  Absolutely wonderful...

  Greta is amazing...My beautiful daughter is a real thinker before she makes a decision and we spent 4 hours there and we never rushed, tried on well over a dozen gowns (won't get that at Davids). We needed the larger sizes and she treated my daughter as if she was her own explaining every dress and what could be done to make it perfect for her. We were not pressured one bit..hence the 4hrs...lol. Greta worked with her to narrow it down to her favorite and in the end. My daughter bought her dress. I couldn't of dreamed of a better experience for my daughter to go dress shopping.

  Best place to shop for a wedding dress

  Greta and Anita are so talented at what they do! They have a ton of inventory and variety, and really help you one-on-one. I was nervous about wedding dress shopping and they were incredibly helpful and really understood what I was looking for. While I ended up finding my dress at another store, my experience at Greta's was by far the best!

  I was able to find a beautiful dress at a reasonable price with Greta's help. She was helpful, laid back, sweet, and really listened to what I was looking for. I absolutely love my dress and can not wait to wear it!

  Great Service, Great Value, Great Dresses!

  Greta helped me find my perfect dress (and at the last minute)! The shop has a great selection. I tried on so many beautiful dresses. Greta was unbelievably helpful in offering suggestions for alterations. She really went the extra mile to make sure my dress arrives on time. I was impressed with the level of service and how at ease she made me feel during the process. Everything I tried on was priced well - I ended up spending less than I expected and didn't sacrifice anything.

  We aren't married yet, but I did find my bridal gown from Greta's! Michiana/Midwest ladies- if you're searching for a specific gown, it's at Greta's :). They have the most designers, the best prices, and the best seamstresses in town. Greta is one tough cookie! She's amazing to work with and will tell you the honest to goodness truth (unlike other salons that just want the sale!!). Everytime I go to Greta's they welcome me like I'm family. I love supporting a local business and I couldn't be happier with my dress!

  My sister and were shopping for a mother of the groom dress for her. We had went to another bridal shop, but because we did not have an appointment no one had the time to help us. We googled bridal shops in Mishawaka and came up with Gretas. We had one hour till closing. We walked in at 3:12 in the afternoon. Greta greeted us and took my sister's information. She took us to a dressing room brought in some dresses. My sister decided on a dress the color and ordered it. We were leaving Gretas by 4:10. Greta was very kind and gracious. She had many suggestions and was very helpful. I would recommend Gretas to anyone looking for a great experience in wedding shopping

  I found my dress here and it was absolutely beautiful. I had a room to myself to try on dresses and they brought as many as I needed in. They were polite and specifically only picked dresses in my price range.

  I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at Greta's. I worked with Lauren to find my dress and the girls dresses. I was very pleased with the service I received from Lauren when I worked with her. She didn't push me to pick a dress, she let me pick some I wanted to try and then she brought some others that she thought I might like. I ended up with the dress of my dreams- it is drop dead gorgeous! Since I paid for my dress in full I was able to get 10% off my veil which was nice. I also got 10% the bridesmaid dresses since I ordered them from Greta's as well. My alterations were done at Greta's too and I was surprised how affordable they were. Greta's staff was always willing to help as much as they could and they kept in contact with me to update me on anything new with my dress or the girls dresses.

She is always responsive to my questions, doesn't mind if I come in to re-try the dress because I'm having second thoughts, etc. The negative reviews make me nervous about when it comes to the alterations but we'll see when I get there next year. Wish it didn't take so long for the dress to get in but I'm sure there is not much you can do about that. So in the meantime, I'm giving them all 5's because LEAH's service has been exceptional.

  I had been to Greta's store when my best friend got her wedding dress there so I decided to start there when shopping for my own dress. I found the perfect dress the first time I went there and had so much fun trying them all on. The staff was very helpful to me and found lots of dresses in the style I wanted for me to try on. About a month later, I called Greta in tears because my fiance who is in the Marines had informed me that we couldn't get married on the date we had set because of his training and we had to move the wedding up by 5 months!!! I already had bridesmaid dresses picked out and everything so I was in a panic to say the least. Greta and her staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly for me and my bridesmaids in the short time we had. Within 2 days, Greta had found different bridesmaid dresses for me that I loved even more than my first choice, got them ordered and delivered to the store 5 days after that. She told me not to worry about the dresses because I now had a million other things to do before the wedding that was now 4 weeks away and she was right... Greta and her staff took care of everything!! I was a mess when I called her that first day I knew about the wedding date change and by the time I got off the phone I felt calm and relaxed because I knew I could trust her to get things done. My dress was perfect, my bridesmaid's dresses were perfect and I had a wonderful wedding day!!!

But they have the best selection of different styles then anyone else in this area for the best price too! greta will help you find the best dress. I walked in thinking it as okay if i didnt find the right dress. Greta helped me by staying late and helping pick out TONS and TONs of dresses and reassured me it was okay she loved staying there. And my bridal consultant Sally even came to my wedding! Not only did i find a dress that had not even graced the cover of a magazine(i found it in on the cover in october my wedding was in sept.) But i found a one-of-a-kind vintage veil that had purple beading on it! Purple! they are AWESOME!

  I went to Greta’s this last weekend to shop for a destination wedding gown and a wedding gown is what I found! Anita helped me find exactly what I was looking for! It’s very easy to get lost in the amount of beautiful dresses that they have. When it came down to it, with my vision and my price range Anita found me the perfect beach wedding dress. I recommend Anita to everyone, she listens to what you have in mind and picks out the perfect dresses for you to pick from!

  Greta is a character! Very warm and receptive. I love my dress, but I do feel it was a bit overpriced.

  Greta's was my second stop to search for the perfect dress on my wedding day. The location isn't ideal and the building is a bit old, but don't let those things fool you - they have so many dresses to choose from! It was only the second dress I tried on and I knew that was the one! We purchased the dress and left it there until I returned to have it altered by their seamstress months later. The seamstress immediately noticed that the hooks for the corset were frayed, which we don't remember when I bought the dress. Greta came to take a look and had the seamstress fix it for us at no charge! The day of my wedding one of the hooks came loose, but have no fear my mother has a degree in home economics. I don't blame Greta's for this stressful two minutes, just one of those things. I received so many compliments on my dress and I'm so happy with the decision I made to chose Greta's!
