I absolutely LOVED Melissa Gregersen Photography!
I absolutely LOVED Melissa Gregersen Photography! Melissa was one of the top reasons my wedding was so perfect! I feel in love the first time I saw her pictures. From the second, Melissa told me that Bay Pointe Inn was one of her favorite wedding venues to shoot at, I knew I had to have her as my photographer. Melissa’s personality fit well with ours. We are kind of goofballs and spend a lot of time being silly and laughing a lot and she dealt with us perfectly and embraced our personalities. Not only are her pictures phenomenal but she was so helpfully through the wedding planning progress. She helped me plan out my wedding day so that everything...I absolutely LOVED Melissa Gregersen Photography! Melissa was one of the top reasons my wedding was so perfect! First off, I’m the groom and I never spoke with Melissa until I met her for our engagement photo shoot. From the very beginning, I knew my wife made an amazing decision! Melissa is absoluting amazing to work with, she may be bossy, but a photographer has to be, so the pictures turn out AWESOME!!! Our engagement photos turned out amazing, but now we’re waiting for our wedding photos! And I’m even more excited!!! I know she does amazing work and I’m not worried at all! She also was a pleasure all day! She put up with wardrobe malfunctions, hiccups with trying to pin on the boutineers, and having random family members trying to get into our photos! Definitely book Melissa Gregersen if you can. Being a multimedia person myself I felt as though I couldn't find a photographer who was willing to meet all my specific needs for my wedding, but once I met with Melissa I knew she was the right fit. Day of she did phenomenal. Her and her assistant took charge and led our photo shoots throughout the day keeping in mind to get every shot I had specifically asked for. Although many aspects of the day didn't go quite right or according to plan, you definitely wouldn't know it looking at the photos and that was so important to me. 10/10 would totally book her again!Definitely book Melissa Gregersen if you can. Our photographer Melissa Gregerson with Gregerson photography made our day. She came in and I instantly felt relieved and excited because I knew she was going to do a great job. Melissa and I had spoken over the phone many times coming up to my big day making sure she was familiar with my entire wedding day. Although planning a destination wedding was stressful she helped alleviate all of my worries. Melissa and Danielle were so pleasant to work with capturing the most gorgeous photos on our wedding day. Melissa went above and beyond for us on our day; she even went as far as having the staff bring out a 40 foot ladder to capture one of our most cherished photos. We were very fortunate to have Melissa photograph our July wedding in Ann Arbor. I look back on the photos all the time and relive the day all over again, she captured the day beautifully, artfully--perfectly. You need only to visit her website/blog to see what a majorly talented photographer she is, but what you can't see there is what an incredibly kind, patient, and understanding person she is to work with. She is the sweetest person, she loves her job, and we loved working with her. She listened to our ideas, took in the wedding and our personalities as a whole and really made the photos reflect us and the day itself. Photographs and photography are extremely important to my husband and meI. When we started planning our wedding, we spent hours looking at portfolios and talking to wedding photographers trying to find the perfect one to capture our big day. Melissa was that person!
She is truly a talented artist. She has a vision for each photo she takes. Her pictures capture a feeling (of love, of joy, of nervousness, of peace) just as much as the place and the people. Melissa's presence was as calming as could be and I barely noticed her taking pictures when my hubby and I had our "moment" of first seeing each other. She worked with us through every step of the planning and her product (amazing photos) reflected that she actually listened to us and understood what we wanted from the day - something I value highly.
Melissa's presence added to the joy of our wedding day, and her gorgeous photography has added to our enjoyment of and the memories of the most important event in our lives. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I cannot even begin to describe how thrilled I am that I found Gregersen Photography for my wedding day. As the most important day of my life, finding the perfect photographer was key. Melissa was recommended to me by a co-worker whose daughter had used Melissa for her wedding. After seeing the photos of this wedding, I knew I had to have Melissa! From the first meeting on, Melissa was beyond professional while also making my now husband and I feel like we found a new friend. Her suggestions for what we might want that went along with her packages were genius, but she was also very willing to listen to our ideas to make sure we got what...I cannot even begin to describe how thrilled I am that I found Gregersen Photography for my wedding day. As the most important day of my life, finding the perfect photographer was key. Melissa was recommended to me by a co-worker whose daughter had used Melissa for her wedding. After seeing the photos of this wedding, I knew I had to have Melissa! From the first meeting on, Melissa was beyond professional while also making my now husband and I feel like we found a new friend. Her suggestions for what we might want that went along with her packages were genius, but she was also very willing to listen to our ideas to make sure we got what we wanted. On our actual wedding day, our whole wedding party had an absolute BLAST! Melissa, along with her second shooter Ray Brandon, were so much fun and we ended up with so many shots to choose from! We all still talk about what a fabulous time we had and it has been almost a year already! Melissa is so very creative and she has such an amazing eye for the PERFECT shot. The best thing about Melissa is that she truly, 1000% LOVES what she does and it is reflected in her attitude during the time you are with her as well as in the final product.
As a side note, my husband and I are expecting our first baby in March. Melissa shot maternity photos for us, and we have already booked her for newborn photos after our little one arrives. This is just part of the baby plan we have already signed up for where Melissa will be doing sessions at every milestone phase in our baby's first year. We would not want anyone else taking pictures of our family because Melissa is so amazing at what she does. The relationship and trust we have formed is simply refreshing. -

The first time my husband and I met with Melissa I knew she was the one I wanted to capture our day. My parents were helping us pay for some of the wedding and my dad didn't think that "taking pictures should cost so much." I fought to have Melissa be our photographer, and finally we figured it out. I can't tell you how happy I am that I fought to have Melissa!! The first thing my dad said when he saw some of the pictures at the reception was "You were right honey, she is amazing and worth every penny!"
Melissa has this way of making you feel like you are the most beautiful bride she has ever...The first time my husband and I met with Melissa I knew she was the one I wanted to capture our day. Melissa is an incredible photographer...by far the best vendor we had. Her work is stunning and she is so easy to work with. You'd think it might be hard to kiss while you're being photographed, but she put us so at ease and took pictures of us that were more beautiful that we could have possibly hoped. The album that we received with our package is gorgeous and the other items that came with are so unique and great to have. From the first time we met with her, all the way through our wedding day, and even now, almost 4 months after our wedding, she is taking such good care of us. We couldn't be happier and more...Melissa is an incredible photographer...by far the best vendor we had. Her work is stunning and she is so easy to work with.
