedding day to keep everything organized? Also, who really wants to employee their bridesmaids, family, or friends when they should be enjoying the event? Hire a coordinator and better yet, hire Cicely! Leading up to the event, she was very organized. She would respond to me in a timely manner, she updated the event order with every change I had. She was very patient and kind. On the day of the event, she was able to handle our (tough) friends. She was so helpful with decorating the space to my specs. She listened to my requests and handled them in a professional way. She also helped at the end of the night to clean up and organize the items I brought. I cannot thank her enough. Cicely held my hand the entire time. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat! -

Cicely helped make our wedding at The Smith Center truly unforgettable! The day exceeded our expectations in every way possible, and Cicely and her team played a huge part in that. Her professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond took so much of the stress off our plate! She put together detailed timelines and coordinated with all of our vendors. On the day of, Cicely and her team ensured that everything ran smoothly -- we didn't have to worry about anything! They even did the little things, like swap out some wilting flowers with fresh ones. We cannot recommend Cicely highly enough!! -

Amazing Event Planner
When we found Graceful Gatherings and spoke to Cicely Hoffman over the phone. We knew right there and then that our search for a wedding planner was over because Cicely knocked it out of the park. Cicely focused on finding out more about who we are and our interests to help plan the perfect wedding. We didn’t knew anything about weddings. But with the professional service that we received. Cicely helped us with so many great tips and recommendations. Someone who made me feel comfortable from the beginning to the end being by our side through every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better planner/coordinator. I highly recommend Graceful Gatherings. -

We hired Cicely as our month-of-coordinator for our wedding in April 2023. She came at the recommendation of one of our vendors and after having calls with a few other folks, I felt certain the Cicely would do an amazing job. It was clear she was organized and professional from the start. We had a bit of a complex wedding, with several different venues throughout the day and a lot of DIY decor in lieu of vendors like a florist, decor team, and we even did the linens ourselves. Thanks to her and her assistant, the day went extremely smooth. She also was great at wrangling people with where they needed to be, which was a huge help. I can’t thank her enough and highly recommend her!
