Truly an amazing experience!

We fell in love with Mike the first time we reached out to him. I can't even bring myself to delete the first voicemail we ever received from him because it takes me back to how excited he made us feel. He is quick to respond, attentive, listens to your ideas, shares his own ideas, and truly makes it such a great experience for whatever your photography needs are. He has this way of truly getting to know you so he can capture your true personality in your photos and make you feel comfortable, which makes him stick out over other photographers. The quality is amazing and he does so well with capturing candid shots that it takes you right back to that moment. He laughs with you, shares your story, and truly becomes a friend. He will go above and beyond for you and I highly recommend him for whatever photography needs you are looking for!

Mike was recommended to us by a family member familiar with his work and we reached out to him about photographing our wedding. During our initial conversation with him regarding how we had met and what we had in mind for our day, we quickly became convinced he would be a good choice for us. He listened sincerely to our desires to catch the special moments between our family and friends and was delighted at the occasionally odd additions we had (our wedding featured a large war hammer).
During our engagement shoot, Mike's enthusiasm and energy was infectious, a good thing when encouraging two introverts who didn't particularly like being photographed to come out of their shells. We laughed for much of the shoot and felt like the photographs truly reflected how much we loved each other.
He was just as effective during our wedding day, appearing seemingly everywhere to catch the candid moments of laughter and celebration and encouraging smiles from everybody in the family portraits.
We loved our photos, enjoyed the time Mike was around, and never had a problem with communication. I would highly recommend him for your wedding day or a more intimate shoot.

Mike Greener was more than we could have ever hoped for in a wedding photographer. I'm not sure where we can even begin to describe our experience in working with him, but I can say that in short, he truly helped make our wedding day not only memorable but extraordinary.

My husband loathes, absolutely detests getting his picture taken, however thoroughly loved having Mike there and felt like he was part of the wedding party! The compliments we received from our family, friends, wedding party and guests all not only mentioned our photographer but raved about him and his dedication to get the perfect shot - ideal lighting and angel. Whether that meant standing up on a table, crouching down in the wet grass or shimmying in between pavilion poles, we were amazed by his passion to his profession. The mother of the bride commented on his creativity and how well he fit in with each and every one of our guests.

Having just got married the one thing I would recommend to all other brides in planning their wedding is don't skimp on a photographer. Your big day will be an absolute whirl wind and a blur.

Seeing Mike's images brought me to tears.... His ability to capture all the moments, the little looks between loved ones, the small details we missed will be something we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

While we are reviewing a “wedding photographer”, Mike Greener is so much more than that and it was our privilege to have the opportunity to work with Mike.

Mike is a life saver!! Mike saved our wedding day when he was able to help us on super short notice!! Our original photographer had gotten sick the morning of our wedding and she got a hold of Mike to photograph our wedding. Mike came in on no notice and did an awesome job!! Photos are awesome. If you looking for a wedding photographer get a hold of Mike, you won't be disappointed!!

Mike is an excellent photographer who is fun to work with. He was prompt to respond to all communications and easy to work with from day 1. Behind the lens he is friendly and professional, and he has a talent for making his subjects feel comfortable. At our wedding he seemed to be enjoying himself just as much as any of the guests, everybody had a great time being photographed by him, and we had several people comment on how much fun it was to have him around. The joy he takes from his work is obvious and it shows in the quality of his photos. He is quick to smile and didn’t seem to miss an opportunity for a great shot. The turn around on our photos was quick, as promised, and we ended up with great pictures that we are very happy with.
In the chaos that is planning a wedding, Mike was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anybody.

Quit looking for a wedding photographer and just pick Greener Visuals! You're not going to find a better one! Mike was simply amazing. Not only is his work amazing, he is very professional, and so down to earth. He was so good with keeping me calm and my family wrangled in on the wedding day! I can't say enough good about his work. Every time I show my pictures to people I hear, "this is phenomenal work" and " These are amazing" I even have 2 co workers who are photography students who said they hope they can be as good as Mike someday.
Bottom Line.... Pick Mike...... Hes the Best

Mike Greener was so fund to work with and kept an upbeat, positive vibe throughout the wedding day. He was great at communicating with us throughout the process and very easy to work with. His photos are beautiful and EVERYONE keeps commenting how much they love the photos of our wedding. The photo booth was also a great add-on and so much fun for our guests to do and us to have those memories!

Mike Greener is absolutely the best. Our interest in him was first sparked by the quality of his beautiful photos online, but we became increasingly confident with him after reading his bio, speaking with him on the phone, and through email correspondence. It was truly tremendous to finally meet him and spend the day with him while he captured our memories. He made us comfortable and did a fantastic job 'herding cats' and managing some crazy aunt behavior! He's very positive, patient, outgoing, adaptable, and I could go on and on with adjectives. Bottom line: He knows what he is doing and you will be more than satisfied if you choose him as your wedding photographer.

After looking at approximately 25 different photographer’s wedding photos we decided to book with Mike Greener of Greener Visuals. There is no comparison. He is the best. Mike works incredibly hard to capture the story, the love, and the entire feeling of the day. He creates a relaxed environment while working hard, running around getting incredible shots. He takes his time to get a feel for the area he’s working with and has a creative eye for knowing what is going to look amazing. We have gotten more complements on our photos than I can count. Best Photos Ever!

Courtney and I can't say enough about Greener Visuals. Not only are we more than pleased with the photos we have from our wedding day, but we had so much fun working with him at the wedding itself. Mike made taking photos fun and easy. Courtney and I didn't want to spend too much time away from our guests taking pictures, and Mike captured amazing photos in a short time frame. Mike worked with our schedule, or lack there of, without a hitch.

Beyond the wedding, Mike got our edited pictures to us in a very timely manner. Just as we were wanting to look at the photos, Greener was sending them over.

Mike Greener is an AMAZING photographer and businessman. He was flexible and open minded when it came to our wants and needs as clients. He has an eye for such natural and story telling photos. He has a sense of humor and knows how to make a bride feel at ease on such a stressful day. He was there from start to finish on our big day. That was one thing that I really wanted in a photographer. I didn't want a "4 hour package". I wanted someone to document our journey from morning to night. Mike outdid himself and I am so thankful we hired him for our wedding photographer. When I look back at my wedding photos, I feel as though I am reliving the best day of my life. May I just say how thrilled I am that my sister hired Mike Greener as her wedding photographer? His warmth, energy, and enthusiasm made the day all the more wonderful for all of us. Mike was able to capture so many details, expressions, and special moments without ever getting in the way. My sister, friends, family and I couldn't have been happier to have him with us to document the weekend-long occasion. When the bride endured some wedding stress, Mike helped her re-focus on the positives of the day, keeping her laughing and making her feel beautiful. His pictures were a reflection of that positivity. No matter how rushed or stressful things got (which, you know, often happens at weddings!), Mike kept his focus, rolled with the punches, and extracted joy from every subject. My husband and I met Mike in Davis, CA, where we had the privilege of getting to know Mike as both a friend and a talented photojournalist and burgeoning wedding photographer. When it came time for our wedding, there was no question that we wanted Mike to be our photographer, despite having to fly him out to CA from Montana.

We have zero regrets. I appreciated that Mike talked with me before the wedding to get a sense of our vision, and share some of his own ideas. When our plans for a fun photo shoot didn’t work out the day of our wedding, Mike just rolled with it and rescheduled it for later that weekend. He made a point of making sure that he wouldn’t add any extra stress to the event. Far from adding stress, Mike’s positive energy and supportive attitude made him a blast to work with, for my husband and I as well as our guests. At the end of the weekend, I kept hearing the same words from my friends and family, almost as though someone passed them a political talking point: “Best wedding photographer EVER!” And that was before we saw the photos…

Mike’s photojournalism background is evident in his approach to wedding photography: rather than doing round after round of boring posed portraits, Mike keeps the focus on candid shots, making people look their best while also looking REAL (though he snaps a nice portrait as well!) While looking through our wedding photos, I feel like I’m reliving the events, seeing genuine happiness and love in the faces of our friends and family. We now have the story of our wedding captured in beautiful photographs, and we will treasure them for a lifetime.

It’s hard to say what I appreciate more about Mike as a photographer- his positive energy and downright charming manner, or his fabulous photographs. It’s rare to find a person who is both easy-going and fun, AND extremely professional. Mike is both of these, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a wedding photographer!

We knew Mike would be great when we hired him and when we got the shots back after the wedding they were even better than the already high expectations than we had. Any photographer can take set shots of the bride and groom and their families. Not many can get the candid shots that Mike gets regularly. The day goes by so fast and there is so much that you don't see, but then we got to see it all through Mike's lense. Amazing action shots on the dance floor. Fantastic shots of everyone's reactions to the speeches. And truely unbelievable shots of everyone watching the homemade fireworks display at the end of the night. He used the light from the fireworks to get pictures that I didn't think were possible in the middle of the night with no other light. One of the best parts is that I'm a strong believer that you should live life and not interrupt it to take pictures. Mike was invisible the entire time he was doing this great work. He went beyond not getting in the way of the party and the natural flow of what was happening. I literally forgot that he was there. In the best way. I've lost count of the compliments that we've gotten from people on what a great job he did.

Josh and I got married last year in Charleston, South Carolina. Mike was incredible! He flew across the country to come photograph our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. We tell stories about Mike when we get together with our family and friends about how hard he worked and captured every special moment from start to finish. Everyone loved Mike at our wedding and ask for his info all the time. Mike will slide across dance floors in dripping sweat to make sure he gets every perspective of the wedding. His pictures really tell a great story and he is so easy to work with on top of his great personality!

We love Mike Greener!!!! He is an amazing photographer & person. His easy going/personable demeanor is what you would definitely want on your wedding day! All of our communication prior to the wedding was through phone & email. Meeting him for the 1st time on the day of the wedding, I felt like he was an old friend. Mike was the first to arrive at the ranch on the wedding day, lucky enough to encounter the black bear on the property. He scouted out the property and the day began. His personality is, for lack of a better word, perfect for the job he does. He is personable, fun and easy which makes the "photographed" feel at ease and natural, making for successful and flattering photographs. His documentary style is unique and exciting.
His photographs are very alive and dynamic. I wasn't able to be everywhere at once, but through his photographs, I feel like I can share a bit more in everyones celebration. Mike is the one for capturing facial expressions and emotions.
Mike was amazing at not only being invisible when needed (during the ceremony), but also has a talent for working with all the family members. He knows what compositions he wants, he knows how to ask for them and he gets results quickly, so our guests didn't have to wait all that long! big plus for everyone. Having said that, he was more than happy to oblige our every need, desire and request. His only downfall was that I wanted to hang out with him more, but he was "on the job". I know I speak for my husband and Mother when I say I am indebted to Mike for doing the job that I had hoped for.
Picking a photographer can be daunting, as the market seems to be flooded these days.
In conclusion, the three words I'd pick to describe Mike as a wedding photographer would be; comfortable, perceptive and prepared.

We flew Mike all the way out to Colorado for our wedding because we heard what an awesome job he does...and let me tell you he didn't disappoint!! We were so lucky to have Mike be our photographer for our Colorado Wedding Weekend! He did an amazing job of making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera while getting the best shots. He even took a few rolls on the ground to get different angles. All of the wedding party loved having him around.

Since I won't be getting married again, I plan to have him do our photos for the rest of life's adventures!

We were fortunate to have Mike document our wine country wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with the results! From first contact Mike showed the utmost willingness to seek out and deliver the very essence of our wedding experience through hard work and fine attention to detail. After sixteen months of wedding planning I had a very clear vision for our big day and Mike did such a fantastic job tuning in to not only what we wanted, but more importantly, what we did not want for our photos. The final product was spot on! Rather than being stuck with stuffy "classic" wedding pictures, Mike was able to capture all of the candid moments throughout our ceremony and reception.We never felt that he was "in the way" or disrupting the natural flow of the afternoon and he did such a great job connecting with our guests. Thanks to Mike, every time I look at our photos I am immediately taken back to the special moments and I can feel all the love and happiness we were surrounded with on our special day.

I would highly recommend Mike as a photographer for any couple who wants to vividly remember their wedding. He has an uncanny ability to capture the action and emotion of every moment with beautiful images. And in addition to giving us wonderful pictures, Mike was great to work with. He was more than happy to incorporate our ideas and preferences, and really went the extra mile to be sure we were happy. This included setting up, and promoting, a photo-booth which gave us some of the most hilarious photos and great memories of our friends. In addition, Mike wasn’t obtrusive in any way, either during the ceremony, the reception, or any of the other parts of our day-long event. He is a comfortable guy to be around, and has a great sense of how to slip into the background when he should. All in all, I’m so glad we picked Mike to do our wedding. From the preparation, through the big day, and to the final delivery of a wonderfully edited album, it was clear that Mike cares a lot about his work. I’d recommend him to anyone!

Mike Greener is an amazing photographer, and a talented photojournalist. He captured so many candid, special moments during our wedding day. He even noticed small things, such as the flower girl playing with her necklace and the groomsman wearing three top hats at the reception. Mike is easy-going and fun to work with. He listened to our requests to understand what we wanted out of having the wedding photographed. He balanced the needs of the guests with those of the bride and groom to take the right number of posed and candid shots. After the wedding, Mike created a gorgeous wedding photo album for us. Working with Mike Greener was a great experience. Obviously, I had never had my own wedding photographer before, but my husband and I had been to plenty of weddings and understood what we did not want in a photographer. I thought Mike Greener did a perfect job shooting our wedding. His approach seemed seamless to me and Mike blended in so well with the guests. We didn’t have too many ideas of what we wanted, but Mike always seemed to have a plan and we found him to be super helpful. We knew we wanted someone relaxed that could be sent off into the crowd and really capture what our friends and family are about.

When I went through the pictures just few days after the wedding, nothing was missing. Mike was there from the beginning. The traditional photos with family and the wedding party were an enjoyable experience and did not take a lot of time so we could still enjoy the cocktail party. I love the pictures of the wedding party getting ready, kids running all over the place, and he even got some great shots of the dog. Mike got the preparation, the walk down the aisle, the kiss, happy family members smiling after the ceremony, the dancing and speeches. I see something new every time I look through my wedding photos. Mike Greener was fun and laid back. The perfect wedding guest and a really nice guy with a great eye for what our Montana wedding was all about. When the light was falling behind the Bitterroot Mountains, Mike made sure he found John and I in the crowd and pulled us away for some of my favorite photos – you can totally count on him for something wonderful.
