  I cannot day enough good things about our experience at Greektown! Ashley was absolutely AMAZING! She made everything so easy for us and went above and beyond. We also feel like we gained a friend out of the whole experience! She was so quick to respond to calls and emails, and was very flexible with our needs. We also had a beautiful room with windows surrounding the room, so it showcased the city well for our out of town guests! The food was insanely good, and was served in a timely manner. Our guests couldn’t say enough positive things about the food!! Would highly recommend working with Ashley!! She will

  Greektown, and all of their staff were incredible! From the very first interaction I had with Sasha Woloch, all of my fears drifted away. There was no task that was too big to ask of Greektown. They handled all of our requests in a timely manner and did everything possible to make sure that our day was perfect.
  
  We had our rehearsal dinner at Bistro 555 in the hotel, and had so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was.
  
  Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on the 5th floor of the hotel.
  
  We had about 120 guests and the ballroom accommodated them very well.
  
  Sasha Woloch, is one of a kind. Any one who has the opportunity to work with her for their big day is beyond lucky!

  We choose the Greektownfor a few reason; (1) attached hotel, (2) downtown Detroit, & (3) the word Vegan on their menu. We had 205 guests at our wedding, they said the venue would hold up to 250 guest, we thought 205 was a little tight, I think under 200 would be good. The hotel guest rooms were fantastic. We had 40 rooms booked for the night of our wedding. We got GREAT feedback from all of our guests who stayed at the hotel. I would recommend having your wedding at Greektown Casino-Hotel just to stay in the honeymoon suite! The hotel (public) lobby is also beautiful for taking pictures as is the Greektown streetscape! The wedding spaces are on the 5th floor. They use 2/3 of the ballroom for the ceremony, cocktail hour is in the private 5th floor lobby, and then the entire ballroom becomes the reception space. The ballroom and 5th floor lobby are pretty spaces, nothing to rave about. For the ceremony we requested a unique seating arrangement with the ceremony taking place in the middle of the room and seating all around us. Greektown accommodated the ceremony well. They also set up the room for the reception beautifully -- we provided the decorations and they arranged them as we wanted. The food was fantastic and they were accommodating in designing the menu. The set up for the appetizers was beautiful -- more than enough appetizers. We went with the plated meals option. The meals --Bourbon Glazed Salmon, Chicken Piccata, or Roasted Vegetable & Tofu -- were great too. We got lots of compliments on the food. We didn't clarify what would be on the dessert display, other than we requested fresh fruit and baklava! Along with the fresh fruit, baklava, cannoli, and cookies they served cupcakes this disappointed me because cupcakes is what we had for wedding cake. I don't think any sort of cake should be served at a wedding dessert display. We had breakfast in the 555 bistro the next morning; we had the private room in the back for our guest. Delish too.

  Happy with our experience

  We had a room block at Greektown for our wedding last month and were really happy with the service. The suite we booked had a great view, and when guests had questions or issues booking under our block, Ashley helped out. She was great to work with.
