The wedding venue is one of the most (if not THE most) important vendor in the wedding planning process. When we toured Grand View (in the pouring rain!) last summer, it was instantly clear that having our wedding there was the easiest and best choice we’d make for our 4/27/24 wedding.

While the water views and beautifully designed interior of the building initially draw your eye, what’s more impressive about Grand View is the people that work there and the all-inclusive package that they offer. When touring other venues, my head was spinning about what to prioritize; adding an open bar, an additional appetizer, and passed drinks often came with up-charges that force a couple to predict what their guests will care about most and what they won’t miss if it’s not there. Grand View’s seamless process of offering ALL of those things (and more) in their price-per-head package took the stress out of planning and allowed us to have everything we wanted without feeling like we were missing out on anything “extra.”

We were lucky to work with Erin Dean for the entire planning process and on the day of our wedding. WOW! Erin is a detailed and thorough professional. Anytime we had a question, we’d reach out and Erin would get back to us in 24 hours or less with a detailed and thoughtful response. She was always willing to get on the phone or email to answer any question, big or small. Our final walkthrough was about a month prior to our wedding and covered every possible detail of our day, even the details we hadn’t considered! During the rehearsal walkthrough and on the wedding day, Erin was calm and confident and made us feel like Grand View had everything taken care of. She took the lead in setting up all of our decor exactly as we wanted without us having to lift a finger. She connected with all of our vendors and communicated with them day-of so that we didn’t have to think about anything. There has to be so much trust given to the wedding venue staff on the day of, and Erin is absolutely to credit for the day going as well as it did. Thank you, Erin!

We also were lucky to have Makenna as a bridal suite attendant. My bridesmaids couldn’t say enough about Makenna— she helped me and my girls with everything we needed on the day of the wedding, checked in on food and beverage needs, and was overall so fun to work with. Thank you, Makenna!

We had so many guests say that our wedding was the best wedding that they’ve ever attended. We can’t thank Grand View staff enough for making that possible. From our first tour to our wedding day, Grand View made us feel like a priority, helped us have the wedding of our dreams, and made all of our guests feel special and supported. We couldn’t imagine a better venue, and would recommend Grand View to anyone getting married.

We got married on Saturday (6/29) and everything was perfect! From the planning to the day itself, we knew we were in great hands from start to finish! On the day of our wedding, I had a hiccup with my dress and our coordinator Erin was fantastic in helping save the day! We received feedback from both our guest and vendors on how accommodating and “on top of it” the staff was. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the people working there! Huge shoutout to Erin and Melissa for being so incredible and making our dream a reality!

My husband and I absolutely loved having our wedding at Grand View, we could not be happier with our experience. The food was incredible and our wedding coordinator Caroline was there every step of the way and was absolutely incredible!

Tatiana and the team at Grand View gave us our perfect wedding day! The venue's outdoor area and breath-taking views sold us on the location, but it was the responsiveness and organization of the team at the Grand View that made us book. Starting about 6-9 months prior to our wedding, we were in frequent communication with team at GV, planning the details of our day. Tatiana always promptly and thoughtfully answered all of my questions and concerns. Her attention to detail early on made us know that we were in good hands.

We had a specific menu in mind that the chef was able to prepare in a private tasting for us. The cocktails were incredible! I was impressed by how much was "included" in their package, including table side wine service, and chairs that were considered upgrades at other venues we toured.

When it came time for our wedding day, I wasn't worried about how our decor would be arranged or if the timeline would be followed, because I knew Tatiana had everything under control (she always does). On our wedding day, we even had a personal attendant who ensured that we got to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. We are so happy we chose Grand View!

The Grand View simply put is breathtaking. All of our 200 guests cannot stop talking about Grand View and have all said that they haven't seen a more gorgeous venue in Massachusetts. The grounds are incredibly gorgeous, the ballroom is huge allowing for a very spacious dance floor, and the bar area is beautiful and roomy. This venue is absolute perfection.

Caroline was our Day of Coordinator and she was AMAZING! Extremely responsive, approachable, friendly, warm and attentive. She was always willing to to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed leading up to the big day. I even had to come to her with some last minute change requests, and she was able to jump right in to make sure everything was taken care of!

Caroline and McKenna both were incredible on the day of my wedding. McKenna made sure the wedding party and me and my husband were taken care of the entire time! She was there to slip us appetizers between photoshoots and always made sure we had drinks in our hands. We couldn't have asked for a better team the day of and better staff!

The food was also extremely tasty and many of our guests are still raving about it. The drinks were really good as well!

If you're looking for a venue with amazing staff, gorgeous views, and awesome food, look no further. We'd have our wedding at the Grand View again and again!

We could not be HAPPIER with our experience hosting our wedding at Grand View! We had a tall order and high expectations since we had over 200 people on New Year’s Eve and let us tell you… Grand View delivered with FLAWLESS execution. One of the major reasons we booked this venue was that they host weddings all the time, so they know what they are doing, and our wedding was no exception. Their expertise was evident throughout the planning process, and truly shined on wedding day. The staff worked in tandem with our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly and on time. We were able to put our full trust in them to carry out our vision for our wedding, which really allowed us to soak in every precious moment. The venue itself is gorgeous and the food from Chef Linda was excellent.

We were so well taken care of by the entire staff, but a special shoutout to Kelly and Tatiana!! Kelly was our coordinator and a true master of her craft. She is very detail-oriented and brought us + the wedding party through the entire process from start to finish, answering every question we had. When I dropped off my decor, I realized I had completely forgotten to design the decor for our sweetheart table and Kelly was able to use our extra centerpiece items to make it look beautiful for us. Tatiana was my bridal attendant and took such good care of me through the whole night. She made sure my dress stayed together and didn’t snag on the cement outside, kept a water handy for me to take sips during pictures, and just in general brought a positive, calming energy that put me, my bridal party, and the moms at such ease.

We would HIGHLY recommend Grand View to anyone in the area looking for a venue that will take care of them on the biggest day of their lives!!! THANK YOU!!!

Overview:

Grand View was the venue of our dreams for so many reasons. We started our planning process with them in December of 2022 and with each step along the way our questions were answered and we had everything we needed to make an informed decision. The staff really goes above and beyond to ensure that the couple has what they want and need for a perfect wedding day. Working with Tatiana was a pleasure and she stepped in and made our every wish come true.

LOCATION
Grand View is STUNNING. It is surrounded by Lake Nipmuc and will be stunning on a summer or winter day (we got married in late December). There is ample parking and there really is not much surrounding the venue so you really get a private, intimate experience without the movement of anyone else in the area.

FOOD/DRINK
The food is really, really good. Point blank. I’d say 50% of the reason my husband and I chose the venue was for the FOOD! They can customize options to meet the needs of any and all dietary needs and preferences and they even go so far as making specific recipes that may be special to you and your family. So many of our guests could not stop commenting on how yummy everything was, from the hors d'oeuvres to the main courses and late night snacks. Their bar options were endless and our guests were all satisfied to say the least.


SERVICE/COORDINATION
Half way through the planning process, our original wedding coordinator suddenly left Grand View and Tatiana stepped right in, seamlessly transitioning to the new role and communicating with us consistently along the way. The month of, we did a thorough review of everything and when I say Tatiana was ON IT, she was on it! The day of, her and the bridal attendance, Sophia, were so patient, helpful, flexible and kind and helped me and my bridal party feel comfortable and have everything we needed for a seamless day.

Most venues piece meal different components of the wedding, but Grand View’s packages are mostly all inclusive, making it less stressful on you to figure things out. I could go on and on about Grand View but I highly recommend you check it out for yourself as you consider your planning.

My husband and I just had our dream wedding reception at the Grand View on 12/16/23. It was better than we ever could’ve imagined! From start to finish, the staff at the Grand View worked tirelessly to make sure we had a great wedding day.

When we first booked the Grand View, they were super accommodating to let us come down and visit multiple times so we could see the venue set up for multiple numbers of people. We had a large guest count- 242- so we wanted to see what the floor plan could look like.

The food tasting event was amazing and we were able to bring guests. My parents and I enjoyed tasting many, many food options and even left with a personalized special present from the Grand View.

When it came time for planning the wedding, we got paired up with the Grand View’s new coordinator - Erin. I cannot say enough about how INCREDIBLE Erin is. The Grand View is very lucky to have her on their team. Erin sat down with me for over 2 hours to confirm all of our wedding details, guest meals, special accommodations, and linens (just to name a few things). She helped to ease any stress I had and answered all of it throughly. If she didn’t have the answer right then, she wrote it down and made sure to get back to me that next morning with the answer. The week leading into my wedding, I had multiple questions and guests cancel due to illness. I emailed Erin each time with replacement guests or questions and she was quick to reply and to update the guest count. Erins communication was fantastic.

When it came time for the wedding weekend, Erin and her team were all hands on deck to make sure this weekend was epic. And that’s just what it was- EPIC! We lucked out with the fact that there were no other weddings that weekend. Erin let us come in on Friday morning to set up our decor. She did a great job taking an inventory of many items and lended a helpful hand the entire time. She was beyond flexible with the changes we wanted to make to existing decor.

The day of the wedding, everything went perfectly thanks to the GV team. As a bride, people always said I needed to be prepared for things to go wrong and to just go with the flow. I never felt like I needed to this because everything truly felt perfect. Most of this was thanks to the Grand View. Upon arriving at the Grand View for our reception, we were greeted by Kelly, Erin, and Tatiana. Tatiana was our bridal attendant for the night and she was AMAZING! She took care of us the entire night with positivity and a smile on her face. When we got to the GV, we headed right outside for photography. Erin and Tatiana came with us and fixed my dress and veil throughout the 2 hours of photography. While doing this, Tatiana also brought us drinks and appetizers. It was perfect.

During the reception, the team made sure we stayed according to timeline and was quick and efficient with their service. The cocktail hour was a hit. The Grand View accommodated my request of signature drink espresso martinis and everyone was raving about them. They passed many trays of appetizers. When it came time to move into the ballroom, it was decorated perfectly and well staffed. Guests enjoyed not only their salad, bread, and second course, but also their huge portion size of their dinner choices. After dinner, GV put out our coffee/tea and dessert quickly to ensure we had the maximum time dancing. Dancing started and it didn’t stop until the night ended! Every guest who attend spoke so highly of the venue, the staff, and the food. Guests raved about the service - they said staff from the Grand View continuously checked in with them throughout the night asking how their experience was going. The facility is beautiful, the staff is professional, the food is amazing, and the planning process is easy.

If you are looking for a high class wedding venue staffed with kind people who actually care about you and your wedding day, look no further! I highly recommend The Grand View for your wedding day. We had tons of people tell us this was the best wedding they ever attended. This was thanks to the Grand View. Choosing to celebrate our wedding at Grand View was the best decision we made for our wedding.Thank you for being apart of our special day! We are so grateful!

Once again- special shout out to Erin and Tatiana- you ladies are rockstars! You made our day so fun, easy, and memorable. Thank you for sticking right by my side all night to make sure we were taken care of. You are both amazing at what you do and I am grateful to have had you as my right hands that night! The Grand View was absolutely incredible and made our wedding perfect! I could write a book about how great the venue and staff are. We had several changes to our coordinator in the months leading up to our wedding, but each person was amazing and they all took such good notes that each transition was seamless. Our final coordinator Erin was incredible. She was flexible and responsive to all our questions and she also offered us great advice when we weren’t sure about table placement or what order speeches/dances should go. She is fantastic!

The venue is just as beautiful in person as it is in photos. In addition to our own centerpieces and decorations, they also go the extra mile by offering some decor of their own - they hang string lights outside and have their own table numbers if you don’t want to provide your own. It is so helpful and can let you save a bit on decor.

The food here is amazing! We also couldn’t believe how much food we were able to provide our guests and it was all so delicious! The staff also makes sure you as the couple are getting enough to eat and drink throughout the night which was so thoughtful!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The fact that so much is included made planning so easy and it was such a beautiful day! We love the Grand View!!

My husband and I had the most magical day of our lives, thanks to Tatiana and the rest of the incredible staff at Grand View! We are still blown away with how fantastic and gorgeous everything was. We cannot recommend them enough! We also loved that Grand View only hosts one wedding per day - we had the entire space and 100% of their attention.

The fact that all of the above is included made our lives WAY easier, and not only that, but everything provided is fantastic quality, AND the venue is stunning. They seriously know what they are doing!

We toured Grand View in September of 2021. From the jump, Kelly was extremely helpful showing us around, answering questions, and helping us book. We booked for November 2023 so there was quite a bit of time after booking without much contact, but during that time Kelly was able to help answer any questions we had. The venue is gorgeous, which is one of the things that sold us on it. We noticed that they made quite a few improvements and updates in between when we booked and our wedding, which were all for the better and we appreciated the attention to detail that was provided.

Just about 1 year out, we were e-introduced to our coordinator. We actually ended up having a few changes in coordinators due to staff changes but everyone we worked with was fantastic, professional, and took careful notes so that the next person was fully in the loop. We ended up with Tatiana, who I cannot recommend enough!!! She was insanely helpful with anything and everything we needed, and when we could not decide on something, she offered professional suggestions to any questions or advice we were looking for. She was quick to respond to any emails I sent and made me feel so comfortable leading up to the big day. I was thinking of hiring a separate coordinator but was happy I did not spend the money because Tatiana handled all things schedule/timeline, setup and breakdown of all our decor, favors, blankets, place cards, etc., and even reached out to all of our vendors to coordinate load in time, setup, and to accommodate dietary restrictions for each of them. The timeline Tatiana provided was extremely detailed, and was helpful for us to get an idea of what to expect for the day. I sent this to each of our vendors so they knew what to expect leading up to the big day. Prior to the wedding, I had requested that Tatiana print out and provide a copy of the schedule for me at my seat at the sweetheart table and was grateful that she said no - she wanted me to enjoy my time and did not want me worrying about every little minute. She said she would be there to answer any questions I had throughout the evening - and she was. My mom was working on my bustle and Tatiana came over and helped her to make the process faster. We wanted our outdoor flower urns repurposed inside, and she grabbed them and carried them inside. She was seriously incredible and was on top of each and every one of our requests before I could even ask!

Our tasting was held in early January, 2023. We were provided with a large selection of passed hors’devours, 2 second courses, 8 entrees, and 2 late night snacks, and a variety of sides. This was extremely helpful to narrow down meal choices from the large selection that is offered. Seriously - SO MANY CHOICES! It was also great to see the room set up and to get another look at the venue as the wedding came closer. The food at the tasting was impressive but I will say, the food at the wedding was better, which is understandable because of the variety that is served at the tasting. I was so happy with everything I ate on the night of the wedding. The food really was incredible and there was a ton of it. During cocktail hour, Tatiana made sure we got drinks that we wanted and had the team bring us a tray of one of each passed app. If we wanted more, they would have gotten us more.

The moment the ceremony was over, the team came outside with trays of a variety of drinks that we requested (margs, sangria, espresso martini, gin & tonic, wines, etc), so guests did not have to wait in long lines to kickstart cocktail hour. I bought edible drink wafers and drink stirrers with our logo on them and the bar made sure to include those in the drinks for us.

Grand View also covers the cake if desired. We took them up on this and got our tasting box from Gerardos. After we tasted the cakes, we called Gerardos and mentioned that we are a Grand View couple, picked our flavors and the design we wanted, and told them our wedding date and guest count. I really have no idea what happened from then on, but somehow when I got to the venue, the cake was there, looking perfect. The cake was fantastic and so fresh - also much better than the tasting box, which you could tell was made ahead of time. A week or two before the wedding, I emailed Tatiana in a panic asking if I was supposed to buy a cake stand (that never crossed my mind!) and she told me not to worry, they have some and we could use one of theirs. We also learned that Gerardos will provide us with a complimentary top tier for our one year anniversary as part of their partnership with Grand View!

The bridal suite was great to have and was in a very convenient location. Was perfect for me to grab anything I needed or for speedy bathroom breaks for me and my bridal party. They have cameras in the bridal suite so I could watch guests arriving before the ceremony too, which was neat!

The day before the wedding at the rehearsal, Tatiana was so helpful and walked us through everything and made sure everyone felt comfortable with their role. When we didn't know what order to do something, she would give her own suggestion based on her experience.

On the day of the rehearsal, we also dropped off all the decor and “extras” (blankets, favors, etc). I provided detailed notes/photos to Tatiana for all my decor and explained what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, it was all perfectly set up. The Grand View team even makes place cards for each guest which is used to tell them what table they are at and also includes their pre-selected meal choice. We also opted to use the table numbers and votives that Grand View provides to accompany our decor. Throughout the night, the Grand View team was quietly collecting things that were no longer needed and by the time my husband and I were ready to leave, our cars were packed and we just had to grab our personal belongings and hop in. I do want to note that not once did I notice something missing or feel like they were picking up too soon/rushing us out which I was worried about. It was incredible to finish dancing and have them say everything is all set and packed away. We really didn't have to do anything.

One constructive note for future brides, I wish they allowed us to arrive a bit earlier for our first look. We were allowed to arrive at 2pm for a 3:30pm ceremony, with guests arriving at 3pm. This means that we had from 2-3pm for the first look but I needed time to get my dress on and to get ourselves organized once we arrived. We definitely could have used an extra 30/45 minutes, and I would suggest future brides push for this. This was the only part of the day that I felt rushed.

The venue is stunning, the staff is incredible, the food is fantastic. I can’t recommend them enough and can't wait to hold a milestone anniversary party here in the future :)

We had the most amazing experience with Grand View for our wedding in November. From the first tour, the staff was all welcoming and supportive through every question and planning step. Our coordinator, Tatiana, met with us whenever we had neurotic questions or panic moments. She responded to every email and eased every possible stress. As the bride, I felt perfectly calm on wedding day because of the preparation and organization of the Grand View. I would recommend them to anyone! And I am going to because I want to go back as a guest! We couldn't be more grateful.

The Grandview was absolutely amazing, we were nervous going into the selection process but from our first visit they blew us away as the top and only real choice for us. They had everything planned and handled for us going in, and all of our guests said that they had an amazing time. Ask for Tatiana!

Where do I even start!? I can't put into words how grateful my husband and I are to have gotten married at the Grand View. To summarize our experience I would use one word-exceptional.

The entire staff is top notch-highly professional and enthusiastic. They are truly a well oiled machine. The food is absolutely delicious and service is extremely prompt. The grounds are beautiful, as is the bar and ballroom. The venue is meticulously clean and even the bathrooms are stunning! Our guests raved saying this was the best wedding and venue that they have ever been to!!! Can't recommend the Grand View enough for giving us the day of our dreams!

And a huge thank you to our saving grace, Tatiana. Tatiana was our wedding coordinator, but she is so much more than that. She is so caring, helpful and genuinely lovely. She started working with us about a month out from our wedding due to a personnel change at the Grand View, and we could not have been more lucky to cross paths with Tatiana. She is so organized and was integral to the success of the day. She took care of setting up all of our decor (which turned out stunning) and even packed and labeled the decor at the end of the night in boxes. She followed us around with water during our first look and was always ensuring we were well fed and watered! My bustle came undone shortly after the ceremony and Tatiana came to the rescue to fix it. She is a star and we are so utterly grateful for her!!

I do not know how I can even begin to describe how amazing Grand View was for our wedding. But let me start with this; we chose the venue for a variety of reasons, but one of the key selling factors was the absolutely breathtaking views over the water for the ceremony. Well we had the unfortunate circumstance that nobody wants to be in....it rained on our wedding day. The ceremony had to be moved inside; and let me tell you, it didn't even matter. The indoor ceremony was just as beautiful. The staff from the planners to the servers were polite, professional, and enthusiastic. We could not have asked for better service from the day we booked the venue to the end of our wedding night. Not only were they incredibly attentive, they somehow managed to do this so discretely the guests and us hardly knew they were there! That is until we needed something; then without even needing to ask, they were attending to our every need. We truly cannot think of a single issue or drawback with Grand View, and cannot recommend them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book Grand View for your big day; you absolutely will not regret it.

If you are even considering the Grandview as a venue I could HIGHLY suggest it. They are absolutely amazing and beyond professional and organized. They helped create an absolutely perfect day for us from top to bottom. Kelly Sullivan is absolutely amazing, she is extremely responsive and helpful. She answered any and all questions we had and truly was a built in coordinator. As for the day of staff she was there along with so many amazing others that truly catered to us every second of the day. Meredith was our bridal attendant who couldn’t have been more amazing. At every turn she was fluffing my dress skirt, bringing us drinks and hor devours, helped bustle my dress, and even had a damp towel to get some makeup from me off my husbands tux. They are the highest quality venue and I can’t recommend them enough. The food was amazing, ambiance and setting is top notch. Absolutely outstanding.

We got married in early September and worked with Kelly (GM) planning our big day. Kelly and her team went above and beyond to make the process not only seamless for us as a couple but both enjoyable and exciting. The team helped us turn our vision into reality and both the venue and service were exceptional. Can't recommend the team and the venue enough.

The staff did an excellent job of making sure that the ceremony and reception were well coordinated. Kelly made sure all of the details leading up to the wedding were taken care of. Tatiana, Caroline, and Sophia were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive and they made us feel like royalty. They are excellent in their roles and it was so fun to work with them. All of the members of the Grand View staff were always kind, professional, and responsive. Thank you to Kelly for answering a million questions throughout the wedding planning process and thank you for bearing with us through last-minute, unexpected changes. Our guests were extremely impressed by the stunning scenery at the venue and we received outstanding feedback about the food and drinks. One of our guests (who is 90 years-old and has been to many weddings) told us it was the best wedding he has ever attended. We agree with him and we would highly recommend Grand View to any couple that is getting married!

Grand View was the very first venue we toured when we started looking at venues – we toured others after, but found ourselves comparing each one to what we first saw at Grand View, and finally had an “ah-ha” moment knowing we obviously had already found the perfect place to have our dream wedding! What truly made everything so easy for us is the unbelievable package they offer, which includes so many big components such as food, premium open bar throughout the entire night, custom wedding cake, event coordinator, bridal attendant, and SO MUCH MORE. This was a HUGE deciding factor, because it meant one less outside vendor we had to try and search for. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, which there was so much of. They provided 6 different passed apps during cocktail hour, a fruit & cheese display, salad course, second course, main course, dessert, and a coffee / tea station (YES, all of that is included in the package!). This is a one-event only venue which honestly makes all the difference in the world. Every part of the venue whether it be outdoors, indoors, our private bridal suite, and even the bathroom, had the perfect photo-opt. The pictures truly do not even do justice on how absolutely stunning the venue looks in person. My attendants were so good about checking in on me basically every minute to make sure I was okay, had what I needed, or for literally ANYTHING. Things can naturally get hectic when you’re being pulled in different directions and sticking to a timeline on the day of, but that’s why it’s so crucial to have people such as Kelly, Tatiana, and Meredith from the Grand View to make sure it all goes smoothly!

I don’t know where to begin! My wedding day was truly perfect. Gina really gets stuff done and had my dream wedding come true. Tatiana the bridal attendant was truly the best part of my wedding. She is so sweet, funny and attentive. She knew how much my veil and train meant to me and she made sure it looked perfect every second and during every photo. Every little thought or worry I had she took over and handled it. I love her! The venue is stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. The food is delicious! I can’t recommend this venue enough. I would get married again just to have that experience all over!

My wedding day was set to be a nightmare after the forecast was rain all day - and my dog getting sick the night before - and yet it was still a perfect (dog is ok!!)

Alysha was so helpful every step of the way, I can’t believe she was real! She was so knowledgeable and mindful of everything, I’m genuinely unsure when she sleeps because she’s putting 110% in to helping the brides.

When I gave her some attitude the morning of the wedding, she was still so nice and helpful, knowing that I was projecting - she gave me a get well soon card for my dog and the gesture really meant a lot to me.

She went out of her way to make my day move flawlessly after we had to switch up the ceremony site due to the weather (and my hope for it to change lol)

The venue was so gorgeous that I barely needed any decorations and my wedding looks phenomenal, I got raving reviews of the views, the food, the venue from every. single. guest. If I could do it over, I would!

Shout out to the bar staff who were being tested by a patron of mine and handled it so professionally and calmly I was just beyond impressed 😅 and special shout out to Tatianna for being my bridal attendant and listening/answering my questions the day of and making sure I was never hungry or thirsty.

Beautiful floors, windows, outdoors and indoors, my biggest hang up with other venues with ugly rug and grand view just knocked it out of the park with aesthetics - if you’re going for a minimalist wedding this is your place, it’s so beautiful you don’t need any decorations. If you aren’t going for a minimalist, and going big, it’s still your place! It’s such a beautiful venue I wish I had something else to plan in the future.
