Awesome DJ!

Matt with Groove Machine did such an amazing job DJ'ing our wedding! He provided a very helpful timeline to guide me through the planning process of the reception events. He was always available to answer any questions I had. He even customized my day by helping me play a cute song prank on my husband during our first dance. He played good music that kept my guests on the dance floor for hours. The sound quality was great, and lights were definitely party-worthy. He commanded the room easily when making announcements and guiding us through the evening. No one ever wondered what was going on. His pricing is very reasonable for the value. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a DJ in the greater Vancouver/Portland area!

Groove Machine DJ for your next event!

Matt was such an amazing DJ for our wedding! He kept everything on schedule perfectly. He was awesome at getting people out on the dance floor. He was very flexible to any requests we had and I would hire him again for any events I may have in the future. Highly recommended!

Matt was our DJ for our wedding on July 22, 2017. He did a fantastic job at the wedding, and was very professional leading up to the wedding. Matt responded to emails quickly, and was very flexible during the wedding. I will definitely recommend Matt to others.

Matt was awesome!! He responded immediately with a quote for my daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday Party. His quote was VERY reasonable!!! He's not the type of person to overcharge you either, he's more about the people, not the money. He contacted me at various times prior to the party regarding the play list. He responded to all of my emails promptly (and I emailed a lot!) and was able to get all of the songs I asked for. I cannot say enough amazing things about Matt. We had a DJ bail on us. I had to frantically call DJs to get quotes and see availability. Matt got back to me right away and he had our day open. He listened and understood as I was obviously a little shaken up by not having a DJ. He was patient, sincere, and understanding. I right away got the deposit in the mail and we got everything setup! He promptly answered all emails with questions I had.
The day of the wedding he was on time and had all of his amazing equipment setup and ready to go when our ceremony was over. He kept the night going even...

I got so many amazing compliments on the music he played and with how time efficient he was. He kept the flow all night long! There was no confusion when it came to dismissing tables for dinner and the flow for 328 people was amazing. We had 240 RSVP and 328 showed up. He did a great job helping manage all the people and keep the wedding all together. We cannot say enough amazing things about Matt and highly recommend his services for your special day! Thank you so much Matt for making July 28th 2018 a night to remember!

He was more than willing to meet with me before the wedding as many times as I needed to feel comfortable and always responded to e-mails quickly which I definitely appreciated (I was engaged for over a year and we met and talked numerous times in between!). The last thing a bride wants is a vendor they can't reach! He was very friendly, professional and upfront about all costs and services and also provided a great timeline for my wedding day-he was crucial in this...

I didn't know where to start, how much time things would/should take or what order to do them in. Matt was amazing. He was very thorough when going over specific songs, the order of events, suggestions, etc. He was more than a DJ - he was a MC as well. Matt communicated with my other vendors as needed to ensure a seamless ceremony and reception. I had a Sunday afternoon wedding and assumed there wouldn't be a ton of dancing but Matt actually got people out of the dance floor! He also suggested a game or two to play to keep the guests involved and entertained which worked very well! He was a hit! He played music that suited all ages (we had all ages from children to late 80's!). He showed up early on the day of my wedding and stayed until the last guests were leaving. I can't say enough wonderful things about Matt. I'm so glad that he was there on my special day and if I ever need another DJ in the future, or get a chance to refer him to other brides, I will do so in a heartbeat.
